I’ve bought this theme and in many ways it looks great. However, I am having troubles with at least these two issues… can you help?
Slider pics do not appear
Picures don’t appear in sliders (slider posts do not show up). I choose jQuery2 Category for the sliders and no matter if I make full-width images in Photoshop exactly the same size as required (840×270 pixels) they don’t appear.
Cannot make header to appear on the left side.
Header can be a left footer and a right header line. In KARMA you can choose if the left one or the right one is to be displayed (or both). But when I am in menus I define the header but I want it to appear on the left side, I cannot to that. I can just define one header which appears in left header. I cannot make it to appear on the right side. So when I click off left header, my defined header dissappears but choosing the right header to appear only makes some strange text appear (and I cannot change this text): “Add Social Networks Widget in WP Dashboard: Appearance > Widgets”. So my result is that I can only make the header appear on the left side.
Would be great to get this solved – I’m on the edge of moving to Dreamweaver to do the job in standard HTML.
Sure thing H, we’re very happy to assist.

I just updated to Karma Theme 4.0.
Totally easy and flawless process, I even used the opportunity to update my company’s site and add some few new perks like a fixed (in place) top bar with the company’s phone number, doing this was a breeze thanks to Karma’s theme Knowledge base and terrific support theme.
I love this Theme and as a marketing guy I am just amazed of how much value you get with the Theme investment: You get a Theme and a Team behind it! (sorry, I couldn’t resist the pun). Thank you guys!
You’re very welcome! Thank you so much for your kind words! It’s truly a pleasure serving you!
i purchased the Karma Theme but the demo content XML file is missing ?
someone help please as i have put a ticket in days ago and not heard a thing
what do i do with no demo xml file or how do i get it ?
We’re very happy to assist.
Karma comes with a custom-built plugin which will automatically install the demo content and a setup a variety of items throughout the site. (think of it as XML content on steroids
This plugin is located within the Karma download package here: 1. Demo Content/karma-theme-demo-content-generator.zip

I am a bit disappointed it is very complicated template but also I trying to activate my Revolution Sliders I have a error message “Purchase Code is Invalid”

I use the Sterling theme for my website http://promenade.no/
I am considering buying the Karma theme for another project. Is the coding and functionality about the same as for the Sterling theme?
Thank you so much for supporting our products
Yes some of the file structure is a bit different but the functionality and overall coding logic are very similar between both themes.
Hi, my dear friend, how are you! Thank you very much for great help.
May I ask if there is any possibility to add a ” Check Now” button in JQuery1 slider of homepage? When the customer enter the homepage, he can click the “call to action” button in Jquery 1 Slider to arrive at another page. Could you add a shortcode for me?
Secondly, I’ve just installed Ultimate Tinymce plugin on Dashboard. So I can modify the font style such as Size of H1, etc. However, it doesn’t appear in the page when modifying the posts. May I know what’s the problem.
Sure thing Qing, we’re very happy to help out.

I work for a medium sized not-for-profit agency in Indiana and we are looking to purchase a new Wordpress Theme. Upon reviewing the capabilities of Karma, I think it may be a good fit for our needs. However, I have a few questions. I was reading about the $55 license details and wanted to seek some clarification . . . would we be able to make changes to the format/layout of our website at any time? Or are we locked into the design once we have it go live? Can we add and remove pages on our website at any time?
Additionally, we have a custom color scheme for our agency already in place – just wanted to be sure we could use our agency colors within this theme?
Thank you so much for your interest in the Karma theme
In response to your questions:
1. Yes the license includes the full ability to edit the theme, add/remove pages, etc.
2. Yes Karma comes with admin tools which enable the selection of custom color scheme.
Hope these details are helpful.
Hello. I’m using the theme to design a website for a client, and it just works GREAT. I’ve used many themes before but this is the best, hands down.
The client however has a few demands I can’t figure out myself, so maybe you guys can help me out:
- she askes if it’s possible to have the same kind of buttons for the 3rd level navigation;
- if it’s possible to change to color of the slides (on my page ‘Veel gestelde vragen’ under the ‘Spray Tan’ button in the main menu).
Hope you can help me out here!
Greetz from Belgium!

