Thank you so much
I upgraded to the newest version and now my forms aren’t working properly? When a client fills out the form and hits the sumbit button the information is displayed on the screen? And, I’m not receiving the message?
Please tell me how/where to edit to correct these issues.
We’re not running into this issue on our end so we’ll just need to take a closer look behind the scenes of your website to help pinpoint the issue and help you resolve.

Where is the “get_the_excerpt()” function in the theme?
Hi there my friend,
Karma does not currently use the get_the_excerpt() function. It uses a modified version of the_content() function to display an excerpt-style bit of content.
This custom function is located on line 101 of the file named: “theme-template-part-content-blog.php” The name of the function is “limit_content”.
If there’s anything else at all we can do to help please kindly submit a ticket on our secure HelpDesk so that our dedicated support team can gladly provide further assistance.
The descriptions says “unlimited fonts”, is there a recommended way to add to the theme?
Sure thing my friend.
The custom fonts option is located within Karma’s Site Options Panel.
From within the WP Dashboard click on Appearance > Site Options > Typography. Within this section you can choose from some pre-loaded recommended fonts or use the field below that section to input a custom Google Font that you prefer.
Thanks for the reply, I was interested in changing the fonts in the drop downs in the Theme Designer section for example. I was able to easily add a font in the other section, that was self explanatory.
Sure thing my friend, we’re very happy to provide direction.

KARMA / wordpress theme very slow !!!
15 seconde to go to a page.
I done a second install = same problem.
If I use standart theme in wordpress = no problem.
Please help me, best regards.
Slow loading speed is sometimes caused by large images being used within the website. Have you set up any image frames which are calling in large images?
We’re very happy to take a closer look at your website and help to determine the cause and provide solution.

So I want to create a tab for Articles and then have a drop down of business, art, science, technology, lifestyle, etc. What I learned from the tutorials about the blogging feature has put me in a state of perplexity. I don’t necessarily want to be blogging.
The thing is I am too confused on where to actually write the articles.
Must I make a post and then connect it to a category? And the pages should be connected to the category as well. And what template should I use if I am making articles?
Last question, what settings should be on to get my Articles going. I guess what I’m really looking for is a specific procedure I can use to make my articles and categorize them correctly.
It sounds like Blog Posts will work perfectly for your Articles.
To begin simply start creating your posts (Click on Posts > Add New) and add them to your desired categories (science, technology, lifestyle, etc)
Once all your posts are created you can add the dropdoen you mentioned using Wordpress built-in Menus tool. (Appearance > Menus).
On the left hand side of the menus screen you’ll see a “Categories” section. Simply check off the Categories you’d like to add, Add them to the menu, arrange however you’d like and you’ll be all good to go.
This is a common Wordpress functionality with lots of instructional resources on the net. Here’s a link to a YouTube video outlining instruction for adding Categories to Menu: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZyGshiMJN4Q
Did you come up with a solution fro the Twitter feed issue that you can share with us.

After a few more rounds with support, I have to say that they have helped me out a ton! While the theme can sometimes be a bit hard to wrangle to your needs, support has been very kind in answering my questions!
Thanks so much for your feedback my friend. We’re so glad you’re happy with our services. You absolutely rock!!
Hi. When I installed the Karma theme, i could not find a file named Karma.zip. So I installed: “themeforest-168737-karma-clean-and-modern-wordpress-theme-wordpress”_theme insted. Is this wrong, and will everything work?
It seems that when I choose layout tamplates “jQuery2” it only showes half of the page, down to “lates from the blog”.
It sounds like you may have downloaded the correct file.
We’ll just need to take a closer peak behind the scenes to see what has been installed and if all has been installed correctly.

Hi, and thanks for the feedback. I am not getting any further because I don’t seem to have any purchase code, so I am not getting in contact with HelpDesk. Sorry..

Yes, I looked for the code there, but the “License certificat” line is missing. I have sent email

