Hi,

I’m experiencing some problems with the theme. 1. I can’t add menu icons, there is no css box to add the code into (e.g. menu-icon-home). There is nowhere to put it. 2. My product images keep disappearing fir no reason. Do you have any ideas? Otherwise the theme is ideal.

Hi,

1. There is a “Screen options” tab on top right corner of menu admin page (Appearance > Menus). Click on it, and the options block will scroll down – under “Show advanced menu properties” there is a “CSS classes” checkbox – check it.
This will make appear additional field in each menu item so you can enter names of css selectors, as described in documentation, for example “menu-icon-home” ...

2. I really don’t have a clue why product images are disappearing ( it obviously shouldn’t happen :) ). It’s hard to say what it might went wrong without at least the site address … Can you send it ?

(a) which version of kauri I have installed; and

(b) which is the latest version?

Hi, Go to Appearance/Themes in your WP admin and click on Theme Details button. Next to the name Kauri should be version number. The latest version is 2.2.1.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have buy your theme and use for our e-commerce site www.balikopiluwak.net, we use paypal payment system on payment gateways, but after we received order notification with using paypal for the payment, but the mony not turn up on my paypal account ?

We have many time to ask Envato support, but on their email, after we provide complate data, finally they can’t explain us about this matter

Would you please advise us regarding this matter ?

Hi,

I’m really sorry to hear about your issues.

We, as authors of Kauri Theme are the last place to ask support about your issue. Kauri theme is not controlling anything about payments. Kauri is a theme, just a “visual layer” for data on site, and it’s neither the source of problem, nor we have any control to solve it.
Nevertheless, we’ll advise and explain the best we can:

  1. Payment gateways on your site are not controlled by Kauri theme. They are controlled by WooCommerce plugin
  2. Although WooCommerce is controlling payment gateways, if you’re not using PayPal Pro extension (or similar), no actual payment is happening on your site

I would say as a conclusion this – I believe that you can solve this problem in communication with PayPal ( I see that Envato support asked about PayPal Transaction ID ).

2 quick questions: 1. Does v2.2.1 include stylesheet css entries for WooCommerce 2.x? I’m having the issue with the item descriptions not displaying properly in the WooCommerce description tag. see http://wordpress.org/support/topic/description-and-reviews-tab-not-showing-after-update for info 2. How about support for WooCommerce’s product galleries and featured images? I had this issue http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-woocommerce-excelling-ecommerce-featured-image-not-an-option-on-product-page and had to add ‘product’ to the array in functions.php. I don’t normally like to touch php changes.

Any other items to look out for in an upgrade to Kauri 2.2? I just migrated from WPEC to WooCommerce.

we copied original (latest) woocommerce.css and adapted in theme, so if there are some visual complication, there might be some conflicts with other plugins or something similar … Did you disabled WPeC and removed completely ?

It’s a bit hard to assist with these issues when we cannot access your site …could you please provide your site address so we can inspect these issues ?

Yeah, the problem is in outdated Kauri version (I see you have 2.1.3 version … and the current available is 2.2.1). The products page (catalog) is also not showing properly – the WooCommerce styles should be disabled by theme … And yes, the tabs are also affected with that.

You should update Kauri to latest version and probably most issues will be solved.

But before update, first backup all, in case you’ll have to revert back (hopefully not … :))

Hi, we have updated WooCommerce to latest version and haven’t encountered any issue, however, we didn’t do the “in depth” test.

I believe there shouldn’t be any problems, but before update, backup all, just in case.
