Asked for support on how to fix a problem created by a revision in a TrueThemes-posted article and got a snippy answer that it must be user-error. Terrible customer service. I can’t recommend TrueThemes, as much as I like the template. You are on your own if you buy it.
We’re truly sorry you feel this way my friend. We’ve got nearly 18,000 resolved tickets with barely any negative feedback.
We’re happy to re-visit the Ticket to see if there is indeed another solution to the issue.
Can you kindly post the Ticket ID Number or simply post a reply within the Ticket and we’ll gladly have a second look.
We’re on our side my friend.
Thanks so much
My experience with True Themes has been excellent and they exceeded my expectations especially in service and support. I am a beginner using Wordpress and made several requests for help. A reply was received as quickly as 2 hours and no longer than 24 hours. True Themes is absolutely top rate. I would most definitely purchase other products from them.
All the best,
Thanks so much Jill
It’s our great pleasure serving you and we look forward to many great things to come in the future.
Is it possible to erase the bullets under the slider?

I’m using the polylang plugin and i have some problems and i’m hoping you can help me by answering some questions. Are there the corresponding .mo files? Polylang downloads the default themes (Twenty Ten, Twenty Eleven, Twenty Twelve…, so if this theme is not internationalized yet, can you please do it for me??
We’re very happy to assist.
The .mo/.po files are located in the root directory of the Karma theme. They are labeled “en_US.mo” and “en_US.po”. (ie. wp-content/themes/Karma/en_US.mo)

After installing Karma WP theme (3.0.4), the admin is EXTREMLY SLOW. Adding a post becomes impossible.
Can anyone help please?
Sure thing Tom,
We see that a support ticket has been opened regarding this issue. Our response seems to have resolved the issue for you however if any additional questions please continue communication via the Ticket and we’ll gladly get you all sorted.
Thanks TrueThemes, my problem is solved (I disabled Notifier in SiteOptions). Quick answer, good job!
Excellent. So happy to hear it
Please help. Somehow my footer appears on the top of just one of my pages. http://www.cobaltblueaust.com.au/products/housekeeping-cleaners/
I’m tearing my hair out trying to figure out why!
It is very likely that there is an additional [div] tag added somewhere in the content of the page which is causing the footer layout to “break”.
We’re very happy to take a closer look and try to help you pinpoint this extra tag.
What custom css do I have to type to be able to change the website color scheme.
The custom CSS will depend on the desired changes to the theme’s color scheme.
Here’s a HelpDesk article outlining details for a fully custom color scheme in Karma theme: https://support.truethemes.net/?faq=how-to-change-the-headerfooter-background-image
Hello, this theme was purchased by my client and I’ve been setting it up. It’s very nice. However, we’ve run into a snag. We’re using the popuppress plugin http://codecanyon.net/item/popuppress-popups-with-slider-lightbox-for-wp/5197157 and when we enter the shortcode on a page all the shortcodes we’re using from the theme print a ‘raw’ open/close shortcode tag to the rendered html. http://cms.s8demo3.com/sestus/products/virtual-token-mfa/advantages/ I’ve contacted the plugin developer who says the issue is with the theme.
Sure thing my friend.
We’ll just need to take a closer peak behind the scenes to check out the plugins code and provide solution.
Recently, making a blog post with a featured video in the jquery 2 homepage, the video overlaps the window and does not shrink to fit like it used to. Not sure if there was an update to a plugin that caused this to happen or it is because of the newer version of WP. Any idea what could be causing?
We’re not experiencing this issue on our end running latest version of Wordpress.
We’re very happy to take a closer look behind the scenes and help you to resolve.
I found out that the Jetpack plugin was causing the issue. The plugin is active still, but when I sign in with my WP login, that is when the video appears larger than the window pane slider. Just thought I should let you know…
Excellent. Thanks so much for the details my friend – we’ll definitely check this out and implement any necessary fixes.
I purchased this theme the early part of this year and have had a computer crash. I would like to download it again but the link is not under my downloads, is there anyway it can be put back or e-mailed to firstname.lastname@example.org? I still have this site up at http://www.rochellejonesministry.org but can not upgrade.
Yes this should indeed likely be possible however we do not have access to any of the Downloads or Accounts here on ThemeForest.net.
Please kindly reach out to the Envato Support team and they should be able to get your account all squared away.
They can be reached at: http://support.envato.com/

