Thanks so much
i need to customize a few thing in th e layout for my client, but i am unsure of how to do it.
First, I do not wish to have the comments i the upper header, they are distracting and generally would prefer to have the navigation there,
Second I can not seem to get the main menu to show up on my pages… AT ALL.
this is the first of a couple things i need to do . please respond with how to remedy this.
Hi There my friend,
We’re very happy to review your requests and help to provide guidance. We might ask to send over some screenshots of your intended modifications so we have a better idea of the desired outcome.

I have purchased the Karma theme and love the features. However I have lost the color changing functionality on mouseover for my main menu. How do I solve this problem?
Hi there my friend,
We are very happy to take a closer look at your website and help you to resolve.
I would like to change the width of the sidebar. I could not find topic about it in the KnowledgeBase. Any way to achieve it?
Hey There my friend,
Truly sorry but there’s not currently a built-in method for increasing the sidebar width.
The sidebar width can definitely be increased by making CSS code modifications to the theme.
This type of coding customization is unfortunately a theme modification which is not covered in the premium support for this theme.
If you’re in need of professional coding assistance we’ve got 2 highly trusted partners for all of your Wordpress customization needs. WPQuestions.com and Codeable.io
Please give us a shout if we can help answer any questions along the way.
Hello sir, small question , how can we remove the ”>” bullets in the side bar , as it doesnt look nice when we add forms to the left or right side bars , tysm
We’re very happy to assist you my friend.
We’ll just need some more details (URL to webpage) that you’d like to change.
I go to Pages >> Add New. Under templates list menu, there is just Contact (iPhone) but no Contact (Google map).
But in you live preview, there exist a template page for that.
Apologies but Karma does not currently have a Google Map Contact Page Template.
The Contact iPhone template can be used and a Google map can then be added to that page.
The upcoming Karma 4.0 (which is weeks late on launch) has an all new Google Map Contact Page with Full Width Google Map. We’re just waiting on 3rd-party vendor for extensive mobile testing and optimization on Karma 4.0 and we’ll be submitting the second we get the green light to go.
If there’s anything we can do to help with your Google Map please kindly submit a ticket on our secure HelpDesk so that our dedicated support team can gladly assist you further.
Is there any easy way to add flags ( linkable ) to the top bar and align right, so that is responsive as well ?
Yes. If you are referring to translating your website into multiple languages and displaying flags for each language the easiest method is to translate your website using the WPML Plugin and then simply drag it’s included ‘flag display widget’ into the top bar.
WPML Plugin: http://wpml.org
Here are some more details about website translation:
The comprehensive and more ‘professional’ solution is achieved via the WPML Plugin: http://wpml.org
WPML is a very powerful plugin that enables you to provide translated text for every part of your website. Please note however that WPML does require you to provide the translated text. This is the most accurate and professional method of translating a website.
Another great and much quicker/easier option is by using the Google Wordpress Translator Plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/google-translator/
Google Translate is an awesome service that enables you to begin translating your website within minutes. The only downside is that Google uses “machine translation” which means that things like grammar, proper language may not always be rendered correctly during a translation.
Both great options. Just depends on your desired needs.

Hi, thank for this theme, but I have a question:
RTL language support ?
Thanks so much for your Karma interest my friend.
Karma is not currently an RTL theme out of the box however many past clients have had great success using the WP-RTL Plugin in conjuction with Karma theme: http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-rtl/
Please know that depending on the level of RTL that your website requires you may need to make adjustments to the CSS as well.
Please let us know if there’s anything else at all we can do to help.
Love the theme!
Question: Is it possible to have some graphics / logos in the bottom part of the footer menu? (between copyright on the left and the “top” link in the right)
Thanks in advance.
Also is it possible to pick custom colours for site appearance? Client wants a lighter shade of blue than is available in the the ‘Styling and CSS’ section.
Hi my friend,
We’re very happy to assist you with your inquiries.
The first item is indeed possible however depending on the site’s exact requirements will require uploading a custom ‘footer-bottom’ graphic.
Creating a custom color scheme is also indeed possible. The current version of Karma requires custom imagery to be used and you can find full instruction on our TrueThemes HelpDesk: https://support.truethemes.net/?faq=how-to-change-the-headerfooter-background-image
The soon to be released Karma 4.0 has a built-in color-picker for very easy color scheme customization.
If there’s anything else at all we can do to help please kindly submit a ticket on our secure HelpDesk so that our dedicated support team can gladly assist you further.
Thanks for the speedy reply.
Does your theme support the following Danish letters: ØÆÅ/øæå
Thanks in advance
Hi J. Andersen,
Yes we’ve just tested those characters and they render beautifully within Karma.
Hi, this theme looks gorgeous. Is it possible to add a sidebar to the home page?
Thank you so much for your kind words and interest in the Karma theme.
The content area of the homepage is completely customizable so you could for example use the 2/3 + 1/3 column layout which would give the appearance of a sidebar. This however would not be a “true” sidebar so unable to drag-drop widgets into it.
