Very nice, though a great addition might be server side includes on the menus.

I’ve been playing with it a bit today and it should work out well for me thanks!

¿Is it possible to use the javascript version of CU3ER v1 3D slider in this theme?

Thanks.

TrueThemes

Hey There,

Unfortunately the JavaScript version of CU3ER works by generating some fairly complex javascript which is unique for each slider (number of slides, images used, etc.)

This means that there’s unfortauntely no way for us to include the CU3ER JavaScript version in this HTML template.

The Wordpress version of the Karma theme does however include the CU3ER JavaScript fallback for all sliders. (the custom required javascript gets auto-generated on the fly from the cu3er wordpress plugin)

The Karma Wordpress version can be accessed at: http://themeforest.net/item/karma-clean-and-modern-wordpress-theme/168737

I hope this information is helpful for you.

Cheers :)

Hi I can’t find Clean Modern Corporate Email Template But you say associated Clean Modern Corporate Email Template

TrueThemes

Hey There,

The Karma Email template is a separate product which can be found here: http://themeforest.net/item/karma-clean-modern-corporate-email-template/265475

I hope this is helpful for you.

Hey

Im new to this so this might be an odd question. I really like this layout, can I purchase this for an ecommerce website?

TrueThemes

Hey There,

Thanks so much for your interest in Karma.

No question is an odd question ;)

Karma is not specifically built as an E-Commerce theme, however you can indeed use it for E-Commerce purposes. Past customers have had great success using the Wordpress Cart66 Plugin in conjunction with the Karma theme: http://cart66.com/

Please feel free to give us a shout if you have any further questions at all.

Have a great day

Cheers :)

There are good themes and then there are great themes. This is a GREAT theme, one of the best I’ve had experience with through ThemeForest. Combine the excellent documentation with the customer support and it’s worth paying for twice! Well…maybe I wouldn’t go that far! :-)

Looking forward to what's next from TruThemes.

Thank you for the kind words my friend. We greatly appreciate it. :)

hi there, Amazing template. I am thinking of buying it soon for my business site, however I am confused whether should I be getting the wordpress version or html version. I have work with both in the past and more comfortable with using dreamweaver. However wordpress is quite easy to use; what are the significant differences?

Also, if a user is opening this site in a mobile phone, is there a way to have it directed to another faster website that suites a phone use? Please help me on this. Because I have tried viewing this website on my iphone and it is pretty slow to load, just like any other websites. Plus I will have gallery viewing.

Thank you for this great template and waiting for your clarification on these two matters.

TrueThemes

Hey there,

Thank you so much for your interest in Karma.

In terms of differences between HTML and Wordpress version, your site visitors won’t see much of a difference, but the inner-workings of the site will be entirely different between the Wordpress version and HTML version.

We’ve outlined an article on our Knowledbase that discusses more details about some of the key differences between the Wordpress version and HTML version: http://support.truethemes.net/knowledgebase/which-do-i-choose-wordpress-theme-or-html-theme

As per a mobile version of your site, the Karma theme does not come with a mobile-specific template, however if you decide to go the Wordpress route, you can likely install a 3rd party plugin that will serve up a different website layout for mobile devices. If you google “wordpress mobile plugins” you can get a much better idea about what is available to you.

I hope this information is helpful for you.

Please feel free to give us a shout if you have any questions at all.

Thank you so much

Cheers :)

i bought the HTML version in the interest of integrating with a script written for freelance network … can this be possible?

and do you have any manual or videos for the HTML ?... which teaches how to use/install …... am sure that would help a lot .

i tried getting videos from youtube to help with the installation but i only got videos of the WordPress version…

i would somehow prefer to have a technical support to find my way through the installation …. if that is possible . Thank you.

TrueThemes

Hi There,

You can indeed integrate 3rd party scripts into your website template.

As per training videos, we do not currently have videos for the HTML version of the Karma theme. Users who purchase the HTML theme generally have a working knowledge of how to modify/edit/duplicate HTML pages, so there is no need for setup videos.

If there is a specific issue you need assistance with please just let us know. We are happy to assist you.

Thanks so much

Cheers :)

thank you for the mail, and the quick responds, Can you assist us with integration …. if that will mean extra cost… we can discuss that detail..

we would be grateful to have any member of your team assist us with the integration… since you have a better idea of html and php…

Hey There,

We are unfortunately not available for custom work hire.

You may want to post a thread on the Forums here on ThemeForest to find a web developer to build out your website for you. The ThemeForest Forums can be accessed at: http://themeforest.net/forums

I hope this is helpful for you.

Hello,

I purchased (Themeforest) and tried to install your Karma theme for wordpress on Wordpress 3.1, installing the .zip file didn´t work so i installed it manually via FTP . After uploading, Wordpress gave a message that the stylesheet is missing?

What do i need to do to successfuly install your product?

Regards,

Michel Bertrand mrbertrand@sympatico.ca

Hello,

I was wondering, the form on the contact page looks like the ” iphorm-simple-yet-powerful-ajax-contact-form ” sold on CodeCanyon by ThemeCatcher? if so I am already familiar with the form and that would be a bonus!

