Also, it sounds like you are not assigning a “Featured image” to your posts. If you take a look at the documentation file that comes with the theme, you’ll see a section on “Post Thumbnails”

does any one know the format in which to input image URL so that it shows on the main page?

1+2. There are no options for this so you would have to do a bit of customization to achieve those features.

Thanks! I just went ahead and purchased the theme. Is there a way to show the soundcloud viewer in the homepage with the classic blog posts style? http://i.imgur.com/YUWtTQw.jpg

I tried inputing the soundcloud code into the post, but it doesn’t show. I used it in my other blogs and it works fine. I haven’t found a way with Inspire yet.

It would be incredibly useful for my audience just to click on the homepage instead of going into the post.

So if you want the soundcloud to be shown on the classic blog style you need to insert your soundcloud embed code into your excerpt, like so: http://screensnapr.com/v/bKP28o.jpg

Hi Again,

1. Is there a way to organize the categories on the front page?

2. Is there a way to make the Header Logo highlight a lighter or darker shade when browsed over. ( example: http://themewich.com/extranews/ )

3. Is there an option to change the highlight text color to another color?f When you highlight something on the site its a different color like red instead of the standard light blue.

4. Is there a way to show categories in each of the individual posts on the home page?

5. Small Issue with the “Inspire Posts” widget. It displays both List and Grid.

7. Very Slow Load on Mobile. I takes more than several minutes ( before i added soundcloud players ) But on desktop browser its fine.

8. Is there a screen responsive update coming soon? Just figured out “number 5.” seems that the inspired widget doesn’t work well with “lazy load” plugin.

Hi andy,

1. Right now the categories is ordered in alphabetic order. We might look into giving the user more control over this in a update, though

3. You can change the link color by going to Inspire Settings > Appearance > change main color. Is this what you are after?

4. Not as of right now, except the user can sort the posts by categories, so they’ll only see posts from that category. Again we’ll note this down and look into it

5. Glad you got it fixed

6. I see, that happens when you don’t have a featured image. We’ll fix this for the next update!

7. I just tested your site on my phone and it loaded just fine. Do you still have loading problems? There should be no difference between desktop and mobile

8. Unfortunately we don’t have any plans for this in the near future

9. If you link a category to your menu it’ll show up as the classic style view. So you could have a dropdown with all your categories in your main menu. But making a blog page template is definitely something we’ll look into.

10 & 2. Could you send us an email with your wp-admin info so we can take a better look at this problem.

3. Highlighting as in when you try to copy/and paste text you would higlight the text. Normally you would see light blue. But theres a way to set the option to highlight in a different color.

7. It’s still pretty bad on my phone. I’m on Android. I’ll go check on my friends phones with another android/iphone and see what happens.

8. I can’t really be too sad about this. The theme is AMAZING. but it would be a really nice touch though.

11. Seems to be category mix ups on the front page. Using the category menu. I clicked on R&B and it’s loading other categories.

Try clicking on R&B and scroll down to find ASAP ROCKY. ASAP ROCKY doesn’t have the R and B category attached to it. A few other posts are showing up in it too that doesn’t belong in it.

Just figured out that the widget that shows both the grid/list while selecting only the list feature only appears that way in admin view. Not logged in it looks fine. I guess things look odd in admin only but normal when not logged in.

The article is 6 posts down and the older posts are higher in latest.

I think it’s because you have sticky posts, those will show as your first posts. Ps. we’re investigating #11
