Sterling and Karma have very similar back-end functioning so it really comes down to which design is better suited for your organization. Karma has been used for any churches and non-profits so perhaps this is the right option for you as well?

I like the Karma Wordpress theme, but I have not been able to see the training vidoes about it. I also wanted to know if I could put pdf’s onto the site to show our products. We also require the site to be in English, French and Dutch is it posible. Finally and excuse my cheek for asking so many questions is the site responsive?
Anyone out there who knows this please advise it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much for your Karma interest. As per your questions:
1. Yes you can upload PDF ’s and list them anywhere throughout your site.
2. Yes Karma is fully compatible with the popular WPML plugin that will allow for english, french and dutch translation: http://wpml.org
3. No Karma is not currently responsive though it renders perfectly on mobile devices.

I saw the two sliders that come with your theme but unfortunately my client isn’t too thrilled about the two options.
Is it possible to change the slider?
If so, how would you recommend to do this?
And would any of the sliders from codecanyon work?

Yes you can indeed change the slider to that of a 3rd-party plugin. The exact implementation procedure will depend on how the plugin is built and what your specific needs are.
In most cases the slider plugin will generate a shortcode which you will simply insert into the page to display the slider. In some cases the most work you’ll need to do is modify one of the homepage templates to replace our 1 line of slider code with some code required by the plugin.

Very nice template. Before I present this to my Client, I need to know a couple things. 1) Is this responsive? and 2) Anyway I can have the same animation for the 3D slider without having to use Flash on the back end? I prefer to not have any Flash for Mobile viewing purposes.

1) No Karma is not currently responsive design.
2) Yes the 3D CU3ER comes with a “JavaScript Fallback” option which displays a javascript verison of the slider rather than flash. The animation is “as close as possible” to the flash version. You can learn more about Cu3ER JavaScript version here: http://getcu3er.com/javascript

Thanks for the quick response! The JavaScript isn’t that bad at all. What about adding sound/music throughout all the pages and have it continuously play if possible without resetting.
Those are the main 3 things I know my Client will ask, so I rather take care of it now before I see them.

I really love this theme. versatile and professional. I am running into 1 problem that I cannot fix yet. When a main menu item has multiple sub menues, it is possible to disable the click on the main menu? or have a page that shows parts of the submenu contents as a teaser?
Brainwave… solved it.. simply removing the url in the menu item does the trick

I have purchased this theme today and am having issues trying to install it on WP 3 .4.2 on a Network Solutions hosted site. At the end of the upload it fails every time it reaches 100%. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot?

I have a very strange problem. I just added to pages to my menu, but they only show in google chrome (The browser where I use to edit my website), but not in Firefox, IE etc..
I also made some changes on one of the pages but I have the same problem there.. Really strange. What should I do?
edit: I just logged in to the adminpanel on firefox and IE and after I had done that the changes applied to those browsers too. I asked my friend to look at his computer but no changes at his browsers..

Just thought I would share my experience with this theme and developer.
Karma is an amazing theme, love the layout and design. The back end (admin panel) is intuitive and simple to use, not to mention the step by step video tutorials on how to setup this theme.
In addition, the developer of this theme is responsive and very effective in assisting with basic customizations through their support site.