Thanks,

TrueThemes

Hi There,

Yes you are correct :)

The form on the contact page is indeed the iPhorm. We’ve purchased the extended license so the iPhorm comes packaged with the Karma template completely free of charge.

Please feel free to give us a shout if you have any further questions.

Cheers :)

Great template – about to purchase it now – quick question; do you have any plans for a mobile specific version of this template?

TrueThemes

Hey There,

We currently do not have plans for a Mobile template, however if we get enough requests for this feature we will indeed include it in the future.

Please feel free to give us a shout with any further questions.

Cheers :)

Default-user

well a few people have already mentioned it in previous comments.

And I think that alot of people who use your html + email templates would also want a mobile version, to keep the website looking consistent.

You’d make a decent amount of sales out of it in my opinion…

Another question – how do I get all the buttons to work as a submit button? When I try and change them from a link button the graphic goes all crazy and doesnt work properly?

TrueThemes

Hey There,

The easiest way to use a link as a submit button is with a small bit of JavaScript.

Please check out this short tutorial for complete details: http://www.devppl.com/forum/post62654.html

I hope this is helpful for you. Please feel free to give us a shout if you need any further assistance.

Cheers my friend :)

hmmm… whilst that kinda works, the problem is I need my submit button to generate _POST() data, but the JS script only generates _GET() data…

thats ok – I’ll just have to use the submit button you’ve provided…

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but for some reason the Karma HTML version will not display my image files (or some times it will display it once and then not again). However, if I point the img src=”” to one of your image files, it displays everytime. I have Photoshop CS5 and I tried saving the images as GIF , JPG, and PNG and I get nothing. It shows like the file doesn’t exist. Do the images have to be saved in a certain format with specific parameters? This is very discouraging!! Please help! Thanks!

TrueThemes

Hey There,

Hmm.. this sounds very strange indeed. There are not any special requirements for file types, etc.

Hello

Just finished a website and started to validate the code within Dreamweaver using XHTML 1 .0 Strict. Got all the issues taken care of and posted the website.

I validated using W3C validator and the HTML validates fine. The CSS had 42 errors in the

1 in karma-cool-blue.css

41 in style.css

http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/

The page validated was http://www.ronaldlinkowdds.com/preventative.html

Wondering if the right Doctype is being used. Please suggest a work out to validate the CSS using W3C Validator.

TrueThemes

Hey There,

The HTML on your website is validating nicely.

The CSS however has 40 or so “errors”. The “errors” listed are not actually errors, but rather they are CSS3 properties which have been put in place for progressive enhancement.

We recommend to just leave the stylesheet as-is. Anyone that would be validating your site will have at least some knowledge about websites and CSS , and when they see the “errors” listed in the validator, they will see that the errors are actually only CSS3 properties.

I hope this is helpful for you. Please feel free to give us a shout if there’s anything else we can do to help.

Cheers my friend :)

Karma is an outstanding template. Very crisp and professional looking.

I just cleaned up several HTML errors which were created by me cutting and pasting code.

Looking at the CSS Errors they are consistent across all pages – 41 of them. Seems like many of them are font related. It says

Just in case my client runs a validation test can you walk me through what this means -

“Value Error : font-weight Property font-weight doesn’t exist in CSS level 2.1 but exists in [css1, css2, css3] : normal “

TrueThemes

Hey There,

We kindly ask you to post a link to a specific page you have in question so we can validate on our end and have a more detailed look about the validation error.

Also, please note that CSS “errors” are really nothing to worry about. The validator will only validate to the most recent published spec, CSS 2 .1, so there are bound to be “errors” on any modern website using tried and true technologies.

Here is a nice article that talks more about validation and how it is best used during your development: http://net.tutsplus.com/articles/general/but-it-doesnt-validate/

Please feel free to give us a shout if there’s anything else we can do to help.

Cheers my friend :)

So i just bought this template and it looks great did have one question though… as for the search bar, comments, and blog integration do you know of any pre coded php scripts or any other options to finish off those tools. Also i am using blogger right now to post my blogs is there an easy way to tap into those to populate my website blog?

thanks a million!

TrueThemes

Hi There,

Thank you so much for your Karma purchase. We really appreciate your support.

We unfortunately do not know of a PHP script for searching/blog functionality.

You may want to check out CodeCanyon to see if they’ve got what you’re looking for: http://www.codecanyon.net

Also, you may want to consider purchasing our Wordpress version of the Karma theme. This has all of the dynamic functionality already built in: http://themeforest.net/item/karma-clean-and-modern-wordpress-theme/168737

Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help.

Cheers my friend :)

Hi,

Fantastic template!

Are there any plans to make the template responsive?

Also, how hard is it to design your own theme?

TrueThemes

Hey,

Thanks so much for the kind words.

There are no immediate plans to make the theme responsive. If we get many requests for this we will indeed do so.

As per making a top-selling theme, it’s not that difficult, but the amount of time will depend on the quality of theme you release. This Karma theme took nearly 200 hours of designing, UI testing, Developing, etc.

Best of luck with all your future endeavors!

Cheers my friend :)