Hi there. It’s great to find your lovely theme!
I have a question, can I add a video between images on homepage slider? Because the only sample I saw is this http://themes.truethemes.net/Karma/pages/homepage-video-left (it’s stand alone video, not included to the slider).
Sorry for making you confuse due my bad english
No worries at all my friend – you speak very good english indeed ;D
Yes adding a video to the slider can be done using the “Featured Video” section of the Post-editing screen.
From within the WP Dashboard click on ‘Posts > Add New’. On this page you’ll see a “Featured Video” box in the right hand column of the screen. Simply insert the URL to the YouTube/Vimeo video into that field and you’ll be all good to go.
We hope this information is helpful my friend.
Thanks for your very kind respond
firstly your product looks great and I’m interested in it but i have one question before hand, well one question broken up into many anyhow
the contact page, can this be customized?
what I’m specifically considering is to use the contact page disguised as something else entirely. i would want to change the names of the fields. ie instead of having name, can i call it anything else i wanted?
can i have as many fields as i wanted? ie not just first and last name but say four or five fields.
can i make specific fields mandatory before the form can be sent/lodged?
can i change the name of of the “send message” button to whatever i wished?
i appreciate your help
Thanks so much for your Karma interest my friend.
Good news! Everything you’ve listed comes built into the Karma theme.
Karma comes with a very easy-to-use contact form builder. This form builder enables you to create forms with an unlimited amount of fields, customizable field names, specify whether a field is required, specify the “send message” button text.
Once a form is created it can be inserted into any page template. So for example you do not need to use the same contact page isted on the demo site. A contact form could be listed on the homepage, etc. You have full control over look of contact page.
Hope this information is helpful for you.
Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to assist.
I have a question:
I Can´t find how to create a IMAGE GALLERY 3D
Could you say me where can i find the instruccions, please??
Thanks a lot and excuse me for my english.
The 3D gallery is set up the same way as the additional 3D sliders. When creating the slider simply choose the supplied ZIP file for 3D Gallery and everything will be formatted nicely for you. There are 4 3D Gallery files to choose from: ie. CU3ER_3D Thumbnails – Dark.zip
Here’s a video outlining how to create the 3D slider: http://vimeopro.com/truethemes/karma-wordpress-theme/video/29517578
This time I am wondering how compatible is the Yoast SEO plugin with this theme? My site is having some trouble ranking in even the most descriptive key words. Which SEO plugin would you recommend for this theme? Any other advice would be much appreciated.
I was wondering if I could add a picture of the person in my testimonial slider and how?
How can I change the font of the menu, or dropdowns?
Thank you so much! (:
Thanks so much for your interest in the Karma theme.
As per your questions:
1. We’ve not worked much with the Yoast SEO Plugin however Karma comes packed with custom-modified version of the All-in-One SEO Plugin.
2. The testimonial slider does not currently have the ability for pictures.
3. Karma has built-in Typography options that gives full control over the fonts of various elements throughout the theme. We’re also happy to provide the CSS if there is any font you’d like to change which is not included in the Site Options Panel.
Hope this information is helpful my friend. Please feel free to give us a shout with any further questions.
is there a way to choose a main nav color (where the links are at the top) as white or offwhite instead of the other colors? I see a lot of colors to choose from but not white for the theme
Apologies my friend but a White Color Scheme is not currently an available option.
You might be interested in creating your own custom color scheme by following the details outlined in this HelpDesk Article: https://support.truethemes.net/?faq=how-to-change-the-headerfooter-background-image
Hope this information is helpful my friend.
Hello and thanks for this nice Theme.
Could you please tell me how i could change the Slide time of the Testimonials?
Yes sure thing my friend.
Hi. Very nice Theme and great learning videos! There is one thing I cant figure out. Where do I change the little text underneath the menu (names). Like in CONTACT “Get in Touch”. Thanks
Hi again. You dont have to answer my last question, because, I found it out from the great videos.

I am thinking of buying the themeforest theme called Karma. I am building an ecommerece Jewelry website and I will need to show multiple pictures of each product. Is there a plug-in that will allow me to do this seemlessly with the Karma theme? Or is there a way to do this in the theme itself? If not, can you suggest any themeforest ecommerce themes that would allow me to show multiple images of each product. Thank you
Thank you so much for your interest in Karma.
The items you’ve described work very nicely with the Karma theme. You’ll simply need to install the very popular (and free) WooCommerce Plugin.
Your entire online shop will be powered by WooCommerce and you’ll not need to customize anything within the Karma theme. Simply add your products, configure your shop, and Karma will do all the heavy lifting for you.
Please feel free to give us a shout with any additional questions.
i noticed when I add subpages that the menu breaks apart meaning the color has a space gap when i hover over the top nav then their is a break and shows the menu items. i’ve seen this in multiple browsers. have you experienced this?
also how to i add the color shadow for all nav items (ie. in your live demo you see the color change for features, pages, gallery but it does not continue when you hover over blog or shop. i want the darker color to show up when i hover regardless if there are menu items. thanks!
We’re very happy to assist you my friend. We’ll just need to take a closer look behind the scenes to get a better idea of how things are mapped out on your website.
I need help I need to have the woocommerce product page sidebar menu on left side and with default style.
Currently looking like this: http://prntscr.com/1btb76
Need to be like this : http://prntscr.com/1btb8x
How can I achieve this?
We’re very happy to assist you my friend.
A left-nav page template is not currently available by default for the WooCommerce sections.
You might be interested in using WooCommerce’s Template Override feature, which will enable you to custom-code templates for your WooCommerce sections.
This feature is known as “template overriding” and you can check out this article on our HelpDesk outlining more details outlining this process: https://support.truethemes.net/?knowledgebase=woocommerce-plugin-template-overriding-karma-wordpress-theme
We’re unavailable for custom coding work however if you need any clarification on the above items please kindly submit a ticket on our secure HelpDesk so that our dedicated support team can gladly provide further assistance.
