Great theme mate
you’re a WP theme machine..heheh
Good Luck
LOL thank you very much mate
I’m having problems getting the homepage to show up. I’ve gone into the WP menu and created a custom link ”/” with “Home” as the title and label and added to my menu. I’ve gone into the custom homepage tab and turned everything on. I’ve gone into the Add New Slide and added slided with featured images. Still no tagline, tagline description, slider and no colored background. I’ve also created a Home page and added it to my menu. So here’s my question, how do I tie in your theme to show up in the site at a “homepage”? I’ve gone through the Troubleshoot and the Manual page, but nothing tells me how to get the homepage to work.
Hello,
Did you enable it via admin panel > Homepage?
Also could you provide URL please.
Hi – this is pretty great so far, but I’m having some trouble with the slider. How do you get multiple images to slide? The documentation says to choose an image as the “featured” one, but how can you do multiple sliding images?
OK. When you “add new slide” it means 1 slide so if you want to display multiple slides then try to add more.
awesome! worked perfectly. also, on your demo page, you have titles on each of the slides – is there a way to do that within wordpress? or did you add the titles to your pictures before uploading?
Please read an instruction in manual /manual/index.html
Sorry, I guess I mean that in the actual slider you have on the demo page, there is a small black rectangle on each image that says “built in image upload”, etc. I read through the documentation, but was not able to get those small black rectangles. Sorry if I’m missing something.
nevermind. i figured it out.
what should i do instead? i had the same issue when i had the original image size settings and uploaded an image of the exact size needed.
sorry – i guess what i’m asking is, what should i do (with the default image sizes) to make them not blurry? even without my modifications, they end up blurry. thanks so much for your help!
Like I told you it needs a custom modification on theme code.
i’m sorry – i think i’m confused. why does it need a custom modification? i’m fine with leaving the size the way it is (the default settings), but the pictures still turn out blurry.
Sorry, it needs a custom modification so it disable auto image resizing and use your original image.
do you have listed somewhere what the dimensions of the image size boxes should be? slide, blog featured image, etc?
Try to right click on image and view its properties.
awesome. i have the right size now, 580×300, but it’s looking a bit blurry. any tips? it’s very clear on my computer, but after uploading looks blurry. http://www.littlesproutcreations.com/wordpress/?p=254
I should add that I changed the dimensions in the template to be 580×449, and created a 580×449 image to upload to that spot. It looks great on my computer, looks fine in the media library on wordpress, but looks blurry as the “featured image” on the blog post.
You have to disable auto image resizing in your case but I won’t recommend since it might break many feature of theme.
And it will need to edit PHP code which I don’t recommend unless you have a very good experience on PHP programming.
what should i do instead? i had the same issue when i had the original image size settings and uploaded an image of the exact size needed.
It need a custom modification. So you have to edit the code your self or you can find good Wordpress freelancer on site like elance.com, odesk.com
Hey peerapong,
First of all, this is a great theme! My only issue seems to be getting the featured images to actually appear on my homepage. I have created slides, attached links, titles, content, and featured an image on each however for some reason it simply will not show the images. It is as if the theme thinks the images are being displayed, but they aren’t. Any advice?

Thanks so much!
Hello,
The image resizing file is not working on your server. Please contact your hosting provider with below links for solutions.

