Hell yep, just bought the set and from the first template, it doesnt work with forest green.css, sprite.png doesnt show up in the full width.html, the “top” link in the footer hops out when resizing browser, so sorry and no hard feeling but i’ve seen much better work here…and used also.

All i always need is freedom to use any size of images in title-images, in galleries etc. And handle the size of those with lets say, DIV’s.

(how about adding image inside of div class=”col_half” and it fits there nicely if CSS and respo has been done the right way)..

Then there is no hassle for me or the end-users on what sizes they have to upload/use in galleries, blog posts, service portfolios etc.

And flexible tables to “cover” up the images using those as “frames” for the images (just an example this one).

I went ahead and implemented another Theme for my site, so its late for it to use your nice theme anymore.

As per you really take your work seriously and make the themes almost perfect, create themes that are clean, with no “hundreds” of pages as per it comes to some theme sets. And focus on images/video handling in those templates. And money flows in :) (At least i havent seen so many CLEAN, yet powerfull set that has gallery/with the freedom, and blog/with the freedom.

Cheers and keep up the nice work, Respect!

TrueThemes

Sure thing my friend.

It’s difficult to provide specific solution without having more project parameters but please check out our thoughts below.

It sounds like the best option for fully flexible (height/width) image frames is to use CSS.

Please note that older browsers (>= IE8) do not fully support CSS3 so those browsers will show slightly watered-down version.

You could wrap your images is HTML like this:

<div class="custom_frame">
<div>
<img src="your-image-here" />
</div>
</div>

And the CSS can be something like this:

.custom_frame {
background: #E3E1E1;
position: relative;
border: 1px solid;
border-color: #cfcfce #9d9d9b #404040 #9d9d9b;
padding: 6px;
margin: 0 0 20px;
width: auto;
height: auto;
-webkit-box-sizing: border-box;
-moz-box-sizing: border-box;
box-sizing: border-box;
}

.custom_frame:after {
position: absolute;
z-index: -1;
content: "";
top: 50%;
bottom: 5px;
width: 90%;
left: 5%;
border-radius: 100%/20%;
-moz-border-radius: 100%/20%;
-webkit-border-radius: 100%/20%;
box-shadow: 0 15px 7px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2);
-moz-box-shadow: 0 15px 7px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2);
-webkit-box-shadow: 0 15px 7px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2);
}

.custom_frame > div {
width: auto;
height: auto;
display: block;
background: #fff;
border: 1px solid;
border-color: #5a5a59 #a0a09e #c9c9c7 #a0a09e;
position: relative;
margin: 0 auto;
}

Hi, and thanks for the idea, implement that into Karma as well? And i dont “care” anymore old browsers because its marginal (due to Google Analytics what i have followed the usage of the visitors at my site in the last 5 + years). And IE8 or older versions are in minor now-a-days. Anyhoo, when i use Karma, will contact if need some sort of help.

Respect!

Do you have any “dummy” data available to install so that my site looks like the demo site? Thanks!

TrueThemes

Yes sure thing my friend.

The Karma HTML Web Template comes as an exact replica of the online demo site.

Cheers :)

Considering to purchase this HTML version. Quick question: did you implement sortable image galleries (using isotope.js or similar)? Y

ou mentioned this would be the case in your earlier comments. but the demo doesn’t seem to show that. Thanks.

TrueThemes

Hi There,

Thanks so much for your Karma interest my friend.

The Karma Gallery pages do not currently have an isotope filtering feature. We are definitely considering adding this in future release.

Please feel free to give us a shout with any additional questions.

Hello, Could you please tell me where I can get the information on how to adjust the speed settings for the testimonial slider? I would also like to know how to set the slider so it won’t change until one of the buttons below is clicked on. I would like to give plenty of time to read the testimonial.

Love the template, nice work! Is there a boxed layout option available? I was browsing the demo earlier today and there was popup on the right side of the screen to change the primary/secondary colors, as well as viewing a boxed layout. However, the popup doesn’t seem to appear anymore.

TrueThemes

Yes sure thing my friend.

The online style preview is only viewable on the Karma Wordpress version.

For a boxed-layout you’ll simply need to wrap each page layout with the following div:

<div id="tt-boxed-layout">

</div>

How do I get rid of the counter discs that show up under the main slider on the jquery2 homepage? I can’t see any js which relates to it. Thanks

Actually, I’d rather you just answered the question properly. I registered on your site when I first bought this theme but the registration no longer works. I think that a simple answer is all that’s required and i shouldn’t have to waste more time getting it.

TrueThemes

Sure thing Brian.

You can add the following CSS to your theme to remove the jquery pagination discs:

.jquery-pager {display: none !important;}

I’ve been trying to convert a 2-column portfolio page to become filterable. It’s weird that any theme doesn’t include such a basic feature these days. I just can’t frig the page properly though. When are you likely to update Karma with a filterable gallery/portfolio?

TrueThemes

Hmm…there’s not a huge request for a filterable portfolio at this time so we’re unable to say for sure when this feature will be added. We’ll definitely look into this some more and consider adding it very soon to a future release of Karma.

