How do you get the video links to: 1 – have a play button over a slide to indicate video 2 – have the vimeo video pop up when the button is clicked on the slide like on the demo? so that it stays on the slide page and just pops up over top
One other questions – can the BG and footer/header colours be changed on pages such as blog and contact?

I’m trying to create non-fullscreen slideshows in which the images have captions/descriptions and are clickable as links to other pages. I’ve tried to fill in the images’ descriptions, captions, URL address although none of this informations seems to appear on the slideshow. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!
Also, is there any way to add background images to pages in this theme?

my issue has magically fixes itself, even though i have some galleries issues, like the double image display
there’s a bug with your tabs, when i switch from tab 1 to tab 2, and back to tab 1, the content shown is from tab 2. same if it’s other tabs as well, the content from the last selected tab will remain when ever i click the first tab. some of the tabs i use toggles shortcodes, but i’m not sure if that’s the cause of the problem.
update: ok the problem is due to the tab title contains a html entity. i added a & and it fails to display the content when clicked. also doesn’t work with other symbols. i.e ”/”

Hi.
1. you will have to add the play button yourself to the image using photoshop.
2. just go to the media section of wodpress, click on a image attachment and paste the url of a video in the URL adress textfield (example: http://vimeo.com/50268931). Then click ‘Update Media’.
3. you will need some css customizations for this. The elements ids are #header and #bottom_wrap. So for example this css code will change the BG to black#header, #bottom_wrap{ background-color:#000; }but this will change the BG on all pages. That’s why you need to know the id of the page on which you want the css code to be applied. So for example if you want to change the page with the id of 1 you write this code.page-id-31 #header, #bottom_wrap{ background-color:#000; }Hope this helps4. I don’t understand the last question

The slideshow shortcode doesn’t display captions.It will take a lot of customizing for this.
You can follow up this instructions to make the slides clickable
1. download the custom slideshow shortcode (that adds links to images). http://dl.dropbox.com/u/108074665/slideshow.phpReplace the one in framework/shortcodes folder of the theme.
2. open up css/layout.css and replace
.flex-direction-nav{
position:absolute; left:0; top:0; width:100%; height:100%;
}
with
.flex-direction-nav{
overflow:hidden; height:0px; margin:0;
}
Now for every image attachment you can specify the url adress. Just go to media section of wp and click on a image attachment. The textfield is called url adress.

Hi there, sorry for the delay. Here are the steps:

Thanks for your help, I’m afraid the fix didn’t work though. I replaced the old slideshow.php with the new code you sent, and adjusted layout.css but all that happened was that the slideshow disappeared from the homepage!
Have I missed something or done something wrong?
The site is live now so I don’t want to leave it up without the slideshow for long, but I’ll leave it as is for now and hopefully hear back from you within a day or so.

Hi, I STILL have not managed to get this working, besides having followed your instructions and double checked. Are you sure the code in the drop box link you sent works?
I copied and pasted the code into slideshow.php and adjusted as you said, layout.css in the parent theme.
What am I missing still??
I would really appreciate the help as the site is live yet the slideshow has disappeared when I made that adjustment.

I haven’t tested the theme with those plugins. The theme doesn’t have Fullscreen video, but you can click on a slide and it can open a video lightbox.

I just purchased this theme and when i activated it, it made my entire wp admin area go completely white. I am on wordpress 3.4.1. I do not know what to do as my entire admin area is completely whited out – I do not see any links or buttons.

With the double click on the lightbox issue – try putting raw tags around the short code where this is happening. For example if the lightbox gallery where this is happening has the short code [slideshow gallery=”1] – change it to raw[/raw]. That got rid of the double click for me and helps as well if the gallery isn’t showing up for some reason.
Questions for the support team: 1. Is there a way to add links and captions to slideshow images in non-fullscreen sliders?
2. Is there any reason why Gravity forms wouldn’t work with this theme? The two seem to not be cooperating.
Help on these would be very much appreciated!!

Does anyone know why when Pixel provides custom CSS codes to place in the admin section ( like this one: #header .sixteen { border-bottom:none; } ) They never work? Has anyone else experienced this? Am I neglecting to add some sort of raw code at the beginning and end of each?

OK, I think I’m kida at my end. Seems I’ve tried everything and the theme just refuses to be responsive on phones and tablets. Everything adapts except for photos. Is there anyone who can possibly help with this?? I’d be forever grateful.

If i could please get a reply to my below questions, it would be greatly appreciated, as I am waiting on this to go live.
1. When I click on any of the portfolio projects from the thumbnails on the portfolio page, it takes me to the blog post page instead of to the portfolio project’s page. I do not have it set to do this.
2. The full screen gallery also shows on every portfolio page even though I have set it NOT to do this in the portfolio settings.
Number one is the most pressing issue. If you could please assist me, that would be SO great!

The css codes need to be added in the custom css textfield in the admin panel.
1. from what I see the links from the portfolio are outputted correctly. But when you try to acces the page it goes to the blog. What happens when you click on the ‘View portfolio project’ button when you create the project?
2. Check your settings that are located below the text editor. ‘Display fullscreen slideshow’ should be off
