I found the Android problem Ency. Default “Remove unsupported tags” is on at the XHTML tab. I turned it off and it works now.

Some questions Ency. The template is live (http://www.bcvirtus.nl) but I have some questions on the different platforms

BlackBerry, the menu is aligned left instead of center

Android (htc desire hd) If I rotate the screen the menu has two koloms (left kolom items 1-4 and right kolom items 5-7

iPhone 4 If I rotate the screen the width of the site exceeds the width of the screen. (start button and club logo fits on the screen)

The iPhone problem seems to be a cache issue. But the Android and BB problem still exists, any ideas Ency??

Hi rdekker,

Sorry, I checked your site with a blackberry, an android and a symbian phone and couldn’t find a major problem.

I advice you to select joobile-header or joobile-footer for your menu positions.

I’ve moved the menu to footer but still have the problem, see photo

I cannot reproduce the BB problem because I haven’t one. I saw it on a BB from a team member.

Hi rdekker,

All menu elements must have same width, so you have one option, to make the menu vertical. Open /joobile/style.css with a text editor and paste this just before the /* media queries */ line .ui-navbar .menu li { width: 100%!important; }

this will make all your menus one column. But this may be a problem on small screens.

Hi,

Great theme for Joomla. I been looking for this!

How can I configure it to acceept å, ä, ö.

I soved it with using a editor to insert nummers instead for å,ä,ö.

But the titles and search and what joomla displays does not show å,ä,ö

You mention before in post above there is a solution in the functions.php? How?

By the way Im using Joomla 1.7

Hi BoRaptis,

I updated the theme to version 1.1 and this should solve your problem.

Let me know if the problem persists.

Hi BoRaptis,

You do not need to buy again for an update, you just redownload it.

I uploaded the version 1.1 about 3 hours ago and waiting for the approval. Wait 24 hours and redownload the theme please.

Hi Ency,

On my test site (www.test.bcvirtus.com) I’ve upgrade Mobile joomla and the mobile site was still working. Secondly I’ve updated the your template. First removed v1.0 and than installed v1.1. adjusted templateDetails.xml, index.php and style.css just as on the original site (www.bcvirtus.nl).

But the mobile site isn’t working anymore.

the site is J1.7.x

Can you see the problem?

Additional info: Without the adjustments on templateDetails.xml, index.php and style.css the site isn’t working either. When I turn debug on, on my iphone I get 2 javascript errors:

ReferenceError: Can’t find variable: jQuery and ReferenceError: Can’t find variable: $

Hi rdekker,

The problem seems like the one you had before. Something crashes joomla and it can not process jdoc statements. Last problem was “Taptheme template chooser plugin” as you know. It might be a plugin or component problem. Disable all plugins one by one and check if theme works. If you couldn’t find the problem let me know.

Hi Ency

I had also a rockettheme issue but that one is solved now. I still have mobile problems. What have I done: Restore the J1.7 prod site to www.test.bcvirtus.com -test: mobile site works upgrade mobile joomla -test: mobile site works upgrade J1.7 to J2.5.2 -test: mobile site: start page works, any menu item results is a spinning wheel with “Loading”.

Any clue?

btw (I’ve also tested without the mobile joomla upgrade; same problem)

Hi rdekker,

I updated the mobile joomla component and my template works with it. I’m really not sure what your problem is but I think about supporting Joomla 2.5. But really have no idea when it will be ready.

Can I check with you if this is a plugin/extention theme of mobile joomla? Can I plugin to my existing Joomla site? Thanks

Hi mybiz,

This is a standalone theme for joomla. Not a plugin of extension theme of mobile joomla. You only need mobile joomla to switch between your theme and mobile theme. But you may use other plugins to switch to Joobile.

With the new functions.php the template is compatible with J2.5. Thanks for your help.

Hi ketok,

Thanks for purchasing my theme. you can switch between templates using mobile joomla plugin. to provide an option for desktop view, install mobile joomla, from module manager publish “Select Markup module” module wherever you want.
