The demo content is not an exact replica of the live preview site. There are many content pages used in the live demo site that are unnecessary for your installation. Instead we provide all of the primary pages that make it super easy to get a website up and running. (blog, contact, homepage, etc)

Hi my friend,

Yes the homepage slider is indeed resizeable however this is not built into the theme by default. It will require some coding customizations to achieve your desired results. (most likely can be achieved with only CSS modifications)

Hey,

I have imported the XML doc as in the tutorial videos have done it, however, it just goes through the document with messages like “failed to import this” and the site doesn’t change at all. I have also noticed a lot slower response time since the upload of the theme on the site, could it possibly be timing out the upload?

Hi – Very nice theme. I see you have a number of color options built in. You say mix and match, but if I wanted to set my own master color style to match corporate standards, would that be possible?

Also, can the height of the slider be changed easily? And can videos be embedded?

Thanks so much for your interest in Karma.

In terms of setting your own master stylesheet you can achieve this one of two ways. The easiest way is to simply choose na existing color scheme and modify it’s CSS file to meet your corporate standards. The other option is to use the Karma Child Theme (included for free with Karma) and create a whole new stylesheet which will override the look/feel of chosen color scheme.

As per the slider height, this can be done easily however it does require knowledge of CSS and depending on specific requirements it may require image creation.

Hi there, thank you for a great theme! very impressed

I have a question regarding the way my posts are working…

I have a page that receives posts from a category and is setup using the template for a 2 column portfolio, it works fine in that it receives the posts, however is there a way to not display the entire post and “hide” some of it until the user clicks “continue reading” or something to that effect as the post extends very far down my page

I have already purchased the html version of this theme and I love it – however one quick question before I get the wp version – sorry if anyone else has asked – 86 pages of comments you need a search box just to view all the questions. Anyway my question is how compatible is this with woo commerce – have any users already tested it and are there any problems or glitches when using woo commerce with karma? Thanks

We’re not currently available for customization work so you’ll need to implement this slider yourself. If you run into any theme-related questions along the way we can absolutely help you in the right direction.

Please note that the Layer Slider plugin is going under an overhaul by it’s author. They are re-building the admin section to make it a more usable plugin. Once this new version is released we plan to include as part of the default Sterling theme. Perhaps you can wait until the new plugin is released? (no date yet from author?)