I bought the Karma theme because of the fabulous training videos and excellent design. The responsive functionality works on every imaginable platform as well. So, I built a lovely website all by myself but ran into problems trying to set up a YouTube video on the right-nav homepage. That’s when I discovered the limits of this vendor’s support for this product as evidenced in ticket 25732.
The first response contained a blatant code error and a snippy remark to look at a less-than-thorough article I had already read. The second response told me the video was too big. I changed it to the specified size and the problem persists. After three detailed posts to further report on variables that may affect the problem—guess what I got? No more response. How’s that for customer service?
I will find another way to fix or work around this problem and another vendor for my next theme. As an experienced user remarked in a previous post-I cannot recommend TrueThemes, as much as I like the template.
Thanks so much for all the details.
I’ve just reviewed the ticket with a completely fresh pair of eyes and it seems that things are on track and our support team has been super helpful in providing assistance and solutions to your inquiries.
I understand you’re probably flat out tired of any back and forth and just want your video to work the way you want it. Totally understandable my friend.
I ask that you please take a small step back, and try to respectfully recognize that we’re truly doing everything in our power to accommodate you. and we are 100% on your side and willing to continue until you’re satisfied.
Here’s the ticket just in case any public interest in seeing how this ticket is in our opinion right on track with our full and utmost respect and support:
DO i need something installed to get the testimonial slider to work>>>> all the testimonials show up without the slide.
Nope the testimonial slider just requires a single checkbox in order to function nicely.
We’ve added this feature to reduce unnecessary code from those websites which will not utilize the testimonial slider.
Here’s an FAQ from our HelpDesk outlining all the details: https://support.truethemes.net/?faq=testimonial-slider
Hope this is helpful my friend.
PS for everybody that reads this: Truethemes (and its supportteam!) RULES! Very good service! Buy themes!!
Thanks so much for your kind words my friend. You absolutely rock!!
Iwould like to know if jquery and jquery2 for Karma can be sized other than the default also is it possible to have navigation or side bar on jquery page?
Thx in advance
Sincere apologies but the jQuery sliders cannot be re-sized (without customizing the theme’s code).
There is also not currently an option for adding sidebar however this feature is right around the corner in the next release of Karma.
You will receive this free update as soon as it’s released. We’re hesitant to provide launch date since we’ve already totally missed the mark on this one, but please know we are 4 guys all working hard to wrap up the updates and get launched very very soon. This is the biggest most comprehensive overhaul to Karma since it’s original launch. MANY amazing new stuff to enjoy.
If there’s anything else at all we can do to help during your website setup please kindly submit a ticket on our secure HelpDesk so that our dedicated support team can gladly provide assistance.
many thx for reply. Look forward to new changes and well done for work so far
With this theme Can I make an online calculator like this???
Thanks so much for your Karma interest my friend.
An online calculator is not an included function however you might be interested in checking out CodeCanyon for some great WP Plugin options: http://codecanyon.net/search?utf8=%E2%9C%93&term=wordpress+calculator
Hope this is helpful my friend. Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to assist.

I am thinking about purchasing your template. I would like to use a specific font that doesn’t seem to appear on your font list (and is not a Google default font). Can I do so?
Also I would like the website I’m creating to show two different styles for different pages, can that be done through 1 license (e.g. use the royal blue and the fire themes)?
Thanks so much for your interest in the Karma theme.
Yes there are a variety of options for using custom fonts within Wordpress. Google fonts is most popular for delivering Web Fonts however there are other services, most of which have Wordpress plugins, for serving up web fonts. Here’s a great article and you can also Google search for additional information on available web font services: http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2010/10/20/review-of-popular-web-font-embedding-services/
- Design Styles
Yes. Karma comes with dropdown menus for selecting a custom color scheme on indivudal pages. For example the homepage can be royal blue and the contact page can be fire. Since this is all within the same website, only a single license is required.
We hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to assist.
Thank for your rapid response. I will be buying your template shortly! (I like your entire portfolio in fact and should one of my clients need a site, i’ll be looking here again!)
Thank you so very much! We’re very excited to serve you and we hope to have many great successes together.
Very happy with the theme.
One question: Is there a way to have the gallery show more than 10 images?
Since I’m using “Portfolio :: 4 Columns” there are only two images on the bottom row before pushing to the next page.
Yes sure thing.
The amount of Gallery items displayed can be adjusted from within the Wordpress settings.
- From WP Dashboard click on: Settings > Reading
- Next to “Blog pages show at most” enter the amount of Posts to display.
- Save and rejoice
We hope this information is helpful for you my friend.
Hey, that’s great. I appreciate it!
First, I bought this theme about a year ago, and even though my “limited” knowledge is very weak, your expert customer support and incredibly well thought out theme has been a GREAT buffer in helping me build my own professional website without being 100% dependent on someone else. Thanks for that!
I want to add a few more links in the upper right hand corner above the Main Navigation. The toolbar has the best look for me, but it only appears on the far left.
my first option would be to move the tool bar to the “far right” somehow, and then if I must, use the “widgets” instead. But with the “widgets” I don’t get the nice darker colored bar that runs all the way across the screen like I do with the toolbar..
Thanks in advance for your help.
Thank you very much for taking the time to provide your feedback. We really appreciate your kind words and we’re so pleased to hear you’ve been enjoying the Karma theme.
As per your question, it sounds like utiizing the top-toolbar + Widgets is the best solution.
The right side of top-toolbar can also accept links. The simplest method is to create a custom “menu” and then use the Wordpress “Custom Menu” Widget and drag it into the “Top-Toolbar Right” position.
Here’s a quick overview for doing so:
- From within WP Dashboard click on Appearance > Menus.
- Create a new Menu and add any links that you’d like. You can add pages, posts, categories, or completely custom links. Save this new Menu.
- Now click on Appearance > Widgets and drag the “Custom Menu” widget into the “Top-Toolbar Right” section located on right column of this screen.
- Select your custom menu from the dropdown within the Widget and click Save. That’s it! Your toolbar-right will now display the list of links.
Hi – I’m having an issue with the Testimonial slider. It seems to be creating an extra blank ‘page’ after each testimonial, so while I have 3 quotes, the slider show 6 button alternating a blank space in between each one. Solutions? Suggestions?
Hi There my friend,
We’ve not run into this on our end so we’ll just need to take a closer look behind the scenes of your website and gladly help you to resolve.
