Does the contact form support CAPTCHA? My inbox is indudated with spam from the form.

aviators

Hi,

template is not containing the CAPTCHA. You need to implement in by yourself. Cheers

Hi,

Is there a normal html page for about info o for example, the CV speakers? Thank you

aviators

Hi,

there is no normal html page for about info or CV speakers. Sorry.

Cheers

please, i can’t make the contact form working, it gives me server error??

aviators

Hello,

This is just html template so it shouldnt be really working :) It depends on you how you want to implement this, however you can enable error reporting in php like this ( http://stackoverflow.com/questions/6575482/php-how-do-i-enable-error-reporting )

and specify the error you are getting for us. Thanks

How do you update the clock at the top of the page?

Ignore that, I’ve got it.

On IE10, newsletter text input (under the slider) when clicked and any letter entered shows strange “X” on the right side.

This behaviour only occurs on IE. Any ideas why is that ? I’d like to fix it myself. Any help would be appreciated.

I am totally new to this. Do I need to know programming to edit this template ? What about software ?

Thanks

aviators

Hi, yes you could, but it is too huge software for learning in my opinion.

I understand that we can actually edit your template and view it at the same time, with the latest dreamweaver. May i ask which file do i start editing ? is it assets\scss\infine.scss

aviators

Firstly, you should check what is imported to infine.scss. Then edit desired imported SCSS file. If you want to edit structure (layout) you need to edit index.html.

We haven’t created this template in Dreamweaver, so I can’t say if it is possible to edit template and view real time results

Hi Matthew,

My event starts at: 08/March/2014 at 08:00 AM and Ends at 08/March/2014 at 04:00 PM. With that, I used this code:

start: new Date(2014, 03, 08, 08, 00, 00, 00).getTime()/1000, end: new Date(2014, 03, 08, 16, 00, 00, 00).getTime()/1000, now: new Date().getTime()/1000,

and since today is 26/September/2013, I expeted to get 163 days left, but I a getting 194 days left.

What is wrong?

Regards PS

Hello, the start says when the countdown started, end says when the countdown ends. You see the circles around timers are percentual estimation of progress. So lets say Start: 1 january, End: 30 January, now: 15 January. That means the circle around days will be exactly half, as 50% of waiting time already passed :) Hope i made this clear.

I got the contact form to work, but it doesn’t confirm that an email is sent. I simply takes you to a blank contact.php page. Am I doing something wrong? How can I get it to confirm that a message has been sent?

Hello, this is a template, there is no sending functionality behind it. Templates dont offer any background functionality, its just visualization of content and css/html/js files.

You need to build your own logic behind it, you probably need some framework or cms or you can build you own plain php solution.

Cheers

I’m trying to configure the contact form with gmail. After reading through the documentation I’m a bit confused. Could you post what a configuration would look like for sending email through the contact form? I don’t know how to set the email that recieves the contact requests.

Hi,

The countdown clock in the 1st slide and last-seat bubble in the third slide is not coming in mobile view. Please guide me how to make it visible.

Thanks.

The countdown timer needs additional documentation.

Give some examples on how to make it work, instead of explaining on how to do it without examples because the majority of the people clearly aren’t understanding how to do it without examples.

Thanks!

It says if I have any questions, to use the support page. Well, it doesn’t allow me to post there because I need some kind of code to register which I never received.

First of all, this theme seriously lacks documentation. Everything is extremely vaguely explained. By only reading the documentation, you won’t be able to make the countdown timer, contact form or subscription features work.

Can someone please help me out to make the subscription and contact form work?

For those who can’t figure out how to make the count down timer work, place this example code at the top of infine.js:

$('.countdown').countdown({
    start: new Date("November 30, 2013 19:00:00").getTime()/1000,
    end: new Date("November 30, 2013 19:00:00").getTime()/1000,
    now: new Date().getTime()/1000
});
aviators

This is template, the whole code is one big example. Templates do not contain any functionality. If you want to have functional contact forms, or subscription system, you need to use some framework, or CMS. Templates are not designed to have functionality, just to provide you with javascript/css and html codes to give you a head start.

I’m asking because there’s code for the actual form to work, but no documentation on how to make it work.

Could you perhaps refer me to a tutorial that shows how to make the forms work?

Hi, How can I remove the countdown timer? If I delete whole li tag that contains one slide:

  • ...
  • Not shown the next slide.

    Hi all,

    do I get you right that I only have to edit line 2 in file “infine.js”? I would like to start the countdown on 21st of May 2013 and let it end on the event date on 10th of May 2014. Is this correct?

    $(’.countdown’).countdown({ start: new Date(2013, 05, 21, 22, 00, 00, 00).getTime()/1000, end: new Date(2014, 5, 10, 10, 00, 00, 00).getTime()/1000, now: new Date().getTime()/1000 });

    Thx for your help! Marcus

    PS: How do I handle my subscribers? Is there a way to set up an automatic alert whenever a new subscriber was added to the DB? Like an E-Mail alert or Cronjob? What is the tool “Adminer” for?

    Helo, is it posible to install this theme into wordpress?

    aviators

    Hi, yes but you need to edit source files to work with wordpress. If you are a WP developer, it should be easy for you.

    Hi, im having a hard time getting this to work: i want the countdown to the show time remaining between now and May 2 2014 at 8:00 AM.

    tried this, but the numbers are not right. var defaults = $.extend({ start: new Date(2014, 02, 05, 08, 00, 00, 00).getTime()/1000, end: new Date(2014, 02, 05, 16, 00, 00, 00).getTime()/1000, now: new Date().getTime()/1000,

    also, you should know “Open Sans” font family doesn’t support Hebrew and the text appears blank. worth mentioning in the Documentation. Thanks, Great template

    aviators
    in infine.js do (ofcourse use your own values)
    $('.countdown').countdown({
        start: new Date("November 30, 2013 19:00:00").getTime()/1000,
        end: new Date("November 30, 2013 19:00:00").getTime()/1000,
        now: new Date().getTime()/1000
    });

    Cheers
