Hi, I’m currently using your Options theme and I really like the portfolio functionality of Inspired theme so I’m considering switching to the new one.

However I’d like to have my web content available in two or more languages. Is it possible with the Inspired theme to have the posts and buttons available in different languages?

Yes that is no problem, just need to add a multi-lingual plugin like WPML .

Hi CurtyCurt, Thanks a lot for a great theme. I have installed it and everything works fine except for the Team section. I get an error (Division by Zero) in the php file when I write the shortcode.

I created a team page with the shortcode:

[team categories=”brokers” space_btw_rows=”30” columns=”3” enable_sorting=”false” paginate=”true” count=”“]

And the exact error is

Warning: Division by zero in /.../wp-content/themes/inspired/framework/shortcodes/teamShortCode.php on line 81

I made sure there is a team member in that category and everything is fine in the Team section. There is text and a photo for the team member.

Just set the count paramater in your shortcode. Needs to be a number, if pagination is set to true, so the shortcode knows how many posts to display per page.

Hi CurtyCurt, I just did and it still doesn’t work. The page is empty. Please visit the website I provided above and you’ll see what I mean. I tried it with different categories and on other pages, nothing works.

Just had a quick question. I installed the theme manually and when I went to change the skin and hit save changes, it says “Error Something went wrong communicating with the server” Do you have any idea why that would be? Thanks so much!

I have a presales question, on the homepage can we customise it with shortcodes in full width style, it looks like it can only show 2 column with content on the left and a sidebar on the right for our services.

What i need is to be able to create my own homepage layout, eg… full width, with recent portfolio items….

Can this theme achieve this ?

Absolutely, you can create any layout you like for the home page, they are built entirely with shortcodes, no pre-defined layouts are used. You do not have to have a sidebar you can use the full width column layout, and can easily add a portfolio shortcode as you can on any page.

Adding another post type for News would involve quite a bit of custom programming. Unless there is a plugin out there that does this.

Hi, nice theme, good job! I have two question:

1) Do I have to add informations about autor of this theme in the footer (or in another place)? 2) Can I modify this theme? I want to add a few things, e.g. Login/Register box.

No you are not required to link back to us anywhere in the theme, footer or elsewhere. You can modify the theme, if you have programming development skills to do so.

Hey, Great theme.

Quick questions, i followed the instructions of how to import the slider (front page like the demo), but the images are not appearing on the site, I can see them in the slider section tho. Also how do I edit the text and images? I can’t find how from the documentations.

We discontinued Options a few months back, but are still answering questions as they come up via email. Its not backwards compatible with Options but if you are familiar with Options then setting up Inspired will be a breeze! You will need to update some of your shortcodes, like the blog, and portfolio, and google maps shortcodes, but most of the others are the same, with the addition of some new ones.

There is no purchase ribbon around your comment here, which means ThemeForest has recorded you haven’t purchased Inspired from this account. Did you perhaps purchase it from a different account. If so when registering make sure you use that envato username and corresponding purchase code when setting up an account on the support forums.

Hi. Just installed and setting up inspired. Beautiful!! What font is the nice cursive? I would like to use it as it is in the demo.

Does it come with the theme? How do I access it?

Yes under the Typography Settings tab of the Inspired admin panel just put a checkmark next to the Google Font Dancing Script. Also make sure Google Fonts is enabled. The css is already setup to use this font as well.

Hi, I think I might’ve found a flaw with the design of this theme. There seems to be a responsive state for 728px. However, there is no option to customize/modify this state in the admin settings, like there is for 320 and 480px.

The issue here is that a 728 and 960px layout of the logo and menu need to be the same, which is causing problems for me, when I am aligning the logo on the left, while putting the menu inline with the logo to the right. I can still change this via the css files, but I thought I should mention this.

Yes you are correct you would need to edit the css to reposition your menu and logo on 720 screens. We will add controls for 720 layouts in a future update.

Hi there. I have question regarding this theme. I have two domains hosted on my host site (with different names) and I want to use one (which is not my live site) to install this theme, develop and test it and then transfer the completed thing over to replace my live site on the other domain. Does the theme / setup hold anything domain related that you can see that would cause a problem with this. Is this a simple case of copying the folder contents to the root of the live site? Hope you can advise.

Yes, you can do this just fine, no domain locking. Migrating a wordpress installation also would require a database migration as well as copying the folder contents, and usually some additional tweaking of image urls, but not anything that can’t be done.

Hi there one other question I have having read some of the other posts on here, where you reply that as SEO plugin needs to be added. I am thinking of using WordPress SEO by Yoast so wanted to check if there would be any issues with this plugin? Would you recommend this or another SEO plugin? Cheers

Haven’t tried this particular plugin but I don’t know of any compatibility issues with it. Any SEO plugin with a high star rating should be a good one to integrate.

LookClothing, I have the same result but on my local development environment (With ServerPress). Can’t explain it.

Also have an issue with the layerslider, not responding anymore on the save button when changing a slide.

Other Premium themes work fine with the same provider. So can’t explain it right now. Not sure how to trouble shoot something like this.

Created some tickets, hope to get any response soon.
