Looks like you are doing something wrong or install the wrong files. You need to unpack the ZIP file downloaded from Theme Forest. Then you upload only “InnovationScience2” folder into wp-content/themes/ on your server and you should be able to activate it without problems. This “InnovationScience2” folder that you only need to upload is located in the ZIP file – inside folder “theme”.

Maybe there is some conflict of the JS code, but hard to say exactly what is causing this. In regards to the Lightbulb, I just sent you an email on the address that you used to contact us for support some time ago.

Yup got it, thank you DC, is it possible that Innovations enqueued Jquery is calling on an outdated version? I havent checked that one yet, but will look into it.

I am not sure if this is related to JS, because there are no JS errors / conflicts displayed when I check the console. It might be something else.

For this kind of touch functionality some modifications in the code are needed, but this needs some development and maybe in future we will be able to add some new functionality for these features. In regards to the lightbulb fix, please send us an email using contact form in our TF profile and I will send you back a simple fix right away. This will be also included in the update – it should be released real soon.

There is no e-commerce functionality implemented in this theme. For this you will need to use for example some non IS2 plugin, but this might still need some additional adjustments or changes in the code.

Dissapointing, you guys make massive themes and covers all what I need in it except for e-commerce part, do you have other ones that got e-commerce functionality ?

Looks like timthumb is not working properly and it might be caused by server settings. You can try this:

If the timthumb doesn’t work on your site – you must check the rights (permission) settings for “cache” folder located inside theme folder on your server – it must be allowed to save files inside this folder. You can check this and set the rights for this folder to 755 and if this not works, you can also change then the rights to 777 and then check if it works. It is better described also in PDF User Guide file, in FAQs section – instruction for timthumb problem.

I would also recommend to redownload a new version of timthumb script file from this page:

To download it you can save the content under the link “View raw file” located on the right side of this page. Then you must change the name from timthumb.php to thumb.php and insert it into theme folder on server. And you should also delete all files from “cache” folder located inside the theme folder, and that’s all.

Usually it can be fixed with some easy change in server settings. If none of the above will help, you can also search for timthumb and your host topics over the web, sometimes there are some instructions for each host for timthumb settings, or it might be related to some non theme plugins.

At this moment, for this plugin some additional modification will be needed, because for the main navigation IS2 menu system is used. WordPress menu is currently used only for Header top menu.

Hello, for this you can add it to in the proper way for example to common.js file, or if you want just to test this you can also add a new call in header.php for a new js file.

This buttons probably needs some additional CSS to fit them better to the look of the site. I think you just need to add some class and CSS code for this buttons or area where it is placed. At this moment we are not working on responsive IS2 theme and I can’t promise this now, but I hope we will be able to add some option for this in future.

Hello, I think this might change in future, but at this moment IS2 theme is not responsive and some features might not work properly on mobile – depends what theme features you would like to use, but not all features are mobile friendly. Thank you for your interest!

Something like URL/page/2/ just doesn’t work when using “Day and Name,” but URL/?paged=2 does work (with “default”).

Hello, I just checked this for homepage and the pagination should work fine also with “Day and Name” option. On which page/feature you have this problem? It might be also something caused by non IS2 plugins – if you use any, you can check this by deactivating all the non IS2 plugins and see if the problem still exist.

Yes, you are correct. I did a test of the plugins. It’s Polylang! (sounds like the name of a Pokémon, doesn’t it?). I’ve been using that plugin recently because it’s free compared to WPML which is not free. I will email the developer of Polylang about this. I was trying to find out too if I can do another homepage and give it a URL/es for my Spanish-language readers. I’ve translated many of my posts already.

You can check first if the comments are enabled in section Settings > Discussion. Then also check for this page/post if option Allow Comments is selected in Discussion section at the bottom when you edit a page/post (if Discussion is not available, first select this option at the top in Screen Options).

If everything is properly enabled in the settings, you can check if it is not caused by some plugin by deactivating all the non IS2 plugins (beside NGG).

Also, did you made any modification in the files, in the code that could affect this?

Thank you… I figured out that it was the SuperCustomBackend Plugin. which had the option to disable all comments that effected the posts and pages. Works fine now… FYI: Can’t wait for the new IS2 update

Do you use the latest IS2 theme version? I am also not sure how this works, because you don’t have any submenus available at this moment on your site, but I think I know what might be causing this problem.

You can open superfish.js file located inside the theme in “lib” folder and search in this file for “delay” text. The second finding will should you a parameter delay with some value. I am not sure what the current value in your file will be, but you can increase this value to lets say 150 and this should resolve the problem in IE.

The default is at 150, I change it to various higher and lower numbers with no positive results. I’ve tried IS2 2.0 and 2.2 and both have the same issue.

The value 150 should be OK, because we have the same value on our Live Preview demo site, you can also try to set it to 200, but with both these values you should be able to click on the submenu items. I see the problem on your site in IE, but I am not sure what might be causing this. Do you use any non IS2 plugins? If yes, you can try to deactivate all these plugins (besides NextGEN Gallery) and check if it helps.

Also, you can try to reupload all theme files on server again. Did you made any modification in the code on your own?

When I activate the default permalink setting (URL/?p=123), it works because it uses URL/?paged=##. When it’s any of the other permalinks, it uses URL/page/## for previous/next page(s). Only the default permalink works; the others can go to for example, URL/page/21 or whatever, but shows content from page 1 aka homepage. I don’t really want to use the default permalink setting.

I just found out some plugin modified .htaccess and some things were removed, and the permalinks work now.
