Question on Galleries…
Is there any way to create a NON-filterable gallery? I have several pages and categories that each have pictures. I also wanted a separate page that shows ALL of the pictures without the option to filter through the categories. The reason for this is since there are so many categories, the top of the page looks messy with all the filterable choices.
There’s currently not a ‘non-filterable gallery’ option however it sounds like a small bit of CSS code can help achieve the desired outcome.
Simply write a single CSS rule that hides the “filtering navigation” and all categories will be hidden for a nice clean gallery page displaying all items.
If you need guidance on the custom CSS please use the links below to submit a Ticket on our TrueThemes HelpDesk and our dedicated support team can gladly provide guidance.
Looks great, I like everything but need to have a theme that includes or supports WP Bakery or Visual Composer? Does Karma have that? Thanks!
Not at this time no. We absolutely do have plans for this though.
Is it possible to get same demo content as in live preview? The content I got with zip is having less pages.
Yes sure thing my friend.
We’re unable to provide an exact replica of the online demo due to licensing restrictions on the images being used.
The included demo content has all of the page template variations and simply leaves out the “content pages” which are repeated versions of the same page template.
If there’s a particular page that you’d like we are very happy to provide.

Karma Theme HAS the BEST support ever ??? Maybe, but no answer for my topic…

I love the theme Just in the process of updating from 3.0.1 to the latest version. Lot’s of work but the improvements are worth it.
Just one question. In my older version the site option were in English which is fine for me. In the newest version, the site options are (automatically) in German – which would be fine but the translation is so poor (I assume you used machine translation), that some things are almost impossible to understand and I’m guessing my way throught it most of the time or use trial and error… Is there a way to set the language – for the Karma site options only – back to English? It not – it would be really great if you could improve the translation in future versions. Like this, it’s really not helpful at all.
Our sincere apologies for the machine translation.
To remove the german language please kindly locate the “languages” folder in the Karma theme. (/Karma/languages/)
Within “languages” folder simply delete the German translation which are these 2 files: de_DE.mo / de_DE.po
Once those files are deleted the English translation will automatically be displayed.
If you require any assistance with this we are more than happy to lend a hand. Simply use the links below to submit a Ticket on our HelpDesk and our dedicated support team can gladly provide additional assistance.
thanks for the fast reply.
Worked nicely. What a relief
Hey, First off Kudos to you guys on the theme! It’s awesome!
I have a question or two though …or maybe a request for a fix.
1) Is it possible to rearrange the the way the gallery categories show on a page? It looks like the categories arrange themselves alphabetically on the page.
2) The Parallex Banner isn’t sliding when mobile. I’ve used the exact dimensions and padding as http://themes.truethemes.net/Karma-4.0/sliders/parallax-banner/ 2200×900 with 250px padding but when I shrink my browser the image stays fixed. Is there a setting I’m missing somewhere? http://608.975.myftpupload.com/ Do I need a fix?
Thanks in advance
Also, 3) is there a way to shrink the space above and below the main menu? There seems to be alot of wasted space making the header huge and the logo too small.
ahh, forget #3…I figured it out. =)
Hi my friend,

Quick question… I know its weird but, is there any plugin that adds Password to Appearance, Settings, Pages and more.. except to the Post at the back end of my site? This is for my client so it allows to update their blog by themselves. please let me know. oh by the way… Nice Theme!
Not weird at all
Wordpress has built-in “user roles” which limit one’s ability on the back-end of the site.
You’ll need to play around with the roles a bit but off the top of my head I believe the “Author” role sounds like it will work nicely for your client. “Authors” can create and publish posts/pages but they will not have access to Appearance, Settings, etc.
Here are more details about user roles: http://codex.wordpress.org/Roles_and_Capabilities
Hope this helps
Sure thing my friend, here you go: https://support.truethemes.net/?faq=add-descriptions-to-main-navigation-items
I am wanting to create two separate pages upon my website using the Google Map template but referencing two different locations.
As the iframe reference is hard coded through the sitebuilder, is there any way to manually insert the code into the wordpress page reader to reference a different location.
I am wanting to do this as the company that this website will be used for has two offices.
Any thoughts here? Thanks very much.
There’s currently not a built-in method for doing so however this can be achieved fairly easily by duplicating the Google Map page template within the theme.
We’re glad to provide additional guidance on this process.

