Greetings, Loving the theme, but when I view it on the iPad there are some issues. I’ve set my client’s gallery page to Portfolio Fullsize Gridview. Say I’m viewing the page on the ipad which i am holding horizontally. When I click on a vertical image it displays fine, however, when I rotate the ipad to a vertical orientation, the vertical picture expands all over and loses the caption with the navigation. It simply stretches infinitely towards the bottom of the page.
Is there a way to fix this unattractive bug? Thanks

Unfortunately there is no fix at them moment for this problem because it’s a problem of the PrettyPhoto lightbox script we are using. We have already contacted the author of this plugin regarding this problem but yet did not receive any solution.

Darn. That kind of defeats the purpose of responsive with those galleries. I hope they fix it soon. Is it possible to disable the clicking on the Lightbox on mobile devices?

you would have to change the CSS for the Welcome Teaser. Add this code to your “Custom CSS” field at the “General” tab of your Invictus theme settings:

This theme is really good.
It would be nice to add in the “select photo order” these two sorting options : - order according to original picture name. - order according to photo description.
In the actual options, sorting according to menu order is just a mess when you have multiple galleries with a lot of pictures… and sorting according to Post-ID is just impossible, as the tools available to sort posts are just not well build to sort photos !

unfortunately this is not possible. The order can only be sorted by any post parameters. The image is only attached to the photo post. An order to the description might be possible. I will consider to add this option.

Same as everybody is saying, great theme. Just some questions and remarks:
1) How do you transform the excerpt showing in the image of your home page into links? I noticed that there is a little arrow on your home page. I added “Custom link for Fullsize Gallery” in the photo/page, but it is only creating like on the Title, not the excerpt.
2) Any plan on adding a feature for a sound? a sound could be attached to a specific gallery, that would be very nice.

1) The excerpt cannot be transformed into a link without additional coding in the support boards and is only recommend if you have detailed experiences in HTML, JS and PHP coding.
2) We are already thinking about this feature, but still not found any suitable solution without changing too much on the theme. This still might take a while.

I do have experience in web coding, anyway you can put me on the right track? 2) All right. Just my 2 cents, but for me the important thing for the music interface element is that it is clearly easy to find for the user that want to shut it down. My first guess was to put right next to the menu OR next to the button at the top right corner of the page, like 1 button, ON and MUTE, level is useless.

I have a couple of questions. First of all, I have been trying to update the theme, but I keep getting an error: “Your server does not support this functionalty. Please contact your server admnistrator to enable the option “allow_url_fopen” in your php.ini.” Although my hosting company ensures to have enabled this option, I can’t update the theme.
The other issue I haven’t able to figure out, is how to get rid of page description on the contact page. http://macaya.eu/demo/contact-us/ Finally, is there a way I can change the opacity of the content black box so it is possible to see the background image? Again, I searched for that option within the style sheet and couldn’t find that tag.

1) you can also update the theme via FTP without the default WordPress theme installer. Here is a good tutorial on how to do:

3) The selector for changing the opacity is :
#primary, #sidebar .widget, #nivoHolder, .external-video { }and can be found in the /css/black.css file.

I’m having a problem with the editor, I can’t create Hyperlinks with the visual editor, I have to double click in the button to work, and the modal window appears at the bottom left corner of the screen and doesnt work. I have to refresh the page to go back and add the links by code. Any help? Will you update the theme soon?

Very good last update, awesome! Alltough I’m experiencing some trouble’s with loading times. With W3c it seems to run fine when u are on my website, however, to go to my homepage (Bruidsfotograaf) it has a lag in loading the frontpage. Now I tried to delete all the pictures on the homepage and put just 1 picture up, seemed to work very fast then. As soon as I put up three pictures (like now) of 150kb each, it lags like 5 seconds before loading. I checked my hosts settings together with my host, those seem to be fine. I hope you can help me out here.

did you try to deactivate the option “Preload Images” at the “Fullsize Gallery” tab of your Invictus theme settings. This might speed up things a little. Also are you using the JetPack plugin? This also slows down the homepage slideshow.

Great theme. Although I’m missing one very vital function which sadly makes this theme unusable for my site (or maybe im missing an option). When using fullscreen grid, I would like an option to both view the picture in lightbox and being able to jump to a post assigned with a link, so that you can comment the picture. Since this theme apparantly can’t draw pictures in posts but instead uses it’s own system this is a function I must have. My users must be able to view the picture in lightbox and also being able to comment.
Like I said, maybe I’m missing something but I have been through all options several times.
Anyway, great theme. But nothing for me as it is now.

Hi Ive selected BLog Template for my blog. When click on my blog link it shows the blogs. When I go to a specific blog when clicking in the title it opens up the blog – basically making it bigger. My logo covers the blog title – probably because its the logo length is bigger that the sample. How do I get the open blog to be aligned with the right side of my logo? In a page, I added media and create a gallery with those media. The page is perfectly well displaying the images (I choose 3 colum layout for the gallery) but I do still have 2 problems : - I’d like a way to see the full size image in a lightbox instead of having by default another page opening when the user clicks on the images. - Typo un image caption is super huge, I didn’t find “caption” in the Typography part of the template setup menu, any help?

1) to show featured image in the lightbox you have to choose “Lightbox” for “Choose Link Type” and then set “Type of media” to “Featured image” in the dropdown a bit below.
2) What caption do you mean? Caption for images are generated from the title and excerpt field of a certain photo post.

I do not understand what is wrong, but I do: I create a new page, immediately imposed the template “portfolio fullsize background animation,” and then I select the gallery below … but it do not read the gallery

Hi – A presales question about Language/Translation/WPML – our client wants their site in English and Arabic. I have seen some themes have problems with Arabic as it reads right to left, not left to right like English/European language. Will the theme handle this right-justified text automatically? Do you have any sites using this theme with Arabic or Right-to-Left (RTL) languages? Thanks

we have never heard of any problems with RTL languages. So i don’t think there are any. I know there was a site using this theme with RTL a time ago, but i do not remember. If you have any problems with RTL, we will give you a hand in our support boards.
