There are only 2 predefined themes light & dark with unlimited element color variation. Of course you can put white as background, just make sure it goes fine with the rest of the website.

Indeed, you will have to edit the mobile version too. It’s not complicated at all, you will have to add just the minimal information that there’s needed. Also if the user wants to see the full desktop version of the website, he will have the link in the footer of the mobile version so there’s no information lost at all.

And about the link, yes, the user will be redirected to www.yourwebsite.com/mobile/ and if he wants to see the full version he’ll just click on the footer’s link which will add a cookie and redirect him to www.yourwebsite.com . Simple as that.

Well, you can try adding a data-rel=”prettyPhoto” to the link inside the slider, with a target on a video from vimeo/youtube and it will open the video in a lightbox pop-up which is much better and safe than loading the video right inside the slider (most sliders won’t stop the video). I really recommend this method.

I raise my hat off, thank you very much for your kind words. Your suggestion is really good, i will try expanding to a boxed version too, and in regards for a wordpress version, already agreed with a great author here to convert it, i’m guessing around january next year, hope that’s ok

In regards to the mobile responsive part, just replied to a comment a few minutes ago, i’ll just quote it here:

Hey there, nope, not kidding at all. I actually never stated anywhere it’s a responsive mobile theme, on the contrary on the item description i stated clearly it’s a Mobile separate version (not responsive) , a separate one, which is in fact a much better solution than a responsive version.

And let me tell you why. In most of the cases a responsive layout for mobile has most of it’s content just hidden (blocks of code, scripts, css style-sheets, images etc) but it will still load in the background, meaning it will be much more slow loading, which is actually ironic, because a mobile version must be minimal and fast loading. Also most users tend to forget about an opt out version for people who consider using the desktop version.

A separate mobile dedicated theme it will be minimal, fast loading, ajaxed, jquery mobile based, optimised images and so on, there’s tons of advantages. For example take a look at this category http://themeforest.net/category/site-templates/mobile where you can see what true mobile version are.

I’ve actually left 2 options for the mobile part. One that’s the desktop version (which is perfectly adapted for smartphone) and a mobile version which is the dedicated one. Before taking this decision i’ve documented quite some time to find the perfect solution, and i can honestly say this is. I’m sure you just tried to resize the browser, once again this i also wrong, it’s not good to do that, instead try scanning the QR Code with you smartphone or access this link directly http://hogash.com/demo/kalypso_html/_app/iphone_frame.html . In both cases it looks good. Trust me, i’ve provided several ways for the mobile/idevices part, which are much more premium and recommended than a lazy and unstable responsive version.

If you want, we can have a discussion about this and i’m more than happy to share my opinions and recommendations for the mobile part.

I’d also point out that i’ve taken part of debates on this matter. Mobiles with better and bigger resolutions are coming out on markets and soon this responsive for mobiles trend will fade. Media queries weren’t meant for mobiles (or better say, for a fully responsive mobile layout).

Trust me, i’ve thought about the mobile part a lot, and i taken the best decision by providing a stable mobile dedicated version of the template (also a perfectly optimized desktop version, adapted for mobile).

Maybe it was my fault, I read fast “RESPONSIVE” // MULTIPURPOSE // HIGHLY-PREMIUM TEMPLATE, and I though it was also mobile responsive, then I saw your demos and my first impresion of your desktop version was simply impressive, but then I saw your mobile version and it was simple depressive, and I definitely don’t like mobile version instead of responsive versions, but that’s not the reason of my coment.

As a designer and business man I try to find an equilibrium between a good first impresion and a good code, and sometimes a good code isn’t a warranty of a good impresion and vice versa.

In the world of brands, the basics are about creating brand recognition under different conditions.

In this case I see your mobile version maybe like a good code, but so boring appearance and like a diferent website. (Hide the logo at the mobile version and there is not something else strong enough that can relate it with the main desktop version). It loses consistency, causes less brand recognition and in my case also causes a terrible first impression.

Most of my customers don’t care about how it was made and I know there are a lot of people who has different tastes, different kind of customers or uses for this kind of themes but I don’t think is a good idea to make a big discussion about this topic because we have clearly different points of view:

I’m talking about make “a strong brand” and you’re talking about technical advantages.

It’s good to share ideas even though they were because of my misreading of your ad.

Yes, a wp version is planned by the beginning of February most certainly. Yes, you will receive all the sliders that you see in the demo so basically you could switch them as you wish
