Is this difficult to integrate with mailchimp?

ThemeChills

Hi oyohan,

Not difficult at all. I’ve created a video for this which you can check out here

Hope it helps, thanks!

Hi nimbleo,

My client purchased this template, but the newsletter form in the footer has no functionality. Can you update your template to reflect what you have advertised on your template? Thanks.

Robert

Hi Robert,

I’ve updated the main download file as required. The review team should have it ready soon. I’ll post the update once I receive it from their end.

That being said, all that section was missing was a form element – which can be easily added in, but I understand what you’re saying.

Let me know if you or your client needs any help with it and I can give you a hand. Otherwise be sure to check out my video above.

All the best and thanks for the purchase.

Hi Leo,

That’s actually the first thing I tried. I saw the code in your Youtube video (on integrating MailChimp), but simply adding the necessary form field did not do the trick. On the bright side, I explained how good MailChimp is, so they want to use it.

Thanks again!

Rob

Hi Rob,

Ok, though bear in mind it’s the form element tag which contains all the MailChimp code + all the necessary other attributes for your input field(s).

If you miss any of the above attributes, then yes, the form will not work, that’s why you need to make sure it’s all there as outlined in the video.

See how you go, and if you do need a hand let me know.

Thanks,

Leo

P.S: MailChimp is awesome, I agree!

This is an awesome landing page! Nice work man!

ThemeChills

Thanks Mike, glad you liked it!

@robertdiaz – Just received the approval for the item update.

If you need any help feel free to give me a ping, thanks.

Great looking template! Good job!

ThemeChills

Thanks!

I keep trying to upload it to Wordpress and I keep getting an error that says that “The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet. Theme install failed.”

ThemeChills

Hi kareemahmed,

That error is not from the landing page itself. It appears to be coming from how you’ve setup your WP files.

Make sure you’re referencing your stylesheet correctly, then if you wish to integrate the Invokr landing page, the best way to do this would be to create a page template.

See how you go and if you have further issues feel free to let me know.

Thanks,

Leo

Can you embed video in that slider?

ThemeChills

I don’t see why not. The template uses the popular Nivo Slider jquery plugin.

It really will depend on how you wish to integrate it within the structure. Will you only have the one video? Will it be a featured video that runs between the current image slides?

Let me know and I’ll point you in the right direction.

Thanks.

ThemeChills

Hi zoneinfinite,

I did some further research for you and found that Nivo Slider does not currently power videos within their plugin.

You can read the thread from their support staff on this link – http://support.dev7studios.com/discussions/general-discussion/246-using-nivo-slider-for-youtube-videos

That being said, I see no reason why you can’t embed a video as a standalone feature. What I would do, is remove the existing slider, and embed a video of those same dimensions within that specific area.

See how you go with the above and if you need more help let me know.

Thanks,

Leo

Hey Man, nice landing page but I don’t get the sign up form to work. Could you help me out please? :)

ThemeChills

Hi izzler,

Thanks for the purchase!

Re your comment, you’re referring to the slide down sign up form correct? Not the newsletter sign up field?

If the latter, then I created a video on this – Invokr Premium Landing Page – MailChimp Integration (Note: This is for MailChimp only, it may differ with other providers)

If you need more help feel free to let me know by providing further details of the issues you’re having.

Thanks!

Hey,

How do I get the contact form working at the top of the theme? I assumed this would be working as part of the purchase. Is this easy to integrate?

Thank you very much in advance,

Ryan

ThemeChills

Hi Ryan,

Thanks for the purchase. Re your question, contact form which shows in the slide down is left open for you to include your own auto responder client (MailChimp, Campaign Monitor, etc).

Integration is super easy, you just need to essentially add the required auto responder tags in the required fields and you should be good to go.

Let me know how you go with the above and if you need further support feel free to contact me.

Thanks,

Leo

Hi

Great design, you’ve got a good eye.

Any plans to make it responsive? so that it adapts to users on iPhone/Android/iPad

Thanks,

Thanks heri,

Re making the template responsive, not at this time as I have other templates which I’d like to finish up first. I’ll definitely consider it for a future release though.

Thanks,

Leo

Hi marelica,

Where are you trying to install the landing page? WordPress? Or as a static page? Bear in mind that this is a landing page and not a WordPress theme.

Let me know exactly how you’re trying to install the theme and I’ll be happy to help you out.

Thanks,

Leo

I would like to ad salesforce.com ti the top of my form. Do you have any video for that. THe mailchimp video was amazing and so simple to do.

@rockymtnsound – are you referring to integrating Salesforce.com as an autoresponder client to the contact form? If so, I don’t have a video for that as I only use MailChimp myself.

That being said, I’m sure if you wanted to integrate it would be a very similar setup process. I would recommend to check the Salesforce.com support area and see if you can find the info you need.

Let me know how you go with it all, thanks,

Leo

Mate, you’re a legend! I love your landing page!!!

However I’m having trouble editing the top form to be a contact form and not a Subscribe form. Whenever I add <form action=”form-to-email.php” it ruins the styling. Do you have a solution on converting the form to contact us form. I’d like the submit button to send an email to me.

I saw your vid tutorial on youtube about mail chimp. Would mail chimp provide me with these features as I want the email + name field to be mandatory.

I hope i’m not asking for much, i’m happy to pay coding fees :)

ThemeChills

Thanks @concretechone, happy to hear you’re a fan :)

To answer your question, you can definitely use the contact form using a script that will email you enquiries directly vs adding it via MailChimp or another autoresponder provider.

In terms your styling being broken, send me a private message with your site address and I can look into the issue further for you.

Thanks again,

Leo

How would one set it up so that when they submit their information we can capture the information with our salesforce.com account.

ThemeChills

Hi rockymtnsound,

Thanks for the purchase. I’ve responded to your question from your e-mail as well.

I’ll respond through here as well though for your reference – essentially the form is left open to any mail client, which allows you to customize it as needed and integrate with whichever service your require.

Now, I haven’t used Salesforce.com myself, therefore can’t really comment on how flexible or limited their service is. I would recommend speaking to the their support and they should be able to help you out.

If you do have any further issues feel free to let me know.

Thanks again,

Leo

how could i set this contact form at the top to integrate with this:

http://www.freecontactform.com/email_form.php
ThemeChills

Hi iamdnice,

All you’ll need to do is replace the code snippet with what is provided in the example and make sure the required class and ID’s are referenced correctly so you don’t lose the styling – the form is very flexible on the template and it allows for any kind of integration.

You’ll also need to make sure to convert the page to a .php page so it can handle the logic as per the example.

If you do need further help with this then feel free to contact me and I can give you a hand.

Thanks,

Leo
