Great theme! I haven’t been able to find a way to disable the slideshow functionality in my portfolios. I want to make it so that the viewer can change the images at their pace. Is this possible?
hi cc, you mean disabling autoplay on portfolio?
Yes. When I open one of the portfolios in theater mode, the slideshow automatically begins. I would like the option to disable that functionality.
hi, there is no easy way to do it, but if you want to change the code, you can go to :
1. jphotolio folder > js > jeglio.full.js and copy it to jeglio.js
2. on jeglio.js, go to line 278, and change slideshow to false.

hi fotoindalo, i think you should move your domain from the start you moving your hosting. or you can ask your hosting to move all of your installation to new server.

Hello I don’t know if you answered this already… I’m having trouble with my locations.
I created 3 different locations and they were working perfectly… all of the sudden the locations erased and they don’t display on the contact page anymore. So I re-created them again and checked everything to see it they were working correctly and indeed they were again just like i wanted them, but after a couple hours they disappeared again. I haven’t erase any files nor the location, nor reset anything. I don’t know whats going on.

hi juan, try to disable your plugin, and check if those problem still exist. some plugin may have conflict with location.

yes but you should change the code also. the best way is to replace social image (which is sprite image), and change it to what you need.

hi gaude, yes but it will make your portfolio look very bad. you can give container width within jeglio ID. like this one :

got 2 questions…. I have been trying to upload my logo, however its way to big for the space provided…what the dimensions it should be and for the front slider images, what is the dimensions for that as well, since my photos are coming blurry…besides that I am finally getting the hang of this template and cant wait to finish my site..

1. you have 2 size of header. you can use bigger menu for this case. unfortunately if your menu is much bigger, i think you should resize your menu to fit container.

I love this theme. I’ve been using it for months with my wedding site and recently started building my event photography site with it, but i’m experiencing a big problem. When I click on a portfolio item for some reason instead of opening the images in that item it opens another page called services, which I created to describe what I offer my. Everything looks good in the URL except for some weird reason ‘portfolio’ is being replaced by ‘services’. Does anyone have an idea on what’s going on?? Thanks!

hi siusang, if your hosting not so fast, i will recommend you to use inline expanded mode instead of theather expand mode. theather expand mode will regenerate image base on your user monitor size. it need quite alot resource especially if your image is big.

Do you plan on releasing and update on this theme? If so could I suggest one feature?
In the portfolio, on Inline Expanded Mode the portfolio item selected always expand in square proportions (1:1 ratio) well actually is more of a (6:5 ratio). So for the portrait pictures this aspect ratio doesn’t work very well since it zooms the photo to the center of the image and cuts everything else out.
I have two possible solutions for this:
1) Have the ability to select the aspect ratio of the expanded portfolio item. (Width and Height) instead of just height. 2) Set the images to automatically move in a subtle way (like a scan) so it shows everything in the picture.
Anyways it is definitely one of my favorites themes all around. And so easy to manage. Great work!
hi juan, yes i also think about that when the first i create this themes. but i come toconclusion that if i want to make tiles aligned well, i need to provide option like what you have right now.
btw you can setup your image width of item and height of inline expanded mode, with all of those combination you will have your expanded portfolio size just like what you want.

I could not figure out, how to deactivate clicking on those parent items in the main menus though. In your sample page clicking on the parent pages Portfolio and Pages does nothing and I like that, since one would navigate through the child pages anyway. When clicking on my parent pages some empty default templates open up and I have no idea how to deactivate it. Did I just make some basic Wordpress mistake or didn’t I find a checkbox in your back end or something?

when you creating menu, take a look at top right, you will see Screen option button. click it and check custom link. On custom link box, you have 2 input, on URL input give it (#). it will make your menu unclickable.

Currently the blog page. But I want to have a black background on every page other then contact and front slider. I have been in the style/color option under blog, but nothing seems to change even if I change blog background to purple, it just stays white.
I am also curious id there a way to put more space between the header and first post. My logo blocks part of the posting? Thanks for the help.

Is there a way to add space to the top of the blog or any page so it does not interfere with the logo. As the screen gets smaller the logo becomes overwritten. Thanks
