Hi, thanks i like your theme.. Open index.php from the root directory of your setup and paste this single line of code around line 220.

$controller->addPreAction(new Action(‘module/journal_cp’));

but when i opened my index.php file i got the line number as :

// Cart

$registry->set(‘cart’, new Cart($registry));

// Encryption

$registry->set(‘encryption’, new Encryption($config->get(‘config_encryption’)));

// Front Controller

(436 line should i have to add here the line of code which you mentioned in the documentation instead of line 220)

Hi, line 220 refers to a clean install of OpenCart with an unmodified index.php file. If your index file has been altered the line requirement may have shifted. In any case, you should paste it right after:

Thanks! I enabled the option country/currency drop down.. Hi, you don’t see any language options if you don’t have more than one installed. You need to install the French or any other languages first before you can choose one. Same with the currency…These aren’t related to the theme itself, but are rather general OpenCart issues. Absolutely love your theme and I’ve purchased a lot of Opencart themes trying to find one that can be updated and customized to give the look and feel of a new site with every change. So thank you again.

Question: When viewing on a mobile device I noticed that my Facebook like box doesn’t show up. However, when I view your demo on my same iPhone your facebook like box shows up without a problem. What am I doing wrong that my box doesn’t show up?

I seem to be having a issue maybe with the images on the front page? I would like for the featured images to be a little larger? Is this possible, i try to change it in the settings but nothing works?

Actually, i was able to fix this. It was the featured module that was set to 80px. So thank you for a great theme, this is a very beautiful theme!! And amazingly easy to edit!!

I’ve bought templates from here before and they created many issues that the template developers have been unwilling to address and the OC extension developers have had to do more work, which has not been fun for anyone. I had to make sure that this was not the case with you guys and this template.

Hi, thanks, there may still be incompatibilities with third party modules, especially css issues, but all functionality should be there. We’ve had to modify some structures in order to achieve the look on this theme but we haven’t touched any core files. Thanks!

What do you mean? Those are all different skins based on the same design, you can pick and choose whichever one you like, they’re all included in the theme.

I like the fact that you have integrated Blog Manager compatibility into the theme. Nice. This means that I don’t have to install Wordpress separately and deal with compatibility and integration issues there. Again, nice, very nice.

One final question. Does the theme have multi-store compatibility?

@ aj5r1gg / all, I am highly/fully recommend for this great Author and this themes, I have a bad experience with another Author with zero support, the respond somehow can delay for at least 3 weeks or even more than 1mth+...

Hi, I bought and downloaded the themeforest.net journal premium responsive open cart application, but dont have any idea which file to point to for wordpress to upload the theme? Im running windows not Mac. Help?

Hi, this isn’t a WordPress theme. This is an OpenCart theme and does not work with Wordpress.
You need to install OpenCart system on your server http://www.opencart.com/, then install the Journal theme on top.

So far so good. I like this theme more and more….. :) One suggestion though in case you would be including new capabilities into the theme at some point in time. Wonderful if your control panel/module could include a section where manufacturer information/image can be added, that’ll be just awesome. I can get a separate 3rd party module, but it would be great if the theme came with this capability so that I don’t have to hack any code or install another extension. But no worries, it’s just a wish-list! :)

I guess if you can make top menu drop down little more fancy and pleasing then it would be really great.

Hi, dropdown animations are not possible right now as the multiple level menu can get really complex (if you have lots of subcategories) and we opted for performance and speed.

There is no support for this theme. I purchased this theme and had problem on installation and created two tickets and none of them got responsed. I am not sure I should use this for my store. What happened if it having problem and who am I going to ask. Don’t waste your money.