There are Four pictures be shown taking turns by clicking the circles below the Jquery slider. How to make this? I can only make one picture by watching the video.
Could you please help me? Hope to get your great help.

Thank you very much for the kind words my friend.
To insert the 4 column images simply click on Karma’s Shortcode Tool and select “Full Width – 4 Columns + Images”.
Full details for inserting shortcodes can be found here: http://vimeopro.com/truethemes/karma-4/page/2

Hi, I am wondering whether I can use a non-Google web font with this theme?
Also, is the theme compatible with Visual Composer? I realize that you don’t include it, but if I purchase it, will it work with your theme?
This is a gorgeous theme so I hope the answer is yes!
Thanks so much for your interest in the Karma theme!
Non-Google fonts are indeed possible. Please just note that if a user does not have that font installed on their computer they will not see custom font being used.
We’ve not thoroughly tested Karma on Visual Composer but the various elements should indeed be compatible.
We’re days away from launching a Visual Composer Extension Plugin and then we’ll be working on a new update to Karma for fully optimized with Visual Composer. The future is bright!
It appears that thumbnail pictures take a while to load (spinning wheel). Do you have a recommended picture size or resolution to avoid this?
Yes we are very happy to review your website and provide the best image-size recommendations.
With respect, I am so disappointed in this theme as compared to other themes I have used, the drag and drop formatting is terrible, the shortcodes are terrible. I don’t know how people are saying it is the best theme they have used, they must not have used themes which I would like to mention here but feel I shouldn’t. You are welcome to message me and I will tell you which themes you can look at so you know where you have gone wrong.
We’re very sorry you feel this way my friend.
We wish you many great success on your website project with whichever theme you choose.
We have owned Karma for several years but are only now starting to use it.
Is there a way to create a landing page template without displaying the header or footer? Also, Is Karma compatible with WP Visual Composer by WP Bakery?
A splash page can be created using Karma’s “Splash Page” template. Simply create a page just like normal and select the “Splash Page” page-template. The header and footer will automatically be excluded.
As per Visual Composer we have not thoroughly tested Karma with this plugin however it should indeed work nicely without any issues.
If there’s anything else at all we can do to assist we are very happy to help.
Please simply use the links below to submit any question(s) as a Ticket on our TrueThemes HelpDesk and our dedicated support team can gladly provide further guidance.
I would like to thank TrueThemes, both for super fast and so effective support. Really appreciate that!
This is great value added to the theme, so I would like to recommend it.
Thanks Diogo! We’re so glad you’re enjoying the theme!
TrueThemes, your Karma theme has been such a joy to work with for nearly 2 years now. LOVE IT!
I have one question: If I wanted to “spice up” my Karma site with a fresh new design in the future, which web design companies/partners could you recommend?
Thank you so much for your kind words – we’re so glad you’re enjoying the Karma theme!
At this time we do have trusted partners for code customizations to the Karma theme however we do not currently have partners for design-related tasks.
When the time is right please simply reach out to us via our HelpDesk and we will gladly review the customizations and help to point you in the right direction. With workload permitting we may indeed be available for hire during that time.
Excellent, I’ll keep that in mind, thank you!
We are looking to add the icons you use in the footer for phone, email, location, etc… but can’t seem to figure out how you did it. Can you please give me instructions on how to do so?
Full details outlined in this HelpDesk article: https://support.truethemes.net/?knowledgebase=footer-icons-business-contact-details-karma
Great theme, using it for a long time. I would like to recommend it to friends and giving them a preset options files to upload in the theme, because most of my friends and users I will recommend it do not know how to set it up.
I can’t find a way to export / import theme options, did I miss something here ? Anyway to do it very easily ?
Sincere apologies my friend but an import/export of site options is currently unavailable.
