Hi,

Great theme. Really nicely put together, Just getting into having a look at it now. One thing that I’ve noticed is that when you add a table (i.e in the Shotcodes page) it breaks the smaller width view. For example, when I view the Shortcodes page on my iPhone, the table butts right up to the right edge, and the page is zoomable (not fixed like others).

Also the text area on the contact form/blog posts has no right margin when viewed on iPhone either, and this in turn means the page is zoomable, rather than being fixed (as I assume it’s intended).

Vasterad

Hi, as for table on small resolutions – there’s no way to fix it. As for next issue – could you provide me a screenshot?

Huh, that’s a shame about the table, how come theres no fix?

Heres a screenshot…

It’s not possible because breaking words isn’t available.

As for input – try to change max-width in style.css at the bottom of file in mobile media queries.

Not sure. I can see that the textarea input is set in the base.css file and is set to max-width 100%, exactly the same as text fields, so not sure, is it being overidden anywhere else?

EDIT ABOVE : Setting the Min & Max Widths in style.css from 97% to 93% has fixed this.

Also, all pages, initially show perfectly on the iPad. But it does allow you to zoom out, and when it does it throws the right side off. Screenshot to demo…

In style.css find this section:
/* Main Navigation
==========================*/

Then find all top:-99999px; and replace with display: none;

Might helps. ;)

Just made those changes, and that pretty much fixes things, however the Flickr widget in the “blog” sidebar, causes and issue where it still allows zooming. All other pages appear to have a fixed width now.

Vasterad

It’s pretty weird, nobody has before issues like these. Try to remove “margin-right: -12px;” from blog’s Flickr in CSS .

Yep thats fixed it. I’ve actually made an edit to under the media queries to resize the thumbs so that I still get three in a row on iPad and 4 on desktop. People may not have mentioned them as they are all pretty minor. I’m just a stickler for getting it perfect! (It was 99% there anyway!) :)

Vasterad

Ok, cool. :)

Hi Vasterad,

Just a little update. I changed the three files that were causing the revolution slider to stop working for the ones used on the wordpress template and now it’s only the custom.js file that prevents the slider from working. Sadly, it’s one I really need (I could have lived without isotope for example because I’m not using the template for a portfolio).

Strangely, I also added a short scroll.js and that prevented it from working too, so I’ve added that script to the relevant pages after the header.

Do you have any idea yet why I would have having this problem? Could it be where I’m putting the script files or something because I’m now using the custom.js from the wordpress template and the same slider but still it stops it from working…?

Thanks

Vasterad

Hi, please try to take each script from custom.js and make new .js file with them. I will improve js in Incredible soon, but I am not expert and need to ask for help my friendly developer. Cheers.

Hi! We’re trying to get the contact site to function properly, but the form won’t send any e-mails at all.. All we get is the message “Sorry, unexpected error. Please try again.”. Anyone know how to fix that? I change my e-mail and stuff, but still nothing happens. (And of course we have uploaded it to our site.) Looking forward to your response! :)

Vasterad

Hi, did you try to use html page and contact form’s files without modifications on your hosting? Maybe it doesn’t have PHP ? :)

Yes, we have tried to upload it directly without any modifications. The Webhotel supports PHP and everything as we’ve used it with WP before. Are you sure we don’t need to do any modifications?

Vasterad

So probably your host needs SMTP auth to send message. Please contact with hosting support and ask for it.

I already have everything needed to fill in details for SMTP auth, if that’s needed.. But there’s no fields for that in the script provided with this template. Do you have a script which can be modified to work with such hosts? As an alternative, I can change outgoing mail server to one that doesn’t need auth.. Is it possible to change this in the script? Thanks for helping out. :)

Vasterad

It’s possible, of course, but I’m not PHP expert and I can’t help you much. Anyway, let’s get sure if it’s issue by contact with your host’s support. :)

Hi again Vasterad! My webhost told me that I could set it up to use an SMTP without the need of authorization (as username and pass), but that it had to be defined within the PHP file from you. This is nothing I can do either.. This is the first time I have ever encountered this kind of issue, so I really hope you can help me out by solving this. Is it possible that you can provide an extra PHP file where you can define SMTP settings for the outgoing mail?

Vasterad

Sorry, but as I said before – I can’t, because I’m definitely not PHP expert and do not know how to, sorry. :(

I think it’s pretty simple to do for someone who knows PHP , so maybe try to ask somebody on stackoverflow.

Sorry again. :(

Hi,

Just another little observation. When viewing in Safari or Chrome on desktop (not sure about other browsers as do not have access), any page with the slider can be nudged to the left. When i hover over the slider it returns. Any ideas? screenshot here. http://cl.ly/image/2o3x1Y2w1P3K

Yep, i have done that but it’s still happening.

Vasterad

No way, it’s not possible. Are you sure that you’ve removed all top:-99999px? :P

Yes, its definitely changed. As far as I can see, its only in two locations, and that is #navigation ul ul & #navigation ul ul ul both these are changed. Just to add, this only happens when the browser width is 960px or above.

Vasterad

Hm, try to remove “IE Dropdown Fix” (below main menu section in css) then.

Nope. This has no effect on it unfortunately.

Vasterad

Hm, so try it yourself. I’m not mac user, however apple users didn’t have issue that these fixes wouldn’t work. :/

Hmm, not quite sure where to go with it. I think its clearly down to the slider on the main page causing an issue, as it doesn’t occur on any pages that do not have the slider. Might try swapping it out for a different slider, and see if that has an effect.

Vasterad

Ok, it’ll helps:

@media only screen and (min-width: 960px) {
    .flex-direction-nav .flex-next {right: -40px; *right:0;}
    .flex-direction-nav .flex-prev {left: -40px; *left: 0;}
}

Change right: -40px; to right: 0; and left: -40px; to left: 0px;

Hello again,

Just to let you know – if I use custom.js, it prevents the twitter feed from working: disable it and it works fine. I haven’t made any changes to any js files.

It looks like I’m going to have to start again with the original template and forget about using the revolution slider for now which is a shame because it looks good and I’ve paid for it.

Another weird thing that’s gone funny is the buttons and I haven’t touched the CSS .

Good luck with the coding.

I’m having troubles with the icons of the features, they doesn’t show, is like a broken link to an image.

Vasterad

Could you provide me a link to your site?

Default-user

Got the problem. In case someone else is having this…

When you insert a feature, the shortcut line has an extra quotation mark before the iconselect word

Remove it and voilĂ

Vasterad

Ok, I’m glad you’ve solved it. Cheers. :)

I seem to be having a bug in IE 7 with the the navigation menu due to the slider.

the slider is set to animation: “fade”

every time the slider starts to animate the main drop down menu flickers and you can’t press/see the drop down ul

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Thanks again for this great temp,

Ryan

Vasterad

I tested it on demo and works, so it’s probably because of your customizations. :)

Default-user

Thanks Vasterad,

I found the problem I had downloaded this previous to your ie-dropdown-fix class.

so i added it in and it works!

Love the theme. Easy to work with and adjust to my specific needs. Was wonder which social media icons you used throughout and if they are available on Graphic River? Need some other ones not included to share on my site.

Thanks!

Here are icons from footer: http://www.iconsweets2.com/ Unfortunately for icons from shortcodes there’s no any PSD file. :)

Hi,

Is it possible to add a video to the portfolio instead of a static image/page?

I’m using Vimeo to host my videos and would like to use the same pop-up box as seen on the demo to show my videos, instead of directing the visitor to a page. Is this possible?

Thanks,

Vasterad

Hi, it’s possible, check examples of fancybox2 usage: http://fancyapps.com/fancybox/#examples
