Is is possible to get just the light minimal template with only corresponding files. There are so many excess files in this root folder, it is confusing. Also the influx.min.css sheet is not formatted to be easily read. It is all one block of code. All other style sheets for other themes look great, must just be a formatting issue. Can you provide a readable document?

Hey Fabio. Just to state categorically that this is really an awesome template. It was easy to set up and even I could navigate my way around the code. All round an incredible Template.

Now the million dollar question: What about a cms version of this template? Any plans? Is it possible?

Hi i have a problem. When i use the “animatedJpgConverter” i get the file just fine. When i overwrite the “preview.jpg” file with my own it does not display correct. It plays but i see only small pictures ?? Does the video i convert need a specific size ? Thanks

Hello, is there a way to access the divs that open dynamically (news, about, contact) via a direct url? (e.g. http://mysite.com/index.php#aboutUs ) Is there a way to achieve this, or do I have to create separate pages for news, about, contact? I want to create a sitemap for my site including the news, about, contact content that appear dynamically.

Now that I’ve used the theme for a while I thought I will write a little review, hopefully to help the developer with improvements for future themes as well as others to decide if it’s a theme for them.

Overall the theme is well build and documented even though some parts seem quite confusing and overwhelming. The theme allows for allot of tweaking and modifications as long as you’re familiar the lingo. Make sure you read the documentation before you edit anything, as you might not realise doing something might break another thing, the support forums provided are also great and very efficient for things not specified in provided documentation.

My main disappointment comes with the overwhelming maintenance required for running this theme. If you have a portfolio of 20+ projects make sure you decide in advance which order you want them to be displayed since you will have to add all the projects manually to the index HTML , with your latest projects most probably being easiest to add on the bottom of the grid instead of having them on top for people to notice them first. You might want to start with your oldest work first since you will have to number each project (unless you remove that feature.)

Also doing updates on the latest news ticker text seen in top left has to be updated on each html file which can become a big job if you have many project and blog html files, for that reason I decided to remove it from other screen and keep it only on main index page. Same goes for related projects at the bottom of project pages, these also have to be manually added and updated on each page. I wish it was a dynamic process using the tagging/filtering key words added to each project on index file.

As for the usability, having each screen nicely slide inn from left/right creates a nice polished effect, though personal I often experienced lag with it, still I really like it and it was one of my main reasons to use this theme. When user testing my website in progress I did notice that most users kept on clicking on the thumbnails on index page multiple times because there is a delay before project page loads, might be related to hosting speed or amount of content you put on your project page but also lack of ‘press’ state on thumbnails doesn’t help.

This was particularly frustrating when viewing on iOS devices, users though it was not working then few seconds later page loaded.

Overall even though I think there could be improvements to this theme, I think for $15 is an amazing bargain. You can get a very professional quality looking site with minor tweaks or go all the way an tweak away. Thank you for your hard work, pixelentity, I will definitely keep an eye out on your future releases.
