JAI - Clean Style Portfolio Business Photography

Hey Peerapong,

Just wanted to thank you for a really great theme – I’ve been using it for months now and love it.

Quick question. I’m looking to use wp-table reloaded plugin – it offers a shortcode to insert into a page, post, text-widget, etc. The shortcode is: [table id=1 /] (which i know to be the right shortcode). When i paste that into the html box on a page, and look at the page, nothing is displayed.

Just wondering if there’s anything on the theme-end that I should troubleshoot. I should note that if i put that shortcode into a text-widget box, it works just fine. But I’d like it to be in a page.

Dear peerapong, your themes are amazing. Unfortunately I’ve a problem with my bad housting. Related images oj JAI doesen’t work. Obviously In local host or in other hostings images works perfectly. On the internet I read this: The Timthumb scripts have some problem on some server. Such as this script need to have abilities to created / recreate some cache in our server. The other big problem is Readfile functions. On some server this server is disabled for security reason.

Assuming that timthumb doesn’t works on my server, please can you help me? I think it’s a problem very easy to solve for you. help:)

I too want to know how to create a portfolio page so when a user clicks inside to view one of the portfolios… the images function like the gallery lightbox.

does this templates has the image to article funtion or do I have to add it like in the PIM Theme?

Homepage slider not loading now upgraded to Wordpress 3.2 – please advise.

How do I upgrade Jai? I purchased back in March and have not updated to this point.

I have a problem with my portfolio. The slideshows that I used (nivoslide) disappeared from the pages and I have no idea why.

How do you install the update? What files do you replace? The entire theme? If I do that I’m afraid I’ll lose all the changes I’ve made to some of the template pages and CSS . So… what files need to be replaced exactly?

Have found an article about updating a theme in Wordpress – is this the best method to use when your new release becomes available?(to fix homepage slider issue on WP version 3.2)

I did not find a way to add a GALLERY thumbnail to the home page but i used a HTML box and added a picture that links to the gallery.

I have one more question: How can i reduce the space between the images? (fall and Louie & Crystal) I am adding a link: http://iheartphotos.ca/main/

I want to reduce the space between the images with about 45px.

It’s ok now Peerapong, I realised I needed to completely delete Jai v1in order for for v1.3 to activate fully, slider is now working fine.

Unfortunately lost lots of custom-made tweaks to the layout in the process. If I was to delete everything and reload a backup into Jai v1, could you provide me the code to just update the nivoslider? This way I don’t have to manually readjust everything.

I’m having an issue with setting the home page. We are trying to set up a static page as the main home page, but the content is posted after the footer. Could you show me how to post the page in the correct location, in between the slideshow and the footer.

I LOVE the firebug addon. THANK YOU ! it will make everything so much easier from now on. I have one more question then my site is done: Right now one can view the website by adding the /main at the end. What do i have to change to make the actual website live? meaning when someone types in iheartphotos.ca they will see the website instead of iheartphotos.ca/main?