Hi – thanks so much for your help. Everything is looking awesome. One (hopefully final question). I have the “JAI portfolio” widget set to appear in my home left sidebar and home center sidebar. I have 4 porfolios. How do I set which porfolios appear in each sidebar? I see that on the widget page, there is a box for “Items (default 3)” but do not understand what I need to enter there to indicate which of my porfolios I’d like to view within that widget.
Sorry, the portfolio widget is fixed by showing recent portfolio items.
nope. one final question.
is it possible to change the tagline color at the top of the home page?
Open /css/screen.css add h1.tagline_header and enter your color code.
thanks – works great. everything is working great. it looks like the drop down menus aren’t working super great – drop down boxes disappear before i get the chance to click on them. http://www.littlesproutcreations.com/wordpress/ (the “designs” link in the top bar is a drop down.)
i have this issue when looking at your demo site as well, and some of your other demo sites… is there an easy fix for this, or is it just a bug?
It’s not issue. I can view it normally. Which browser you use?
i’ve tried it in safari, firefox and chrome. it seems to work about 1 in 5 times, but most of the time when i go to the drop down menu, the menu disappears. not a huge deal, obviously, but a little frustrating.
I tested on all browser and it’s working fine and if it’s not working then Themeforest won’t approve it.
okay – well, i’ve had a few people test it on different computers and browsers, and it only seems to work about 20% of the time. no big deal – i’ll just switch to another theme. thanks for all of your help.
in case anybody else emails you with a similar problem, here is a video of what is happening – you can see that sometimes it works, sometimes the drop down disappears. i should mention that it only does this on the main page, not any of the other pages. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vqAqYB1ak0E
Can the feature slide image size be changed? My images are more square.
Sorry, the slider is fixed size.
Hey Peerapong,
First of all, congrats with this excellent job!. Absolutely love it!!
Everything is working as I want it, so far. But now I have a question. I would like to add categories in the portfolio.
Im a product design student so forgive me in the lack of experience in web design:P.
Is there a widget or plugin I could use to add categories as a feature on the portfolio page?
To use portfolio sets.
Once you assign portfolio to set. Go to appearance >menus. Then select which set you want to add to your menu items.
If you can see it, click on screen option (top right) and check on sets
Hi, I purchased your theme & this will be my first wordpress experience however I do have a good understanding on types of programming (I am an art director but not a programmer).
So, I am unable to get the homepage you designed to show up anywhere.
I went into your psd & made sure all of MY assets (photos & graphic elements) were exactly to size & saved each element as jpg or pngs. I thought I could drag & drop into your theme or replace the images but it appears I have to rebuild it from the ground up?
Please help! I must be doing something wrong!
I see that someone else had a similar question to which you said to go into admin panel > homepage
I do not see anything that is called an admin panel.
This is what I am trying to create:

Thanks so much!
The homepage content control by 3 sidebars so you can add widgets to them.
There is the theme’s manual in /manual/index.html it will help you get through all theme features.
Love it! But if someone could clarify two quick things before I buy that would be outstanding:
1. Does the homepage slider support video too? 2. Can my homepage be composed of the slider on top, then a three column version of the demo home page (as in no sidebar)? Or perhaps the portfolio layout?
Thanks!
1. Does the homepage slider support video too?
A: Sorry, it’s support image with hyperlink.
2. Can my homepage be composed of the slider on top, then a three column version of the demo home page (as in no sidebar)?
A: That 3 columns are controlled by 3 sidebars. You can add any widgets to them.
Good Day
I really like your theme and it suits my site well. I bought the theme based on what I saw in your demo but when you install the theme there is no footer like the one in your demo.
Please can you assist me in getting the same style of footer as you have in the demo for this theme?
Damian
Sorry, you have to pur your own contents. You can add widgets to footer sidebar in Appearance > widgets
Hi I am also having a problem with the following.
The plugin wp-table-reloaded does not display on pages? The short code for the image slider displays incorrectly?
Can you perhaps assist me with this?
Thanks
Damian
Really sorry, I can’t support on all 3rd party plugins issue. Please try to read its documentation or contact plugin author.
Great theme, peerapong!!
I’ve been waiting for something like this for so long now.
Just give me a HTML version including a one column portfolio, and I’ll buy it
!
Thanks
Oliver
Thank you for your kind words
Hi. What I was asking in my previous note is where do I turn on the homepage layout that is the theme that I purchased.
Am I suppose to rebuild it from scratch by way of the sidebars & plugins myself?
Am I suppose to rebuild it from scratch by way of the sidebars & plugins myself? - Yes, it’s standard here since the contents have copyright images license.
There is the theme’s manual in /manual/index.html it will help you get through all theme features.
