I was also looking for a way to move the mobile menu down under the logo. It just isn’t obvious where the menu is, in my opinion.
What I did, as an easy fix, was add a background image to #tt-mobile-menu-button in _mobile.css.
My background image has Main Menu > in white text. That seems to work well for me. Hope that helps.
Thanks so much for supporting the community. You rock!

Thank you so much
I am not a web developer and this Karma theme is so versatile and easy to use. I wish I had found this before wasting a lot of time with another theme that proved so difficult and gave no support. The Karma video tutorials were great and it was so easy to put my site together. When it was ready to go live, I moved my site to the server and had a problem getting the main page to display properly. I submitted a support ticket to TrueThemes at 2am on Sunday morning and went to bed. At 8am I had a response from Support and at 8:05am my issue was resolved. They even made suggestions and provided a couple of lines of code to tweak my site.
Great theme! Great support! The biggest payback for the smallest investment you can make in a web site!
Thank you so much for letting us serve you my friend.
Much success on your new website!
Hello Karma Team ,
I would like to know something.
Is it possible to change the header, content and/or footer backgrounds ?
Thanks so much for reply and your work.
Thanks so much for your Karma interest.
Are you referring to the color scheme of the header/footer? If so Karma comes with 20 professionally-designed color schemes.
Hey, thanks for replying so quickly.
I am actually wondering about th possibility to insert a background of my own (a picture for example).
Thanks for the info.
Yes this is indeed possible. It’s not built into the Site Options panel but it can be achieved with a single line of CSS code (the CSS code can be added via the ‘Custom CSS’ section of the Site Options Panel).
We’re very happy to guide you in this process if you need our assistance.
Cheers my friend
Ok, thanks a lot for the reactivity Karma friend .
I am about to purchase your Karma Wordpress template but I need to know something first about the licence certificate (I am not familiar with that part).
I am planning to run it locally with XAMP first in order to test it before going live on the web.
Is it going to be problem concerning the licence ?
Thank you very much for your information.
Thanks so much for reaching out to us.
Yes the License will cover your usage of Karma on your local XAMP environment.
The only time you’ll need to purchase additional license(s) is if you plan to use Karma for additional websites that are live on the web. XAMP local sites are totally covered. (for example if you created www.website1.com and www.website2.com both using Karma this would require 2 Licenses.
We hope this information is helpful.
Please feel free to give us a shout with any further questions.
Ok, so just to make sure :
If I use XAMP local www.website1.com and then go live with www.website1.com on the web, there will be no problem at all ?
Can I get your reply as soon as you can.
It a decision point for me before buying your product.
Thanks for understanding.
Thank you very much in advance.
Yes there will be no problem at all. One License is all you need.
I am currently developing a website using this theme and I am looking at utilizing the 3D Gallery page for a selection of photos.
My questions with regards to using the 3D gallery relate to viewing these photos on an iPhone:
1) I noticed that the 3D transformations are using Flash to play – won’t this cause issues on viewing this on an iPhone device?
2) While viewing your “Live View” of your sample site on my iPhone, again, specifically looking at the Gallery 3D Cuber option, the thumbnails on the right hand side, do not seem to be responding to figure/touchscreen gestures, to view selected photo on the left – is this an issue that is being looked at?
You can try this yourself, to see the problem.
Can you please assist with the above queries.
We’re very happy to assist you my friend.

I purchased the email template, and imported it into Mailchimp as per the video instructions, but it is not editable like they show in the video when I get it there. Am I doing it wrong, or is there something wrong?
We’re very happy to have a closer look and help you to resolve.
I’m having difficulty downloading my custom logo. Watched the demo video, followed the instructions and still the upload does not work.
We’re very happy to have a closer look at your website and help you to resolve.
Any chance we’ll see a Forum/FAQ section added??
Love the theme, will be buying soon for sure.
Thanks so much for your Karma interest my friend.
Many customers have used the Accordion shortcodes to create a powerful and nicely organized FAQ page.
We don’t have immediate plans for a Forum however a new version of the BuddyPress software is being released (or may have already been released) which enables one to install a forum/community on their wordpress-powered website: http://wpmu.org/7-exciting-new-features-in-buddypress-1-7/
I am happy to use your theme. I have some few question and looking forward to hear from you. if you can check the website its http://www.drgonzalezmd.com on the homepage you notice i have put an image slider, at the bottom there are 4 box which show the image and its article. so my question is, is there a way i can get an automatic update for those images under the image slider, and 4 boxes to copy all the latest articles and image from other site? because those 4 box should connect to out 4 websites. An automatic change from image slider to 4 boxes everytime there are latest articles and images attach. I will be waiting for your answer. again thanks for these wonderful theme.
thank you for your quick reply. i will surely message your helpdesk.
In relation to the blog – I did this https://support.truethemes.net/?knowledgebase=64
And it looks OK http://forexstacja.com/blog/
But instead of the blog post I would like to display the excerpt text instead – Please can you provide instruction on how to do this as I only want readers to see the main post content once they click on “read more”.
It would also be useful to then not display the thumbnail in the actual post – http://forexstacja.com/strategia-3-male-swinki-raport-tygodniowy-05-sty-2013/
Hope these can be easily accommodated and I look forward to your great support as always.
We’re very happy to have a closer look at everything and help you to resolve.
So annoying to get these replies – Especially as I posted here in the belief the answer would be useful to all – I will now go and post in support

