I like the design and would be interested in purchasing.
However, in IE9 Compatibility View the homepage “jQuery 2” has a slight bug where it covers the top navigation.
Is there a simple way of fixing this issue?
Hi my friend,
We viewed in IE9 and things are rendering nicely on our end. Is it possible for you to send over a screenshot?
Thanks so much
Thanks for the quick reply!
Thanks so much my friend. We’re going to investigate this further and we’ll get back to you asap.
I passed this one onto our development team. They tested the site in IE9 and everything is rendering nicely. Perhaps you have “compatibility view” turned on? This can sometimes cause a rendering issue.
Please try to disable compatibility view and reload the page.
I need to build a web site that renders nicely in various browser resolutions on desktop PCs as well as on a tablet (no need for mobile device viewing at this point). Would the karma web template automatically resize or do I need to purchase a responsive template such as Sterling?
Hey my friend,
Thanks so much for your interest in Karma.
Karma is currently not a responsive design so things will not change when viewed on a mobile device. The website however will render seamlessly on all mobile devices.
Yes If you’re interested in a responsive design you can check out our Sterling template.
Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help.
I am having a problem extracting the files onto a network drive. What am I doing wrong?
We’re very happy to have a closer look and help you determine the cause for the issue. We’ll just need more details about what went wrong.

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. I ended up finding the issue on my end. It is all set and downloaded.
However, I do have one more question. I’m trying to create more space between the paragraphs on the slider. If I put in between, it is putting the break, BUT …the lines are basically sitting on top of one another. How do I increase the space between the lines?
Sure thing my friend. Please just see our previous response. Please submit a ticket on our HelpDesk so we can assist you most efficiently.
I really like your theme. Although I’m not sure If the website template is easy to manage instead of the wordpres one. Is the snippets code as easy to implement as in the wordpress, and is there more functionalities in the wordpress theme than the website template?
I also need to use iframes if i purchase the wordpress theme that’s why I hesitate in buying it since it would be better in this case to use the html/css template. What would you suggest in this case?
Thankds in advance,
Wordpress is by far a lot more powerful than an HTML /CSS template. The website is a lot more dynamic and a lot more easy to manage in the long run. That being said however if you don’t have any WordPress experience than the HTML /CSS version might be a better option for you.
Here is an article from our KnowledgeBase outlining some of the differences between Wordpress and HTML version:
Cheers my friend
Thanks for your response. I’ll go for the wordpress theme then
mobile css will be provided for this template in near future?
Yes we are currently working on a responsive version of this template. The HTML will remain the same and a stylesheet will be provided for responsive design layout.
Hi! Love your theme! How can I make the footer stick to the bottom?
Karma does not come with a sticky footer by default.
You’ll need to modify the theme’s HTML /CSS in order to achieve a sticky footer.
We’re not currently available for customization work however if you’re interested in hiring a developer for very affordable price we highly recommend to check out: http://www.wpquestions.com
I love this theme, it’s gorgeous and well designed. A quick question (apologies if it’s obvious), but using Index-video-left as Index page, I’d like to add an image as a placeholder for the video, as the video is slow to load (due to the size of video being used, which is as compressed as I can make it – not your fault, but ours). How do I add a placeholder image?
Yes indeed. When embedding a video you can set up a placeholder image within the image hosting service (ie. youtube or vimeo)
The placeholder settings will be within vimeo / youtube so you’ll simply embed the video on your website just as you normally would.
A google search for “youtube placeholder image” or “vimeo placeholder image” should get you well on your way.
Please feel free to reach out to us on our secure HelpDesk if you need any further assistance.
Love this theme… but whats the difference between the HTML version and the Wordpress version? which is the preferred method of creating webpages?
Thank you so much for your interest in Karma.
If you’re comfortable with Wordpress we highly recommend the Karma Wordpress version over the HTML version.
Both versions of Karma are absolutely great and both have the same options however the Wordpress platform is extremely powerful and will provide you with a much more rock-solid foundation. Wordpress is much more dynamic and has the ability for extending your website via Plugins, etc.
Karma Wordpress is much more of a “point and click” solution and will not require touching a single line of code.
Here’s an article on our KnowledgeBase that provides more information and should help you to better determine which Karma version is right for you:

