hi ashely, for front slider, you have 3 option where your image need to being placed. on Top / Middle (center) or bottom. its really depend on your image. if you don’t want your image being cropped, you can also have those option on admin panel.
Hi, I already watched the video you send me, but I didn`t find the final folder, I think. Help me please, I`m not an expert. So, I unzipped the file “themeforest-2820793-jphotolio-responsive-wedding-photography-wp-theme”, there are a folder “Jphotolio-bundle”, inside it there are these folders: “documentation”, “html”, “license”, “navigation”, “photoshop-file” and a zip file “Jphotolio_v3.0.0.zip”, I tried to upload it, It doesn`t work. So, I unzipped it, and there are no zip files. Then, I tried to upload a zip file “Jphotolio.zip” inside the “html” folder, it doesn`t work. I tried to upload both folders into my FTP, it doesn’t work as well. I don`t know what to do now.

hi hohnwils. its quite easy actually. when you creating portfolio item or image gallery page, on right side you have Publish box. click on edit (visibility) and change it to password protected.

Hi, is there any more documentation that is available? Or video tutorials?
I have a site where I would like to use this theme. The only thing I need is to be able to as easily as possible upload image galleries with as few clicks as possible, and preferebly allow people to comment on the page.

hi anhede, When you download the file, you will need to extract those zipped file. you will get documentation folder and find file named as index. Double click those file, and Documentation will show on your browser.

hi anhede , when you creating image gallery for your post, take a look at “ATTACHMENT DISPLAY SETTINGS”, and find Link to, those value must setted to mediafile instead of attachment page. Thank you

The read more button doesn’t appear because “Static page ” is checked in Settings instead of “last articles”. What is the way to fix it, because I want to stay with the static page like the theme…

1. the only option on this themes is disabled right click. actually there is no code that can protect your themes to be downloaded.
2. touch icon for apple? you can read the documentation how to add touch icon. on documentation > 3. Build Your Website > 3.1. Setup Logo & Icon > 3.1.2. Setup Touch Icon
3. When you creating portfolio page, you have those option on the bottom of your page. documentatoin > 3. Build Your Website > 3.5.3. Setup Page for Portfolio
4. you don’t need to use captha on your contact. contact already protected, there is only people who send it from those contact that able to send message. so it will need to be a human to send the message. i get about 500 hit everyday. and i never get spammed. its always human who send me message. never a machine.
If you asking about how to create website like demo site, its actually already covered on documentation. read it, you will find almost everything. also on admin panel, i always add small description. and almost all question here actually already available on documentation, including your question. also on documentation, i already give reference that you will need to understand about wordpress, and if you have grip on wordpress that it will be very easy for you to set this themes.

Hey JEG, just a couple more easy ones for you. I have already attempted to tweak these settings, but no luck. Could you please help ?
1. Change .item-icon-next and previous to dark arrows, for portfolio’s. Default is white, and using a white background. Ok for landscape images, not ok for portrait style images, cannot see white <prev and next> icons. I attempted to changeline 615 is style.css to point to
"img/glyphicons-halflings.png"Instead of the default white png, but that did not help2) Force internal links to open in new blank window with Curtain Effect ON – All internal links will not load new (blank) window if curtain is on.

I’m sorry but that article wasn’t helpful. I have the theme installed, but there is no place to upload a header. I also have seen some thread about changing the lace trim to straight by uploading under style/color option, but I don’t see any place to upload a file. I don’t see any where to upload a back ground image. I uploaded an image in a post and its not there. I am really frustrated cause I read on here how simple this was and its proving very difficult. Anyway you can help. I have used WP before and feel pretty comfortable. Help! Thank you!

what do you mean about failed? its working fine on m side. if you change configuration, you will need delete previous touch icon, or it will not work as expected.

Hello, I had created few portfolios (child, men, women) and the same pages as a child menu from “portfolio”, but all this portfolios are displaying there. I would like to have at the “women”Page just the “women” portfolio- only this one Gallery-portfolio and so long. How can I do this? Should I work with portfolio categories?-but I don’t know how does it work:)

yes, you should define at least one category for each portfolio item you have. and for your case, you will need to have 3 portfolio page. and on every page you need to exclude category that not related to those page category. than you will have one page that only contain one category.

hi saimax, you need to have 2 kind of file. one is MP3, and other is OGG that you convert from those MP3. you need to CONVERT it , not only change the extension. and put both of file when you creating music list.
