I’m looking for a ‘iphone’ solutions – partial background and partial view of top menu. As seen in previous posts around here, this problem bothers many people. I was tried to resolve this with some css tricks for smartphones but without success.

Finally, I was found maybe the tail of solution: in few previous post alex-steeve has been described very interesting think: “But when we navigate on your theme by themeforest and their navbar header, the theme is better and doesn’t display like the screenshot. The background is full (is fix) ! However as soon as we remove the navbar ThemeForest -> background fail!”

Dear freevision, Increative is great theme, but try to correct that little-big problem.

Hi,

thanks. I know, Increative is not responsive. But only a small step from this to display well on mobile platforms. If properly displayed within a frame, it is possible that it will indicate the direction in which to look at.

Hello, as I told you before INCREATIVE isn’t responsive theme. According the first screenshot it looks full bcoz of envato bar. that is weird. OK I’ll produce a solution to make it look like full view for direct URL. This is all I can offer. Agreed?

in the original web you have a filter view in portfolio 2 column http://increative.ozythemes.com/listing-portfolio-home/portfolio-2-column/ but in http://increative.ozythemes.com/listing-portfolio-home/portfolio-4-column/ don’t have a filter. how i put a filter on the images?

Hi Freevision… My english isn’t perfect …sorry! =) I want to buy this theme but (maybe) i read that isn’t responsive… but i don’t understand if you are working to relase a responsive version or not. If you are working for, i wait for it… because we have to work hard on it, and i prefer to do the work only one time! =) Thanks a lot for the great theme!

I tried posting this on your forum but haven’t see anything yet. I’ll try again there as well.

Problems importing “increative-dummy-data.xml”

I’m getting an error when trying to use the WordPress or Atom Importers to import the “increative-dummy-data.xml”. One of two things happens.

Following these instructions: http://increative.ozythemes.com/help/?page_id=275

1) If choosing not to “Download and import file attachments”, all of the Pages import. But of course, nothing imports to the Media Library.

2) If I choose instead to download and import the file attachments, one or two .txt files are imported to the Media library, generally “increative-dummy-data.xml_.txt”, along with an assortment of graphics and photos, 10 to 45 files. At the same time, none of the pages are imported. This ends with the Internal Server Error below.

Any idea of what might be going on here?

Hello, thanks for contacting us. For your info; we’re using the official EXPORT / IMPORT plugin of WordPress. I see that you’re getting server error. That s probably not enough resource server side issue. Please contact with your hosting administrator.

I went ahead and downloaded the theme and WP Importer plugin again, and re-installed everything from scratch. Then turned on error logging and increased max file size and memory limits in PHP. But I was still getting the same error. So, I contacted “Media Temple” the host provider, and have quite it bit more info from the error logs.

Basically… this is their reply: “Looking at your error logs, when you are attempting to import the.xml file, the process itself is causing the server to timeout. The modifications that you made in PHP should have helped, but since WordPress uses fastCGI on the server, which has a timeout of 40 seconds this may not solve the problem. If the file is too large you may not be able to import the file through WordPress because of these limitations. You will need to import it manually via FTP… the issue appears to be the size of the file itself.”

I’ve installed Increative, along with the sample data, on the same account and server once before, and all went well. So I’m not sure what’s going on here. Maybe something has changed in the .xml file since then?

I was never able to solve this problem… since the theme was updated I haven’t been able to load the file “increative-dummy-data.xml”. Any ideas what is happening here…

I have installed this theme before with out a problem on the same account.

If this won’t work, I need to know how to do this manually as mentioned by the hosting provider above.

The problem UpstreamSupport (just above me) is probably experiencing is that their server doesn’t allow this large of an upload through XML, but it is easy to change. Just ask your provider to increase your php upload size to 128MB :)

The images on my single blog posts are not showing up at the right size. I expect the images to be shrunk to a fixed width and unlimited height, but they are showing up at full size with a hard crop instead.

Do I have to manually resize all of my image thumbnails to make them work with your theme? Or is there something else I have to adjust to make this work?

I have been working with a client using the “Increative” theme and received a list of questions from them this morning. Can someone please address these, so I can help them make some decisions.

I posted this a week or two ago on your forum but never got a response. I can’t seem to even find it on your forum now, nor was I able to logon to your forum (did not recognise my email address). I had to reregister again with my email address to post this.

For the Payment Gateway and Cart we are looking at using Paypal Pro and the Woocomerce Plugin. However, Increative does not work with or support Woocomerce (based on the comments in the Themeforest forum).

Also, the current version of the theme only works with WP 3.5. There is a big list of security vulnerabilities for WP 3.5, which is a concern for us.

Another draw back is that the site is not responsive.

What would you recommend? Should we complete the site with Increative and have a separate installation of WP, theme, etc., in a sub-directory for Woocomerce? Or change to a theme that works WP 3.8.1 and the Woocomerce plugin?

Normally a site will at least, look the same on mobile, as it does on lager monitors… but in this case it looks terible, at least on my moble (iPhone). I’m I missing something here? If not, you just have a jumbled up mess on mobile, which isn’t going to work for anyone these days.
