Can I upload pictures for the featured image to use on blog single post pages that have any height and have them proportionally cropped so they are a set width but with open height? I guess similar to http://themes.curtycurt.com/inspired/portfolio/modern-interior/ but maybe with a sidebar
Your featured images are automatically Responsive. So whether you add a custom sidebar to your blog single post or leave it full width like the link above, your image will automatically scale proportionally with an open height. All you need to do is make sure the image you upload is much taller than it is wide.

The best one ever and I have tried a few (23). I was on the brink of designing my own, because I couldn’t find one that really work the way it should & as advertised – THIS IS IT ! – BUY IT ! Hello i’d like you theme but on my old theme and blog, i use featured images to have image before the full article or as thumbnail. I would like to know if it’s easily adaptive to your blog system ?!

If you want to change the order of the text/images you would need a moderate understanding of html/php to re-position your elements the way you would like them.

I’m trying to build an image gallery using the porfolio, however I’m getting this error message on the portfolio page:
no images appear, however when I click the read more and go to the individual items page, the image loads.

Beautiful design!! Congratulations! One question though… is it possible to have a multilingual installation? Like a WP multisite, each in a different language?
You wouldn’t need to setup multi-site to do this, having separate installs for each language might be overkill. There are tons of multi-lingual plugins out there you could install instead.