Hi. I have a site I would like to convert to Wordpress and use the Karma theme. It has a forum powered by the old standalone bbpress – can it be linked in the karma theme even though there doesn’t seem to be support for it? And then is direct support for bbpress planned at all?
Thank you so much for your interest in the Karma theme.
BBPress is compatible with all wordpress themes however there might be certain elements which are ‘not so pretty’ depending on the output of the BBPress content. Things should be good to go minus some possible text formatting, etc.
Here is overview of BBPress compatibility: http://codex.bbpress.org/theme-compatibility/
We’ve not immediate plans for converting Karma to fully BBpress-ready however Karma is a very organic project and always evolving so only time will tell.
Please let us know if anything else at all we can do to assist.
I love this template and I want to purchase it for my website but there is one thing I need to know first. Is there any way to have a menu that stays at the top of the page when I scroll down?
It’s a very popular feature and you have it in most of your themes (i.e. Enfold) and I find it hard to believe that it’s not included in this theme but I couldn’t find any examples of it.
There’s currently not a fixed header option however we’re working on a development version which includes a very elegant version of a fixed header. No ETA at this time however likely launch before the end of the week.
I’m glad to hear that. Can I purchase it now and then download the update in the next week or so?
BTW for how long will I be allowed to download updated versions of the theme?
Yes, absolutely. Theme updates are free for life
An email notification gets sent out when new versions of the theme become available.
Merci d’avance.
We’re very happy to take a closer look behind the scenes and help to find a solution.

I’m unable to install the parent theme. It’s telling me the stylesheet is missing, though when I open the Karma.zip file, I see style.css in there. What am I missing? Thanks
It worked when I uploaded the folder via FTP. It just didn’t work on the Wordpress Dashboard upload. All set. Thanks! Looking forward to working with the theme.
Awesome. Happy to hear it!
Is your theme compatible with quForm and Visual Composer plugins?
Thanks a lot for your interest in the Karma theme.
We’ve not worked with the above plugins so we’re unable to provide much details. We can say that we’ve not heard any negative feedback about these plugins so very likely all will work nicely.
I was testing your theme in my mobile and noticed that the menu doesn’t show all the links as the one in the desktop version. Wonder if that is supposed to be the way you guys set it up… THANKS!
Yes the mobile menu comes in 2 variations. The default variation is to display all pages within the mobile menu and the alternate variation is to ‘disable sub-pages’ within the mobile menu. We’ve chosen to ‘disable sub pages’ on the live demo site.
Hi True Themes Team,
How can I change the size of the featured image in the blog posts shortcodes? I am referring to the small thumbs layout on this page: http://themes.truethemes.net/Karma-4.0/shortcodes/latest-blog-posts/ . I would like to make it at least double of the image size.
Thanks in advance!
There’s currently no built-in method for customizing the shortcode image sizes however with sufficient PHP and CSS knowledge this can be customized.
- The PHP code for this function is located on line 859 of this file: ../Karma/framework/shortcodes.php
- The CSS for this shortcode starts on line 5703 of this file: ../Karma/style.css
We’re currently unavailable for custom coding work however if you’re in need of professional coding assistance we’ve got 2 highly trusted partners for all of your Wordpress customization needs. WPQuestions.com and Codeable.io
Thanks! I already found how to change the image dimensions by myself, but the image looks pixel-ate. Any idea how to have better image quality?
We’re happy to take a closer look and try to help resolve the issue.

I am thinking about buying this theme for a client’s website.
Is there a money back guarantee if we find out that it does not the things we need ? if so, how long do we have to ensure the theme is right for our project ?
Our return policy is not set in stone so if during your website setup you learn that Karma will not be the right fit for your project simply let us know and we’ll gladly provide a refund.
