Hey guys,

Do you have a timeframe on the job seekers add-on plugin?

Astoundify

We don’t but as soon as we have it released we’ll update the sales copy on the Jobify site and also let our customers know via email newsletter and twitter!

Follow us here on Twitter for theme updates & on GitHub for our plugin updates :)

Astoundify

Hello, we just wanted to let you know that the most requested feature for Jobify has arrived! Jobify has been updated to include complete support for Mike Jolley’s Resume Manager. Now users of your site can submit their resume to be browsed and viewed by potential employers.

Once you see active resumes on Jobify or view the submission page we know you’ll love this update as much as we do.

Thanks, Adam.

Pre Purchase Q: After you click on the companies image on a job listing, you are brought to their other job posts/profile page. Is the company able to upload multiple images that could display as a ‘portfolio’ gallery ? If not, how easy would this be to get developed as I think it would be a great feature

Astoundify

Currently no, that page is not customizable. It uses the company information from their listings.

An “employer” dashboard extension plugin is being developed that would make allowing companies to upload images, etc a lot easier to add on I would imagine.

At the moment you would need to pretty much create all the upload/display functionality from scratch.

Great to read that you’re building a jobseeker plugin. Can I please add my request. When you build it can you please allow the option for admins to charge jobseekers to create a profile/search jobs etc? Looking forward to buying the theme if you can implement such a feature.

Astoundify

Thanks for the suggestions and feedback! Your suggestions help build better products!

Cheers!

Pre-purchase question:

I am looking to integrate a careers section for a restaurant website. Can I customize/tailor Jobify to function for (a) one company and (b) not accept job posts from the outside?

Astoundify

Certainly. You would just not create a page for job submissions, and manually create the the company-specific jobs from the WordPress admin panel.

Hi there,

Jobify theme is one of my best candidate before I purchase any plugin or theme for my job listing company… But I need to know if there is a separate dashboard for employer and job seeker.. something that an employer can lookup all of his job listings, and something that a jobseeker can look up on all of his applied jobs…

for payment option, can we process recurring charges … thanks…

ED

Astoundify

There is currently only a way for employers to see their job listings, but not one for job seekers. This could potentially be an addon in the future, but is not currently a part of the WP Job Manager plugin.

I’m not 100% sure about recurring charges. I think http://www.woothemes.com/products/woocommerce-subscriptions/# would work with the WooCommerce Paid Listings addon, but you should contact the plugin author first: http://mikejolley.com

Hope that helps!

Hello,

your theme interested me much, but I have a question about the job page.

For example, how does one contact “foursquare” with this page: http://demo.astoundify.com/jobify/job/graphic-designer/

Regards, Cédric

Astoundify

Click the apply button: on this page http://demo.astoundify.com/jobify/job/graphic-designer/ and you will understand.

Default-user

ok, I did not have it earlier but a redirect link to the advertiser’s site …

is that the contact form via the “apply” button is protected against spam?

Astoundify

Yes, it is protected against spam using “Honeypot” spam protection.

Default-user

ok, this is very good work!

you have a module to add ratings and comments?

Astoundify

Comments can be displayed on any page/post/job posting etc just needs to be enabled, we do not have any recommendations regarding adding ratings to the theme.

Default-user

ok, you can enable comments, this is what I want.

last question, is there a possibility to download several logo / images and it appears as a gallery in the description page of a job?

is that there is a wordpress plugin compatible with your theme?

Astoundify

You can insert a gallery on a job posting using the default WordPress gallery feature, very simple to do. http://codex.wordpress.org/Gallery_Shortcode or you could use a gallery plugin.

Default-user

ok, well … you have a video tutorial for jobify?

as for fundify theme …

Astoundify

Yes, we have a video overview of setting up both themes in their respective documentation.

Default-user

ok, is that you offer compensation against installing the theme?

Astoundify

“compensation against installing the theme?” sorry?

Default-user

I pay you to install the theme as the same on themforest

Default-user

ok, I’ll see … you are very kind and helpful!

Default-user

ok, I’ll find the right domain name and you order …

Default-user

Hello, I just sent you an email via your support for customization of the theme

Astoundify

We do not offer customization of the theme, we get our friends over at WerkPress.com to do that, they will be in touch with you.

Cheers!

Hi, I actively watched your impressive theme and I get some questions in relation with the job website that i want to build: 1/ is it possible to place easily the company name as optional? 2/ for job region, is it possible to choose 2 or more regions? 3/ Is it possible that the website manager approves each job before it is posted on the website? 4/ I also want the website manager receive all the applications to do a first selection and after he will send the selected applications to the job poster. 5/ Is it possible to add some text box like “description “(to organize the description : ex : 1- qualifications, 2- experience, 3- motivation, ...). thanks.

Astoundify

1. Reasonably easy. You will need to add a bit of custom code into a child theme or plugin, but it’s fairly easy to do.

2. Not by default, no. This would require customization.

3. Yes, by default this is the option.

4. You could have all applicants apply and have the email go to the site admin using our Gravity Forms addon. Then the site admin can decide which ones to send on.

5. Similar to #1. We have some custom code here: https://github.com/astoundify/wp-job-manager-fields

Hope that helps!

I’ve hust bought the theme, which I think it’s great, but have got a problem: the map’s not showing at all.

I’ve tried different zoom options but nothing’s happening, it’s just blank.

Astoundify

Delete the map from the widget area by removing it, then re-add the map widget to the widget area then save the widget options, ensure you refresh your browser before you re-visit the home page.

Good day

I have a pre-purchase question, do you have a meet the team page or have any plans to add a page template?

Default-user

Also can I somehow list all the candidates for companies to view?

Astoundify

We don’t need to add a meet the team page when you can simply make one using column shortcodes, then add images of the team members above the columns, and then links/icons to social networks.

If you need help understanding how to make a page like this ask us on the support forums, it would take about 5mins to create.

We are already building a job seekers add-on plugin that will work with Jobify and the WP Job Manager plugin.

It will allow job seekers to upload job resumes to the site and employers will have access to this information for free or the site admin would be able to charge the employment companies access to the database.
