One further question, if I wanted to remove the aligning of images to the left by default, how would I do this?

(I basically want images to just appear with no alignment enforced)

Unfortunately I have come up against a problem.

The plugin that was conflicting with the theme is Wishlist-Member, which is a paid-for plugin and my site can’t work without it. I have had the people at Wishlist-Member look in to the issue to see if they can find out why the portfolio is not working. This is what they have said:

The options I can offer are:

1. Maybe try contacting your theme’s designer and show them what’s happening… and, see if they can shed some light on what’s going on. Since they designed the theme, they’ll better understand how it all works and hopefully be able to tell us WHY it’s happening. With more information, I might be able to figure out a solution.

2. Don’t use the “portfolio” function of the them and list this category like all the others. I noticed if I set the “Portfolio” category to “none” in the Theme Options… then, this category shows up like all the others and displays just fine. Again, may not be the way you want to do it, but it does work that way.

So, I guess what I’m saying is I’m stuck…

I’ve gone through the code the best I can, but it’s hard to figure out what’s happening with all the custom code and with files I can’t see, etc. Plus, our policy is pretty solid that we can’t accommodate custom code… simply because it would be impossible for us to code WLM to work with every custom-coded theme that’s available.

Hopefully, your theme’s designer can shed some light and it can be an easy fix.

Is there any way I can provide you with log in details for my site to try and figure out how to fix this portfolio issue?

You have two ways for this:

1. paste the [clear] shortcode after an image

It’s easily. The Theme Panel have an option Author Info. The author info displays on each post if this option is enabled.