I think that all users in this marketplace are waiting for responsive version!
Please give us a date!
We don’t have an exact release date but we’re just a few days away from the fully responsive version!
Please stay tuned.
Not sure if this is the correct place for this. Just wanted to make mention that I have purchased the Karma html theme. It is unbelievable for only $20, especially with the great and responsive helpdesk staff and their extensive and prompt services. I would definitely recommend TrueTheme products and their extremely helpful staff who have gone above and beyond to help resolve any issues I’ve had
Thank you so much my friend!
Your kind words honestly mean the world to us!
Thank you for letting us serve you.
I just purchased and I cannot get it to upload/install in Wordpress on justhost.com…??:
“Are you sure you want to do this?
Please try again.”
...is all it says when it times out.
I have tried a workaround by zipping the Karma-HTML file and uploading that, but then it says:
The package could not be installed. The style.css stylesheet doesn’t contain a valid theme header.
Theme install failed.
This is the Karma HTML Website Template which is not a Wordpress Theme. This template is HTML+CSS and cannot be used on the Wordpress platform.
The Karma Wordpress Theme version can be found here: http://themeforest.net/item/karma-clean-and-modern-wordpress-theme/168737
We’re very happy to compensate you for your HTML purchase after you’ve purchased Karma Wordpress Theme.
Here’s an article from our HelpDesk outlining how to receive a refund on the HTML version:
Paypal would not process my order for the Wordpress version? I just used the same card and there is plenty of money in the account! ugh.
Hmm very strange.
We don’t have any access to anything financial within the ThemeForest marketplace so we’re unfortunately unable to investigate this issue further for you.
You may perhaps need to contact the Envato Support Team to find out why the transaction could not be processed?

Please feel free to give us a shout if there’s anything we can do to be of assistance.
Does the HTML/CSS version have any code to actually make the search function work, or is it just a dummy submit button?
This template is only the HTML + CSS so there is not a built-in server-side script for search functionality.
You might be interested in the Karma Wordpress version for built-in search functionality: http://themeforest.net/item/karma-clean-and-modern-wordpress-theme/168737
I really appreciate the author of this theme. This is very good theme having so many color schemes and good representation.
You’re very welcome my friend. Thanks so much for your kind words!
Any update on the responsive version of Karma you said you were working on? Can you give an estimated completion date so I can decide if I want to wait or move on??
Yes sure thing. We’re unable to provide an exact date but the responsive Karma Wordpress version will very likely be available for download within 5 days.
We generally like to wait a week or so before updating the HTML version just in case any bugs have slipped through the cracks of our extensive testing.
We would like to purchase the Karma WP theme here art themeforest.net. We want to test it in a subdomain we have hosted at Blue Host, and if we are satisfied with the results, move it do the primary domain. Can we change domains and/or reinstall the theme with a single regular license without having to pay for it again?
Thank you very much in advance.
....please note that this message is posted in Karma HTML and Karma WP is located here: http://themeforest.net/item/karma-clean-and-modern-wordpress-theme/168737
Yes a single license will be perfectly valid for this scenario.
I am before purchasing.
Would like to know whether is it possible to change font faces and sizes in some simple way?
Thank you so much for your Karma interest.
Changing the font faces and sizes can be done very easily by making some minor adjustments to this templates main CSS file.
You can also add an unlimited amount of custom fonts using Google Web Fonts: http://www.google.com/webfonts
Hope this is helpful my friend. Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help.
Thank you, it helped.
Sorry, I just noticed that it is not the WP theme of Karma. How is the same issue with the WP version?
The Wordpress version is very easy to have custom fonts.
Karma Wordpress comes with powerful options panel that enables you to use Google Fonts anywhere throughout your website.
Hope this is helpful my friend.
I have a quick question on how to get the Search button to work correctly. How do I get it to work with my site pages?
The Search box is only there for visual starting point on creating your own search functionality.
Search functionality is generally database driven (PHP or ASP) so this is something that you will need to implement on your end.
Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help.
How do I take out the CAPTCHA in the request form?
We’re very happy to assist you my friend.
