Hi, I’m using the theme with version 3.9.1 of Word Press The problem is that. I can not view the contents of the options in the admin panel. I need you tell me a solution. Should I make any special configuration of PHP or something like that?

I’m very interested in this theme. However, I think the circle with the icons inside are a bit pixelated, I’m seeing it in every screen, is it intentional ?

They are a bit pixelated because they have 1px border. You can increase the border with if you want to get rid of pixelated view. Let me know if you want it, so I can provide you some codes and you can simple paste them to the “custom css” box in the theme options panel.

Yep that would be great ! Is it possible to customize the social bar with my own icons ? Or with another social widget ?

If you want your own social icons, you have to use another plug-in for that!

Hi, I’m finding the image slider bg in the sidebar is running too fast. I want to slow it down. Assume I can adjust in the JS?

I tried that but it didn’t seem to make any difference…. but thank you will try again. Beautiful theme by the way! Have enjoyed working on it.

Ahhh, I had to change it quite a bit to have an effect. I changed it to 3000 and its a good speed now.

From limited time using this theme have found some big flaws and issues which posting here below:
  • Gallery Posts: Can’t reorder images
  • Gallery/Image Posts: bad cropping and no way to view full size image
  • Gallery Page: popup doesn’t allow to navigate to other photos on page
  • Gallery Page: Be aware that there is no image processing. If you upload mix of 100kb – 4Mb files that is what will display on fronted and expect slow image load if you had a 8mb photo uploaded.
  • Gallery/Image Posts: no support for portrait photos, just end up with badly cropped image
  • If background image is single image still loads as a FlexSlider which unnecessarily increases page load speed
  • Gallery/Image Posts: No option to display caption for photos
  • Having sidebar scroll separately from main page means most visitors miss seeing content in sidebar that is off screen. Had to apply CSS fix to remove this.
  • Gallery/Image Posts: Responsive scaling is bad and crops photos width when should resize height/width equally

It appears that Journal is having problems with Wordpress 4.0. Will there be an update to support that version? Thanks

Hello, the title of my site does not appear instead of the logo “Journal”. Thanks for help!

Also is it a way to change the size of typography of the description of the site? I tried to make it by “theme style settings” and even in the css on .site-description class and this does’nt work.

Unfortunately Journal doesn’t support “text logo”, as in; you have to add image logo. About typography, you can add the custom css like this:

#sidebar .site-description p
