Hi! How do you make a video brick? I’ve tried various times uploading a video into a post, or through the ‘featured image’ panel, but it doesn’t show up in the brick. There is no clear instructions in the manual.. thanks!

Why you don’t get a support by the forum? Previously theme dutch have ticket system for your customers, now we are without any support…If I previously know, that will be like that, I wouldn’t buy you not working theme!

A while ago we’ve introduced two kinds of support indeed. There are quite some TD themes available and providing support is not an obligation, but something we do voluntarily, and we’re always willing to help our customers. But, is too much time consuming and too expensive to help ‘everyone’ on the blog and forums for free. Therefore we also introduced Premium Support forums for customers who are willing to pay for a subscription to get help (1 on 1) within 1-12 hours via the forum or ticket-system.

We are working on an major update for James (3.4.2) incl. Woocommerce, which will be released as soon as possible. James is not updated to WP 3 .4 yet. It’s in not a space technology. It should work properly if everhing is done according to manual. (As with any other WP themes which I have used) It seems that you are not fair in your support philosophy.
HI, I have been able to get my Menu changes to save. However, changes to “Logo” and even to “Place Dummy Comment” at Appearance>>James are just not being Saved. We can not tell (just by the info on this post) what causes your problem exactly. You can post it on the James’ free forum on our website, but if you really need help at very short notice, I suggest you’ll choose a premium support subscriptions. Hi Helen, like others my initial instinct is that Theme-Dutch are trying to push Premium Support. I am experienced enough at Wordpress to work out most things without the need to pay you guys $59 per year. I understand your reasoning but my issue is a fundamental one, probably a common one, and therefore one that I expect standard support for. I do appreciate the fact that you have responded within 12 hours so it’s quite possible I have no need to be concerned that the only support I am likely to receive is PAID support. If that were the case I would not have advised my client to opt for this superb James theme as they would not have agreed to pay the extra monthly fee for support. I think you should perhaps make that clear in your Themeforest bullet points.
As regards my issue … if you email me at my registered email address then I can provide admin login details so you can take a look at my issue and hopefully use the information to easily help others who have the same issue. I suspect it’s because I am using WP 3 .4.2

We’re working on a ‘major update’ for James (including Woocommerce integration). Right now, James is not WP 3 .4.2. ready yet (as you can also read at the themes’ feature page). We’ll notify everyone via twitter as soon as the update is available.

It seems odd to me that we do NOT have a 300×600 brick size.
We have: 150×150 and 300×300 square 300×150 and 600×300 wide rectangle
So I would have expected to have: 150×300 and 300×600 long rectangle
So I have an old revision, or something missing.
If not are there plans to include this in the new version?
My client is not putting me under any time pressure at the moment but it would certainly help to know when the new version was planned for release.

How soon will the update be released. There is no need to inform on Twitter as Wordpress informs us when there is an updated version of the theme. Regards Steven
Hi I am using brick layout on home page at oscarlili.co.uk For each image I create a black and white version and a colour version. I am trying to use b&w for bricks and colour for zoom image when the brick is selected. When I Set Featured Image I am changing the Link URL field to link to the colour image however the URL is never saved so the colour zoom image is never displayed. Can you help please? Regards Steven

It looks almost spot on, the only thing I can’t see is an audio control for the music, do you have a sound on or off button , can’t see onw in the demo site?

There are no bugs and there are two things you can do. 1. Go to your dashboard / Appearance / James. Down at the ‘General’ tab you can install ‘dummy content’ in order to understand the theme. 2. Register for support via: http://theme-dutch.com/wordpress-support/ Fill in ‘all’ required fields, and you’re certainly able to register for support.

Hi, I’ve installed the dummy content. I’ve figured out how to set up fullscreen pictures, delete comments on each pages but nothing is explained about the menu bug that I’ve described below. I’ve posted 3 messages on the forum but no answer yet. Thanks for your help Ron

Your problems don’t have to do with bugs that need to be fixed. James will be updated to 3.4.2 on short notice though. We provide support via our free forums and our support staff help out as much clients as possible. If you are in a hurry and want help (guaranteed), within 1-12 hours, via the forum or ticket system, you might consider a Premium support account.
Hi thanks for your feedback. 1. I’m sorry to say that it is a bug ! When I go to my homepage, I can see all my subject titles, but when I click on one of them, the last one disappear, so it is a bug. It has to be with the length of the characters or something.
2. I can’t make dropcaps, because there is nothing explained about it in the documentation and in the shortcodes generator. And you have it on the demo !
3. For the Blog, how can you insert a picture or slider in the background ? There is nothing explained about it
4. I’ve tried to create an account in the free forum but it was impossible yesterday. When I click on save, the page reloads with no message and my password disappear. So even if I wanted to post a ticket I couldn’t. It’s a bit frustrating to pay for posting messages for a support while it’s free everywhere on themeforest.

How do I add background image for other pages that are blank?

I figured out some of the things last night, but could not find the answer to:
1.How do I change dummy content background for contact page and About page? Generally in pages there is no option, only in post to add slideshow. The pages created are blank, how to add background or slideshow in pages? 2. How do I change the small slideshow in contact page located above the form?
Also, how to delete the author and comments line in posts that looks like this Nov 23, 2012 | admin | Melbourne | 0 but with icons?
I have disabled commenting… but this still shows..
And last how to disable the sidemenu and show only slideshow in page or post?
Hope to get answers from someone as quick as the ones I got for the first post… : )

Thanks for you answer, but your example is not what ! need.
I have noticed that you use the Supersized Jquery plugin for the background slideshows. Supersized have options to show or not arrows for navigation, dots navigation, thumbnails navigation bar at the bottom, etc…
I would like to have the thumbnails scrolling bar navigation at the bottom of the background slideshow (you can see it in the screen capture on the official page : http://ww.buildinternet.com/project/supersized).
If we have thumbnails navigation, the visitor can hide the content and navigate in the background images like a fullscreen gallery. This is exactly what i need.
