is there anyway of making the slider a fixed width so that the slider doesnt stretch right accross the screen?

hi – sorry if I didnt explain properly, I mean sort of like this http://www.gibsonpixeldev.com/example.jpg just in case a background pattern is required. I meant more the left and right arrows

Of course it’s possible, but you need to know HTML /CSS. I can’t help you in this case, because this template won’t support boxed style.

I’m not sure that I understood you enough, so let’s start again. Do you want ONLY arrows to be nearer with themselves and further from end of the screen?

yeas more close into the design like in the example I added, the boxed isnt really an issue becasue I can give the site a bg that gives it a boxed feel can’t I – so I need to get the arrows nearer to themselves as you said.

Oh, okay. Just modify position in classes below (flexslider.css):

.flex-direction-nav .flex-next {
    right: 0px;
}

.flex-direction-nav .flex-prev {
    left: 0px;
}

One more thing – add for both buttons border-radius: 3px instead of:

-webkit-border-radius: 3px 0 0 3px;
-moz-border-radius: 3px 0 0 3px;
border-radius: 3px 0 0 3px;

thank you for all your help – one other quick question – on the slider when they are scrolling through – if I click one of the arrows to go to the next slide this makes it stop auto scrolling – is there a fix for this?

I am on an iphone 4. When I view the home page, the text for the flexslider does not show up. I feel the text would be the most important part of the flexslider when viewing on a mobile device… Please Advise.

Hello, I purchased the Incredible theme and keep getting this error when I upload the theme into WP. “The parent theme is missing. Please install the “Incredible” parent theme.” I don’t see where I need to download the parent theme. Can you please point me in the right direction?

I’m having problems with the template in Safari in IOS 6 . The slider, menu, accordion, and carousel all malfunction after a few clicks in IOS 6 . When I moved to HTML from Joomla I had hope to get away from problems like this but I guess there’s no escaping them. I’m guessing this is a Java issue, right. So how is it solved?

If the image in the flexslider is less than the container width, it is left justified. How do you center it? I tried text-align:center in several places in the CSS to no avail.

Yes, definitely not. Menu will get extra margin below and it won’t look nice.

Add this field to contact.php, but I don’t recommend it. Script used in Incredible is such simple and for someone without basic php knowledge will be difficult to modify.

Hi,

I love this theme and since purchasing I’ve noticed the wordpress version uses the Revolution responsive slider so I’ve purchased that yesterday to integrate.

However….one of the js files in the HTML version is clashing with the slider and I’m having to disable all js files (aside from the ones required for the slider) to get it working. I tried to isolate one but couldn’t.

Do you have any idea what could be causing this issue?

Me again.

I have identified issues with the following:

Tooltip.js, carousel.js and custom.js

All other js files seem ok but the above three will prevent the slider from working.

Hi Vasterad,

I have tried using the custom.js from the wordpress site and it is still preventing the slider from working properly.

I also have issues with 2 other of the js files. Independently, they stop it working.

Any other ideas?

I installed the revolution slider and it only works if I disable the three js files as above.

I have tried using the custom.js file from the newer wordpress template and that hasn’t changed anything.
