I bought the HTML -Version of Karma and have to say this is an absolute dream, congratulations for your work.
Being an “old” guy who did his last web-page development with Frontpage (and the infamous FP-Extensions) some years ago, I am not very educated with CSS and PHP , just the basics. Beside this, I managed to install and adopt this wonderful theme without many problems, as the code is very well documented, nearly “idiot proof”. Additionally, my questions to the support team were all answered in a very short time, so I never got stuck.
To make it short: Never spent $20,- in a better way !!
Good Luck for your future.
Thanks a lot for the kind words my friend! We’re so glad to hear you’re happy with everything.
We wish you all the best on all of your website endeavors.
Can you tell me if the left / right nav bar can have submenu items? Eg Collapsible?
Thanks so much for your Karma interest!
The left/right nav items can indeed have sub items.
I hope this helps.
Really liking this theme. I just have one question. I’m starting a business and thinking of using this theme for our site.
It’s mainly to showcase our business but we would also like to be able to sell 5-10 things on the site.
Would it be possible for us to add a cart feature to this template?
Thanks a lot for your interest in Karma.
Adding E-commerce functionality is indeed possible. We have many customers who are using the Cart66 Plugin with great success: http://cart66.com/
Please give us a shout if you have any further questions.
This is great, I’m almost done with my build. I have a question though…If I use the subnav in the left column I can’t add anything below it, like the little testimonial block. Nothing I do works it always breaks the main content area on the right.
Good work, thanks!
Thank you so much for your Karma purchase.
Please check out the article from our TrueThemes HelpDesk KnowledgeBase below. It outlines full details about adding a custom side nav with content below it: http://support.truethemes.net/?knowledgebase=create-custom-side-nav

Would you help me which parts need to be translate it to Spanish, please?.
thanks in advance,
Yes the characters you’ve listed are indeed supported. As per translating the theme, you can use a plugin such as www.WPML.org for quick and easy translation.
Hi, just downloaded the theme – nice work…
Any reason the 3D index pages arent working?
The 3D pages should be working nicely.
If you’d like, we can certainly have a closer look behind the scenes of your site and try to determine the cause for the issue.

Buddy, the thumbnail slider is doing good locally. But when I put that on website, it is not showing the replaced/modified images (instead it is showing the default images). I have tried all sort of image paths in “thumbnails-dark.xml”, but to no success. The modified images are coming in, locally though. What am I missing?. The modified images is in folder “3dimages”.
I deleted all the images in my “3dimages” folder of my website, still it showing default images online…....Out of my mind!!
We are happy to have a closer look behind the scenes and assist you with your inquiry.

How can I change css to template fonts support ?,ž,š,? (Croatian characters). When I use this on my site for example on callout-wrap span I get larger bold characters for Croatian and Bosnian characters.
I just buy Your template and it is GREAT !
All The Best,
Thanks so much for the kind words. We really appreciate it.

Hi, just downloaded the theme – nice work… Any reason the 3D index pages arent working?
Cool… the 3d pages have to live to work, I was only viewing locally!
Is there an easy way to change the height of the 3D container?
I’ve changed the height of the 3D slider within the XML file, but its still blocking the bottom section from moving up.
Any ideas pls?

We have just bought the theme,
Have picked the Royal blue color. Created a new folder and copy pasted in the royal blue relevant folders, css, js, images etc..
Now trying to use the template-rightsidebar.html for one of the inner pages but some how the right portion of the body area gets blanked out do not know which are the scripts which are missing to completely display correctly.
We can indeed look into this further and get you all squared away.

