another thing …. i’m going to make it arabic ..so all things in the left will be in the right but slides photo didn’t changed what is the proplem?

TrueThemes

Hi There,

Are you referring to swapping the slides images to the left side and the slides content to the right side?

If so this is not currently built into the theme by default. You’ll need to modify the theme’s CSS in order to achieve reversed slides image + slide content.

We’re unavailable for customization work at this time however we’re very happy to point you in the right direction.

I can´t buy this theme!! By some reason Paypal is not allowing me. I tried two different cards and I´m getting the same response. So sad I´ll have to find something else on a different site.

TrueThemes

Hi There,

So sorry to hear that you’re running into issues with the checkout process.

We don’t actually have any control over the purchasing (everything handled through ThemeForest / Envato) so we’re unable to provide very much guidance.

If you’re still interested in purchasing we highly recommend to reach out to the Envato support team and they should be able to get you all squared away: http://support.envato.com/

Please give us a shout if there’s anything else at all we can do to help.

Thanks so much

Cheers :)

When we purchased this theme we were under the impression it was responsive as it says it’s a “Responsive Wordpress Theme”?

The Cu3er slider is not fitting to the width of my iPhone and I’m wondering how to fix this?

Please advise.

Thanks!

TrueThemes

Sure thing my friend.

The responsive-ness of cu3er is working nicely on our end so we’ll just need to take a closer look behind the scenes and help to provide solution.

My client purchased Karma and I am working on there website on my server (gogetas.com/supreme)

How do you center the logo so it’s in the middle of the header and center the navigation menu below it? I would like to have bigger logo image (800×40 or something like that)

Also, I am using the Autumn secondary color scheme. Where can I find the image that is the background for the page title, breadcrumbs and search bar? http://gogetas.com/supreme/services/messenger/ (the red gradient background where the page title and search bar is displayed.)

TrueThemes

Hi my friend,

Here are a few articles from our HelpDesk that outline solutions to your questions:

Sorry if this overlaps with an e-mail I sent to you, but as I am not sure whether you received the e-mail I thought to ask a few pre-purchase questions.

Crich Baptist Church 1: With an existing theme in place, from a different author, how difficult would it be to move the site over from our existing theme, to Karma? In other words how would I go about it?

2: Our present navigation system on the site is firstly by the sitewide main nav-bar (some with drop-downs). This currently has nine buttons – Is there a way with Karma to increase the sections referred to i.e. from five to more?

3: Can the site name be input using dynamic text, rather than a .png logo?

3: As far as videos are concerned – presently we are able to show sermon videos which are hosted on a site called sermonaudio.com. This is done by taking a piece of html code provided by sermonaudio.com that then enables us to embed the video in our site. If you are able to take a peek at our site you will see what I mean. I presently add the code by clicking on the ‘Text’ tab (alongside the ‘Visual’ tab) in Wordpress, and then by pasting the code into the required place. Would this work in Karma, on the front page, maybe even showing the availabilty of such a video in one of the ‘columns with images elements’, or would it have to be in a totally different place?

Many thanks for what looks an excellent theme. I am really looking forward to working with it.

Regards,

Alan

TrueThemes

Hey Alan,

Thank you so very much for your interest in Karma.

As per your questions:

1: Switching from one theme to another is generally a pretty easy process however we’re unable to determine the exact nature of the switchover without knowing how the original theme was built. The switchover process will generally include: activating the new theme (Karma), editing each existing page and choosing the desired page template, choosing the desired custom options within Karma Site Options Panel (ie. color scheme, etc), creating or re-assigning existing sidebars and assigning them to existing pages.

2: Karma can have an unlimited amount of menu items. The size of the logo determines how many nav items can fit without any code customization. For websites with larger navigations we recommend “centering the logo and navigation” as per outlined in this HelpDesk Article: https://support.truethemes.net/?knowledgebase=center-logo-and-main-navigation-karma-theme

3: Yes. Karma comes with a Logo Builder which enables you to choose a standard ‘logo icon’ and insert the dynamic text.

4: It looks like the video embed process will be the same as your existing website (switch to ‘Text’ view and paste in the HTML code). This method is also supported by Karma theme.

The videos on your existing website have an existing dimensions which won’t fit in the ‘columns with images’ however a great option will be to use a different image within the ‘columns with images’ which will then link to a ‘video repository page’ (ie. your ‘video sermons’ page).

We hope this information is helpful my friend.

Please let us know if there’s anything else at all we can do to assist.

Thanks so much

Couple quick questions. Is there a way to have a subnav and sidebar on the left at the same time? Using the Left Nav + Sidebar options seems to move the sidebar to the right, but I would like to be able to have the sidebar items below the Left Nav.

Also, for non home page templates, is there a way to remove the title bar area that has the title and breadcrumbs? My client would rather not see that area.

Thanks for the great/flexible theme!

TrueThemes

Hey my friend,

We’re very happy to assist.

- Adding widgets in same sidebar as sub-navigation is unfortauntely not currently built into the theme by default. This functionality can indeed be added via customizing the code of your theme.

- The Utility Bar (title+breadcrumb bar) can be disabled from within Karma’s Site Options Panel. Simply Click on ‘Appearance > Site Options > Interface Options’ and check the box next to ‘Utility Bar’ to disable.

