thanks for purchasing. if you have any problems, please let me know.

Hello, So far so good, I had to hack the language (Joomla core) Spanish language files in order to work right…..Á = á Ú = ú….Etc, Because text was not displaying properly on the template (front).....

Have you tested components such as slideshows, Photo galeries, Etc…and if so which which ones would you recommend i use? I have installed the VTEM slideshow 1.7 modulo and it seems to be working ok….also joomlaworks video and audio plugins as well…..have not tested photo galeries…...

I think the language problem might be the utf-8 problem of PHP DOM . functions.php file has a workaround for this problem. While I was developing tests were good even with Arabic and Tamil, but never tested with Spanish. Sorry. Now I tested with Spanish and couldn’t reproduce the problem.

The preview uses sigplus image gallery plugin with a little hack. If you like to use it, open plugins/content/sigplus/engines/boxplus/popup/js/boxplus.min.js and change

s=c("body") to s=c(".sigplus-gallery")

I tried some other gallery plugins but only sigplus was working as expected. If the component or module is written with no-conflict issues, they should work without problems.

When I click the “Home” icon that shows up in the top left, it tells me “Error Loading Page”. But, the Home menu item works.

Also, is there a way to remove the “Back” button?

Finally, is there a way to make the logo at the top link back to Home?

Thanks!

Thanks for purchasing. Can you open joobile/index.php and change the codes between <header></header> to

                <?php if ($menu?>getActive() !== $menu->getDefault()): ?>
                <a href="<?=JURI::base( true );?>" data-icon="home"><?php echo JText::_( 'TPL_JOOBILE_HOME' ); ?></a>
                <?php endif; ?>
                <?php if($document?>params->get('logo')): ?>
                    <h1><a href="<?=JURI::base( true );?>"><img src="<?php echo $document->baseurl . '/' . $document->params->get('logo'); ?>" alt="<?php echo $document->params->get('sitetitle'); ?>" /></a></h1>
                <?php else: ?>
                    <h1><a href="<?=JURI::base( true );?>"><?php echo $document?>params->get('sitetitle') ? $document->params->get('sitetitle') : $app->getCfg('sitename'); ?></a></h1>
                <?php endif; ?>
                <?php if($this?>countModules('joobile-header')) : ?>
                    <div class="joobile-header">
                           <jdoc:include name="joobile-header" type="modules" style="none" />
                    </div>
                <?php endif; ?>

and let me know if the error persists.

The above did not work for me, Below did>>>>>

<h1><a href="<?=JURI::base( true );?>"><img src="<?php echo $document->baseurl . '/' . $document->params->get('logo'); ?>" alt="<?php echo $document->params->get('sitetitle'); ?>" /></a></h1>

I have loaded the template and using MobileJoomla I have set it to show when a mobile phone views the site, but the template does not appear to be showing any CSS . I see text for back button but not much else even though I have menu set for header.

Hi sterfry. Would you mind if you send me your login information? Let me know when to business is closed so I can take the site offline. Use the email form in my profile page to send the details.

Hi sterfry.

The solution is simple. Open plugin manager. Find System – jQuery++ Integrator. Click it, you will see “Embed jQuery”. Select “None”.

By the way, I’m not sure what does this plugin stands for. No problem occurred when the plugin is disabled. But if your are sure some component or module needs it, disabling or selecting “none” may not be appropriate.

Hope this solves your problem.

Hi VPDGLLC

Sorry I couldn’t understand what you mean. Are you asking a homepage with apple style icons? If so, you may create an article and add icons using WYSIWYG editor.

Hi grianta

I would like to support Joomla! 1.5 but the low sales indicate that doesn’t worth to spend time on it.

I am starting to get an error where all my pages are “undefined”. I also cannot see any items added to modules etc on the pages. I wish I could tell you what I did, but I am not sure.

Just adding menu links, etc.

Here is the site, I am working on it right now: http://davescarcareaz.com/.

Please ignore my last note, Problem solved

Hi Ency,

Could you install this for me on my website/server? I would need to install joomla and I would like to add my logo to the website so you may need to play with the psd, I also like the idea of users being able to change the skin, slide type. Thats pretty cool.

I am not a joomla person so I would appreciate it if you could help me.

I will pay you of course for the work. Would you be interested?

Or if anyone else is interested let me know. My preference to give credit to the author :).

Many thanks.

Hi rdekker,

Thanks for purchasing Joobile.

I checked your site and it seems that something crashes joomla and it can not process jdoc statements.

If the taptheme plugin causes the error, you can use mobilejoomla plugin to switch between templates.

And please check error logs to find the problem. You can reach them using control panel or ftp.

Problem solved, it was the Taptheme template chooser plugin. Thanks for your help.

The site is almost running, but I have a problem with the “Home” button. When I press it I see in the apache log a 404 error. It tries to go to: “http://www.test.bcvirtus.com/index.php/one of the menu items of the mobile site”. “one of the…” is every time different, it depends where I press the “Home” button. The “Back” button works without a problem.

Hi rdekker

Nice to know you solve the problem. About 404 error, please open /templates/joobile/index.php and find
<a href="&lt;?= $document->baseurl; ?&gt;/"
and change it to
<a href="<?=JURI::base( true );?>"
Let me know if the problem persists.

I’ll upload a fixed version asap.

Hi Ency,

I’ve changed it as you wrote but the problem still persists. But I get now an error page: Object not found, the requested url was not found on this server….

It still tries to open an page, based on a alias

Apache: “GET /%3C?=%20JURI::base(%20true%20);%20?%3E HTTP /1.1” 404 1284 “http://www.test.bcvirtus.com/index.php/deze-week-test” “Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5 _0_1 like Mac OS X ) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A405 Safari/7534.48.3”

“deze-week-test” is an alias from a menu item

I borrowed a blackberry 8520, which is a current model, and it seems this device doesn’t support the mobile theme (lack of html5 support). So I thinks it doesn’t make sense for me to continue with this template. The main reason to switch to this template was to support the BB (the production site already supports iPhone and android, the taptheme templates)

hi rdekker,

I tested the site on a blackberry device, everything was alright. 8520 has a fairly old browser lacks html5 support. New blackberry phones have webkit based browsers and joobile will run smoothly on them. You can see supported browser list here:

Hi rdekker,

Well, simple but not the best solution is to change the
<a href="&lt;?= $document->baseurl; ?&gt;/"
to
<a href="http://www.myhomepageurl.com"

rdekker Purchased

Thanks Ency,

I’ve changed it and it works. The mobile site is working fine on the iPhone. If I choose a menu and within the submenu and item it shows the information.

If I do the same on an Android phone than it doesn’t show the item which belongs to a submenu item. It only shows every time that submenu.