I have submitted a ticket and look forward to your response.
I have a question I left out – Maybe its appropriate here.
What is the ideal size of an image inserted into a blog – the second image down in this post http://forexstacja.com/strategia-3-male-swinki-raport-tygodniowy-05-sty-2013/
Is 320 wide – So I am assuming its too small – I am guessing its this – Blog Posts’ Featured Image – 538px x 218px – But it would be a guess – Please can you confirm.
hi guys i think u missed the one above
Hi there my friend,
Images inserted within a blog post can be any size you desire. For a seamless look and feel we recommend an image size which is close or exactly the same size as a blog post featured image: 538px x 218px
Hope this is helpful my friend.
Please remember to kindly submit all future support questions on our secure HelpDesk so that our dedicated support team can best assist you.
For anyone who has trouble with wpautop with shortcodes when using the karma theme add this as a plugin or add to functions.php
add_filter( ‘the_content’, ‘my_formatter’ , 99);
add_filter( ‘the_content’, ‘shortcode_unautop’,100 );
Cheers:) Thanks so much for supporting the community.
first a word of praise to the developers. A really fantastic theme.
I have problems with the inclusion of a “Featured Image (External Source)”. I want to integrate the thumbnail of an youtube video. This works fine, according to Youtube API via a URL in a format like this: http://img.youtube.com/vi/VIDEO_ID/0.jpg.
An example: http://img.youtube.com/vi/X7rSxZ37ZbQ/0.jpg
I can easily paste it into an article without problems. Just as Featured Image i get a broken image with the typical red cross.
Is there a workaround or fix? Am I doing something else wrong?
It sounds like this could be perhaps related to permissions on the web server.
When an external source image is used, the TIMTHUMB script is activated and used for the image resizing. Some web servers require minor adjustments in order for this script to execute properly.
Perhaps try doing a Google search for TIMTHUMB / image not showing. This should provide a variety of quality results and possible immediate solution for you.
If you’re in any further need of assistance we are extremely happy to have a closer look at your website and help you to resolve.
Thanks so much Otti
I like this theme but before I buy it, can you tell me if it’s possible to use a full lenght header/banner design as well as my logo?
Is it possible for you to provide a URL to a sample of a full-length header/banner design? We just want to ensure we know what you’re referring to so that we can best assist you.
The header is the top rectangular shaped area that runs across the top of the web page,
The primary purpose of a header is to promote the company’s brand and make it instantly recognizable to the audience.
most themes nowadays don’t have a any header design space, tiny logo space and buttons/menu system, I like a lot of the responsive themes here including karma but it’s becoming standart boring “logo and menu” design, what happened to the old header designs? Lol, this is not to get at your Wonderful Karma theme, I just can’t see where I can add a header design to it, just replacing the logo doesn’t do it for me, I like to add an eye catching header design which most themes don’t have anymore.
Thankls for your fast response by the way.
Thanks so much for the clarification.
Adding a similar ‘header banner’ to the URL you’ve provided can indeed be done however it’s not built in to the theme by default. It will simply require making some minor coding adjustments to your theme’s code. If you’re familiar with some basic HTML/CSS the modification will be a breeze to implement.
Please just let us know if there’s anything else at all we can do to assist.
The theme looks beautiful and easy to use for a novice – I just wanted to check before buying whether I can make the blog layout page the home page, and would this require code?
The answer to your question is Yes. The Blog can be set to display as the homepage and does not require making any modifications to the theme.
Hi. I have 2 websites with the Karma theme running – www.beauty-2000.com and www.osullivanconceptsalons.co.uk … On the Contact Us page for O’Sullivan’s the TO email address is displayed as email@example.com and I cannot work out how to ensure this field is blank.
On the Beauty2000 Contact Us page the field is blank just as I want it.
I have compared the short code for both and they are exactly the same!
How do I ensure this EMAIL field is blank as it’s confusing for visitors to see it pre-filled.
The built-in contact form auto-fills the email address when you are logged into your Wordpress Dashboard. It does not get displayed to the public. You can test by logging out of your Wordpress Dashboard and re-visiting the site.
If you require any further assistance we are very happy to assist.
Thanks so much my friend.
I’m having a problem with IE9 only. If I choose “Homepage::jQuery 2” as my home page template the page content will move up and behind the slider buttons. I’ve removed any CSS customization and still get the same thing. Works fine in Chrome. Anyone else having this issue?
Hi – love this theme! How do I hide the post footer? I don’t want the categories and tags to show.
my client is interested in purchasing karma. we can only do this if the theme allows full customization of the homepage layout. what level of control of the homepage design is provided?
Everything below the slider on the homepage templates is completely customizeable. (ie. 3 columns, 4 columns, etc). The built-in shortcode manager allows for any combination of homepage layout.
Please feel free to give us a shout with any further questions at all.
My buddy just purchased this theme and is having problems. He sent in a ticket to you and your answer led him to a help file that did not help him. I am writing because I couldn’t figure it out also when I tried to help and I am curious…plus I like your theme!!! Great job
In the lightbox shortcode, how do you link to a self hosted video (such as an mp4 in your media library) and get it to work? When the url is entered in the “popup” tag, it does open it, but in a new window and NOT the lightbox. He wants the video to load into lightbox just like a static picture would do, so you can see the page behind the lightbox and just click to exit. Any ideas??? Thanks
Unfortunately the Lightbox does not support self-hosted video by default. Youtube, Vimeo and Flash are supported.
If you require any further assistance please kindly respond to the Support Ticket which you’ve already submitted so our team can support you most efficiently.
Thanks so much my friend