We’re so incredibly anxious to release the next version of Karma which enables you to easily add a slider to any page template. In new version you can for example choose the left sidebar page template and drop in any one of the (6) available sliders. We’re just waiting on a 3rd-party vendor for (hopefully) final round of mobile device testing, then updated Karma will be released to the public.
Hope this is helpful my friend.
Thanks for the reply! I had hoped to put secondary navigation somewhere on the home page. I’ll have to contemplate digging into the code—its perfect in every other way. Congrats on the upcoming release.
Sure thing my friend
Yes in Karma 4.0 you’ll be able to use the “Left Nav” page template as your homepage and have secondary nav very quickly and easily.
For now an option might be to use the 2/3 + 1/3 layout we mentioned above and use an unordered list as a secondary nav.
Best of luck on your project my friend.
Excellent! I look forward to it.
Cheers to you
I have purchased the Karma Theme and can completely recommend it. The training videos are wonderful, very clear and concise with detailed instructions and demonstration. The Technical Support has also been wonderful, the response time on a issue I had was phenomenal, plus the solution to my issue was provided in a very clear manner.
I will be using Karma on my next project as well.
Hi Janet, Thank you so very much for your feedback.
We’re absolutely elated that everything has worked out nicely for you.
It’s been a pleasure working with you and we hope we can serve you on many projects to come.
In my wordpress version I don’t have the form created that was said to be located on the contact page about the menus. I see the examples on the knowledgebase but when I go to the theme it doesn’t show any reason or solution for that?
Very sorry…we’re not 100% certain what you are asking however it sounds like you’re asking why there is not a contact form on the contact page? Is this correct?
If so all contact forms within Karma are created using the powerful built-in point-and-click form builder.
Here’s a training video outlining full details for creating form: http://vimeopro.com/truethemes/karma-wordpress-theme/video/29413349
Hope this is helpful B.
My question pertains to the form builder. In the wordpress version I don’t see where the builder is as it shows in the videos. It’s not there and I want to know why is that? Also I have been trying to sign-up for knowledgebase and it says and error message when i put in my purchase code. Can you help please..
It sounds like we’ll need to log into your website to fully determine why the form builder is not showing however here is an item to check for:
Check that the built-in Form Builder has not been disabled. From within WP Dashboard click Appearance > Options > Forms to ensure that the “Form Builder” checkbox is “checked”.
If indeed checked and still not working, our support and development team will need to further troubleshoot your website.
If unable to setup Support Account, please kindly email us with your requested credentials and we’ll manually create your support account for you. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with following info:
your email address:
...and we’ll manually create your support account.
Thank you so very much and our apologies for any hangups.
Thanks for the response. The form builder is checked. I will email you and hopefully we ca nfix this
If I have more than one column in the footer, the alignment will be off on smartphone screen size.
Can you help with that ?
Column alignment is all good on our end however we are very happy to take a closer look behind the scenes and help you to resolve.
I would like to know if i want to use this website as my company adn display my products.
Is there any way i can give an option in the gallery to download my catalogue.
Please reply as soon as possible.
(please see comment below)
Also is it possible to change the color of the products at the moment by the customer to get a better view of the product?
In response to both of your questions:
- Yes you can indeed add a link to download your product catalog. This link can be in any number of places such as in product description, sidebar, etc.
- Yes. It sounds like using Karma’s WooCommerce capabilities will be your best bet for product display. The products can be left without a price which will disable the shopping cart and you can use WooCommerce’s built-in Product Variations options to show different variations of the same product: http://docs.woothemes.com/document/product-variations/
Hope this information is helpful.
Thank you so much seems amazing
And is it possible to configure it with Mail chimp since their is a newsletter option mentioned on the website?
Karma comes fully compatible with MailChimp Plugin for very easy addition of newsletter signup to your website.
Hi, great theme.
I would like to make one or two customizations to the core files as well as a few style changes. The changes I need are not possible within your theme options so I’ll need to create a child theme to work with. I did notice a child theme in your tutorial videos but it wasn’t included in the files I downloaded. Was I supposed to get one? If not, is it okay if I create a child?
The Karma Child Theme can be downloaded directly from here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/7008416/Karma-Child-Theme.zip
Great, thank you.
I need to create library/page with documents/links for docs for downloading , what is the best way to do it in theme ?
Hmm…tough to say without a bit more details about the library. Is this a massive library of files or just a small bit of files that will continue to grow?
If the latter we recommend just using Wordpress’ built-in Media functionality.
- Choose a page template of your choice (full width or right sidebar) and begin adding the files using the normal media upload tool.
Here’s what seems a pretty good tutorial on uploading PDF’s within Wordpress: http://www.e3ngage.com/wordpress/how-to-add-pdfs-by-uploading-into-wordpress/
Hope this is helpful for you.
Thanks , was really helpful.
Awesome theme and great tutorials!
You’re very welcome!
Thank you so much for taking your time to provide feedback.