Thanks for the guidance!

Hi,

Have a question about the sidebar as well as the portfolio.

For the sidebars, I notice that as the viewport gets smaller – the sidebars go on top of the main content area. Is it possible to configure Karma so that in narrow viewports the sidebars are displayed below the main content area (or perhaps not even shown at all?).

And for the gallery/portfolios, is it possible to just link from the thumbnails to a “large image” page…and not utilize lighbox or other fancy effects? I tend to write a lot about each individual image, and like the “large images” shown by themselves on a page.

Thanks

Jim

TrueThemes

Hey Jim,

Yes a custom archives template is indeed possible.

We’re very happy to provide some more details. Please check out our notes below:

- All Wordpress themes contain a page template named ‘archive.php’ <- this is the page template where all blog archives will load.

- The simplest method we reckon is to create a customized version of archive.php

- archive.php can be updated to include ‘hard-coded text’ which can utilize PHP if statements and Wordpress categories to display custom text for each category.

For example:

<?php
if ( in_category('Houses') ) {
echo 'Houses are super cool';
}
?>

We hope this is helpful my friend.

Is there any ability to alter the colors schemes. We have a Red/Blue logo and all the colors are too close to the blue or too dark to show it really effectively. The only one that will remotely work is grey and the company owner hates grey. We’d like to do something with white.

Hi, My company here in Sweden, www.candelux.se, is almost sure to migrate to Wordpress with Karma theme, but we need to test locally first before production. Is there any way to have the theme for developing the website and, once decided to use that, make the purchase before launching it online? Cheers, Samuel Jacobsen

TrueThemes

Hey Samuel,

We apologize but do not currently offer a free trial of Karma theme. We’re bound by contract through Envato and are unable to distribute the Karma theme outside of this marketplace.

We’re very happy to provide a refund if you decide you’re not satisfied with your purchase.

Hope this is helpful my friend.

As someone who has used several themes over the last few years creating websites for a wide variety of clients, I want those of you considering a purchase to know that the Karma theme is the best I’ve used. It’s extremely solid while still having much more flexibility than others i have used. The shortcode selection is amazing, the ability to create tons of different sidebars very easily makes this theme stand alone. The theme is better documented than any other theme I’ve used. The TrueThemes tech support staff is very professional, prompt, and friendly. You will not be disappointed in your purchase.

TrueThemes

We’re so glad you’re enjoying the theme my friend.

Thanks so much for your kind words!

You rock!

Hey there !

dose the theme support rtl?

TrueThemes

Apologies my friend but Karma does not currently come with RTL stylesheet.

Cheers :)

Need some help changing the color of the text on the shortcode buttons. I tried to Bold and Change the Font color using the following code: [button url="http://" target="_self" size="small" style="silver" ]<span style="color: #000000;"><strong>Login to My Account</strong></span>[/button]

When I do that it makes the button go crazy and adds two extra blank buttons in the background. Do you have any workarounds? Thanks! :)

TrueThemes

Sure thing my friend.

The simplest method will be to adjust the buttons styling via CSS.

- From the Wordpress Dashboard click on ‘Appearance > Site Options > Styling and CSS.

- Scroll down to the ‘Custom CSS’ section and drop in the code below.

- Save Changes and your buttons are now bold :)

.ka_button span {
font-weight: bold;
}

Awesome! That worked like a charm to make the letters Bold, but how do I change the font color of the buttons without having other blanks buttons pop up in the background? You guys are always such a great help, so thanks for the great service!

TrueThemes

Sure thing.

You will simply add some additional CSS to include a change in color:

.ka_button {
color: #999 !important;
}

Hi, love your theme and will purchase. Just wondering, I have an existing site on wordpress and was thinking to install this theme on that existing site then make adjustments, however, I’m wondering if it’s better and easier/faster to do a clean install of wordpress, upload the theme and then cut and paste from the other site?

The current site has a number of galleries, lots of posts and pages.

What do you recommend is the best way?

TrueThemes

Hi There,

Thank you so very much for your interest in the Karma theme.

It sounds like a combination of the 2 will likely be the best way to go. Please see our recommendations below:

- We recommend to do a clean Wordpress/Karma install on a “development area” of your web server. (ie. yourwebsite.com/newsite)

- You can then follow the first few Training Videos and get a basic framework of the Karma theme in place.

- You can then Export your Wordpress content from existing site and Import it into the new development/Karma site.

- From there you can make adjustments, get the site all buttoned up, and when your ready to launch simply push the development site live.

We hope this information is helpful for you. Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to assist.

Cheers :)

thank you. That’s the way I decided to go.

Hi, I am interested in purchasing this theme, I am a newbie so please let me know if you provide content as XML with this template, to set up Demo website like you have shown?

As it is easier for me to edit things this way…

please let me know soon, thanks.. Himanshu

TrueThemes

Hey Himanshu,

Thanks so much for your Karma interest.

Yes Karma comes with a complete set of XML Demo Content.

The demo content does not provide exact replica of the live demo site as we don’t want to bulk up your wordpress installation with a variety of pages/content/images which will only need to be deleted during your site build.

The included XML provides an excellent “starter website” with everything you need to build a fully-functional website very quickly and easily.

Please feel free to contact us again if there’s anything else we can do to assist.

Cheers :)
