I would like to purchase this theme. The videos all show a fresh install, but I have a blog with a lot of content. Are there any potential problems that I should be aware of, and are there any compatibility issues with the plugin ‘wordpress seo’ by Yoast? Thanks Deano
Hey Deano,
Please see our other response for your question about Yoast SEO Plugin.
As per an existing website, everything will install and run smoothly for you. You will just need to be mindful of page templates throughout your theme.
Your current theme is going to have different page templates than our themes so you will need to go into each page and re-choose your desired page template.
Hope this helps.
Cheers my friend
Thanks for the two replies. I was expecting to have to do that, but if that;’s all there is to do, I’m happy. Thanks Again
Okay, I took the plunge. Your theme is my first purchase at TF. I think I liked the looks of this one better than the Sterling theme from the beginning but when I first saw it awhile back it was not responsive. Now that it is, I just can’t settle for anything else. Hopefully it will look as good on my website as your demo does here.
Awesome. You rock! We truly appreciate your support.
Cheers
Hello—just purchased this theme, and went looking for the Tutorial on Vimeo (mentioned in the Documentation) but the link is old. Do you have a new link? I need some more details on setting up the homepage slider. Thanks!

Yes, thanks. It will be better for me.
Hi,
Bought this theme yesterday, had some trouble installing but finally figured it out. Had some issues and simply deleted the theme and tried to do a brand new clean install. After few minutes, got a server error message. Ok. waited a few and then retried. This time, got the theme to start installing and received a message that the zip was unpacking. It has stayed there for over 10 minutes and seems to be hung up. When I refreshed my page, went to installed themes tab and said Karma was there but incomplete. Missing css style sheet. So I followed the installation instruction and videos you refer to and again, same thing. Any thought? I’e prefer to uninstall and try again later but doesnt even seem I can do that.
P.S. The installed themes tab reflects:
The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template.
“Name
Description
Karma
Stylesheet is missing.”
Hi There,
It sounds like you are perhaps trying to install the entire download package rather than the theme itself?
The download package includes a variety of files such as source artwork, documentation, licensing info, etc.
If trying to install all of these items rather than only the theme it will come back with error.
Here’s an article from our HelpDesk outlining details about this common mistake: https://support.truethemes.net/?knowledgebase=theme-install-failed-the-theme-is-missing-the-style-css-stylesheet
Please feel free to submit a ticket on our HelpDesk if you are still running into installation issue and we are glad to help you out.

Update done, theme now looks great, I fell in love again in this template
After the update I have problems with widgets, it worries me a little because I do not know where to look for a reason – I mean I can not make any changes in the widgets.
thanks Raf.

In the “Custom Social Networks” the Google+ image is not displaying. It has the link but it is invisible, any ideas how to fix this?
I found a work around, you can disregard that last message. It is a bug but it just needs an image to be associated with google in the CSS:
.social_icons .google {background:url( ... needs an image) no-repeat;}
Hey my friend,
Thanks so much for the heads up. We really appreciate it. We will include this fix.

I upgraded wordpress to 3.5 and then this theme to 3.0, and guess what, my entire homepage stopped working. I could not figure it out, i could not do a rollback because I was a retard and did not do a full backup, i wasted two days messing around, went to wordpress, they said it has to be the theme, i was at my wits end. I then went to truethemes support and by god those fellas are on the ball, they resolved my issue within a few hours of posting my ticket, then pointed out what was wrong (server php did not support an xml function required for tweets, yah like that was my next guess) and provided me with modified files and explanation and basically SAVED MY ASS!!!!! Great guys, awesome template, wicked customer service, 10 out of 10!!!
Thanks so much for your kind words! It’s truly our pleasure serving you. We’re so glad you’re all up and running.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Cheers
Can you put a left nav on the home page?
Hi There,
Thank you so much for your interest in Karma.
Currently a homepage + left nav is not an available page template. You can however customize your theme by combining the two page templates into your own custom page template to best suit your needs. (please note that this will require basic knowledge of Wordpress, HTML, CSS)
Please give us a shout if there’s anything else we can do to help.

Thanks, customer is not big on change. There are questions I can’t answer without seeing the template backend itself and I would really like to see it first. I noticed one seller was offering 30 day trials, something I’ve not seen on ThemeForest before (‘course I’m rarely there). Is there some way I can see it more closely? Don’t need 30 days though! Thanks.
Hi There,
Very sorry but we do not have a trial offer for our products at this time.

I upgraded wordpress a couple days ago and now none of my images are working in the shortcode with images or homepage jquery. WTH?

SIDEBAR PROBLEM: Hi, firstly I love your theme. checkout my website here: http://http://theimagehouse.co.za . My question is, how do I add a sidebar on the same side as a nav bar? when I select Left Nav + Sidebar, the sidebar appears on the opposite side – I want it the same side UNDER the nav bar. How do I do this. Please see the image attached.
Hi – I figured it out.
The trick was selecting HIDE SUB NAVIGATION on the right side but also making a custom menu and adding it to the sidebar as a widget.
perfect !
Excellent! So glad to hear you’re all sorted!

Hello, Just one quick question, because the License Terms here at Theme Forest are not quite clear to me. Can I use a regular license to have the theme both in the root domain of my client’s website and in a subdomain as well, or do we need to purchase a second license for that? Thank you very much in advance.
Please disregard this. I just found the answer in the Knowledge Base. Sorry, and thanks again.
Hi There,
Thanks so much for your Karma interest.
The Regular License is valid for a single website or domain. If you have 2 domains/subdomains pointing to the same exact website that 1 license is perfectly all good to go.
If you have 2 domains/subdomains pointing to 2 different websites (ie both using Karma theme but have different content) than a separate license will be required for each website.
I hope this is helpful for you.
Please give us a shout if there is anything else we can do to help.
Cheers
Hi,
I have just discovered that the “Add Media” button is not working with Karma when trying to embed an image in a WordPress post. I switched back to the standard twenty-twelve theme and I was able to post an image. As soon as I went back to Karma it stopped working again. I will reinstall Karma to see if that solves the problem. Any advice on this issue?
Thanks, Rich