In the meantime if you’re in need of professional custom coding assistance we’ve got 2 highly trusted partners for all of your Wordpress customization needs. WPQuestions.com and Codeable.io

Okay, well all I’ll say is that I’m not aware of more than a half-dozen html themes that don’t have filterable galleries/portfolios and which have been released in the past year or so. Maybe you don’t get many people ask for it because they buy one of the more recent themes.

Quite why you think I’d want wordpress customisation when I’m talking about your html theme, I don’t quite know. I did indeed look at your wordpress theme but couldn’t see any sense in buying it. If I’m honest, it looks dated and rather limited compared to most of the more recent themes, but then it has been on sale for what, 2 years?

Never mind, I’ll persevere with isotope and create what I want that way.

TrueThemes

Hi Brian,

Our apologies for the wordpress-related customize info. We thought your original post was related to the Karma Wordpress Theme. Our mistake.

We just want you to know that while we’re not available for the full on custom-coding work we’ve absolutely got your back and are here to assist if you run into any Karma inquiries during your isotope integration.

Be well my friend.

I’ve been using wordpress for quite some time, but an starting to outgrow it and would like to start exploring HTML. in your information page you said this was for HTML pros and beginners. With this would be my first HTML site I am not sure where I edit my site. Once I have the HTML template do I edit it in dreamweaver? Thanks!

TrueThemes

Hi There,

Yes this theme can be edited via Dreamweaver or any other code editor of your choice.

Please note that this template does not contain a “graphical user interface” like Wordpress for editing the theme so it’s recommended that you have a basic comfortability working with and building HTML/CSS code.

Please let us know if there’s anything else at all we can do to assist.

Where does it say in the product descripton that is has flash? Flash is useless as it doesnt work on safari which is 30% thereabouts of users and growing by the minute. Any ‘professional’ creating a Flash site for a client is not doing their job properly in my mind and needs to catch up to the times. The author should update their description to include flash and I would like my money back.

TrueThemes

Hi There,

Yes the CU3ER 3D Slider is a flash-based slider with a JavaScript Fallback for non-flash devices.

We’re very happy to provide a refund if you’re no longer interested in the Karma template.

Hello,

In the images folder, and referenced in previous css, there is a square picture frames sprite. However, although it was referenced in previous css it now is not. Why have you removed this? I have something like 60 pages using square images but I now realise the new css robs the images of frames and placement values.

This is not a ticket issue; I have resolved the problem myself. I was asking why you have deleted bits and pieces of the css. There is no common sense here; you have deleted the css (why, don’t you like square images?) but left the image sprites in the images folder.

When you provide ‘upgrade’ instructions you might like to tell people that their images will suddenly no longer have the required css values after the upgrade. Is that too much to ask?

TrueThemes

Hey Brian,

This was definitely never our intention during the upgrade.

If you don’t mind submitting a support ticket outlining your website URL we can take a closer look and our development team will gladly provide a fix right away.

Our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.

I can’t remember when it was exactly, but I sent you a message ages ago, last year some time, to advise you of coding errors on some of your pages. I notice that the pages still contain the same errors.

Do a global search for this: div class=”hr_shadow” /

(Brackets removed because otherwise the text vanishes)

Then submit all the pages containing this to the W3 checker and see what they say. To save you time, I’ll reprint it here:

Validation Output: 3 Errors Error Line 223, Column 25: Self-closing syntax (/>) used on a non-void HTML element. Ignoring the slash and treating as a start tag. div class=”hr_shadow” / /div

Error Line 376, Column 7: End tag for body seen, but there were unclosed elements. /body

Error Line 21, Column 18: Unclosed element div. div id=”wrapper”

(All the brackets have been removed otherwise themeforest obscures the text.)

As last time, these are from a virgin unzip. The page done above was template-leftnav but there are loads with the same mistakes. Luckily I remembered the solution and fixed it.

Next, and just for fun, take one of these pages and decide that you don’t want a grey line going across the page. Try deleting it and see where your footer parks itself. Around chin-height, I find.

Is this version for WordPress only? Do you have HTML version? I want to build my website using MVC.NET, so I need HTML version. If you have, please let me know so that I’ll buy it. Thanks :)

TrueThemes

Hi There,

So sorry to hear that the purchase is not working for you.

Unfortunately our hands are completely tied in this situation. All payments, orders and processing are handled by ThemeForest/Envato so we do not have any access to this functionality on our end.

Perhaps trying to re-start the computer or using a different web browser might have resolve the issue?

If still unable to process the purchase please feel free to reach out to the Envato Support team and they can get you all squared away: support.envato.com/

Please let us know if there’s anything else at all we can do to help.

Thanks so much

Default-user

I still can’t make a payment. May I buy it directly from you, not via ThemeForest/Envato?

TrueThemes

Really wish we could but unfortunately not my friend.

We are bound by contract with ThemeForest/Envato and are unable to sell our products outside of their ThemeForest marketplace.

Please kindly reach out to Envato Support and they should have no issues getting you all sorted.

Again please feel free to give us a shout if there’s anything else at all we can do to assist.

Thanks so much