Ugggh, great looking site but be sure to purchase the WP version if you want WP, I wasn’t paying attention and got the CSS / HTML version. My bad. Looks nice though.
Saying ‘thank you’ it isn’t enough for telling you how much I appreciate your help, attention and the time spent for me . I knew – from testimonials – that you are very professionally , but feeling it on my skin make me saying ‘wau…’, you are really amazing .
Like the others costumers can say that I never spent in a better way 20$ !!!
I wish you all the best on all of your work and I wait the next template.
Thanks so much for your kind words Irene. It really means a lot to us. We’re so glad you’ve enjoyed working with us and we truly look forward to working with you more in the future. Have an awesome day!
Absolutely love this template! – so easy to use!!
I just have 1 quick question – On the iPhone Contact page, is the iPhone image a stock image? One of my clients has asked about the licensing/copyright behind using that image but if it was a stock image, theres no issue – If it was a stock image, could you give me a link to the site you got it from?
Keep up the excellent work.
Thanks so much for the kind words – we’re so glad you’re liking the theme.
As per the iPhone we obtained the iPhone photo from a free online “GUI Kit” for iOS developers. The link where we obtained this image is unfortunately no longer available. We’re unable to give legal advice but we can say that at the time of our download there were no licensing restrictions on this image.
This is not the original link but here is a very similar GUI Kit: http://www.teehanlax.com/blog/iphone-4-gui-psd-retina-display/
I hope this is helpful for you. Please feel free to give us a shout if you have any further inquiries.
One big negative: you’ve used iphorm, also available on these sites, for your contact page. However, you’ve cut out some of the features, for example the upload facility. I noted that you used iphorm when I looked at the demo which I knew would do the job I wanted. I didn’t imagine for a moment that you’d cut pieces out of it.
I need the upload facility which means I now need to buy it to recover the css and php coding that you deleted from the original, or rewrite it myself. Why did you do this? It takes work to cut down software, but why do it when all it does is reduce functionality? It’s perverse.
Hi There my friend,
iPhorm is a great script but it can also be very confusing for non-advanced users.
Our primary goal with all of our products is usability, and for that reason we chose to streamline the form scripts and remove the non-essential upload functionality.
Really very sorry to disappoint. If there’s anything else we can do to help please just let us know.
It is nice to have sortable portfolio with categories, not only with column. Is SEARCH function is workable? Can we setup Blog page with WordPress, means same theme style but Blog with WordPress?
How to pause sliding frame while mouse hover, can we have play & pause button?
Pl. let me know. Thanks.
Thanks so much for your interest in this theme.
You might be more interested in the Wordpress Version of this theme which already has built-in dynamic search and blog capability: http://themeforest.net/item/karma-clean-and-modern-wordpress-theme/168737
As per a filterable gallery this is currently not an available feature. As per the homepage slider, both functions mentioned are already built-in so activating requires only very minor code adjustment.
I hope this is helpful for you. Please give us a shout if you have any more questions at all. We are happy to help
Cheers my friend
I use dreamweaver CS5 . To pick up any coding errors I set it to correct any incorrectly closed tags or nesting errors.
From a fresh unzipped theme, downloaded last week, opening the code snippets page triggers 6 or 7 error warnings.
Copying the content of the page ‘code snippets’ to w3.org manual validation shows no less than 75 errors and 1 warning.
Code warnings also pop up for index-jquery-1, blog-full-post, leftsidebar-horizontal-nav, rightnav and sitemap.
Trying to open the code snippet page in dreamweaver, if the program is set to correct unclosed tags (etc) it closes a variety of yours – where you have chosen to use inconsistent linebreak code and not closed some images fully. For some reason this makes the footer vanish when it is then opened in a browser. If I open the pages in a browser without correcting the errors, the page displays normally. I have had to disable dreamweaver’s correction facility for now, which is annoying as I find it very helpful when I have been working late at night the day before..
I was going to look for advice etc on your help pages but if you filter the comments on your site by product (ie choose html version of karma) there are only 4 items for this theme, none of which relate to this issue.
On a separate topic, given that you have created various coloured skins, it would be a good idea to add a selection of table designs. I know people using this theme for hosting reseller purposes will love the pricing boxes but I suspect more people will have use for some snazzy tables.
Thanks so much for the heads up.
We’re not too familiar with the Dreamweaver auto-closing system, however we’ve just went in and fixed any of the validation errors.
The majority of the errors were simply a “trickle effect” caused by invalid br tags. (The br tags were simply added to make the code snippets page more easily viewable)
You can see how that the code snippets page validated nicely: http://themes.truethemes.net/Karma-HTML/content-code-snippets.html
You can download this individual HTML file here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/7008416/content-code-snippets.html.zip
We’ve also posted this file to ThemeForest so that all future users receive the updated file.
Very sorry for the oversight on our end and thank you very much for bringing it to our attention.
Have an awesome weekend my friend!
First of all your template looks great – well done.
Before I purchase can you please answer the following question:
I want to build a normal (not WordPress) HTML website in German.
Can I modify everything (all the buttons, menus, contact form etc.) with a standard editor and are the special German characters (öäü ß ÖÄÜ §) supported?
Thanks so much for the kind words my friend, we really appreciate it!
The answers to your questions are Yes and Yes
This theme can be modified using any basic text editor. We’ve also just tested the German characters and they do indeed render nicely in the theme.
Please feel free to give us a shout if there’s anything else we can do to help.
Thanks and purchased
