I bought the Kickstart theme and he comes with the Rev Slider
But now we need to update the version of the plugin.
We need to buy it? or you support the update of the plugin, in that case where I could download it?
Just download latest theme version from Theme Forest and find latest plugin version inside.
You can also delete/then reinstall plugin in WordPress, but first export existing sliders to reimport after update.
ok, that works!
Thanks a lot ^^!
This code is to show posts shortcodes:
[show_posts type=”thumbnail-excerpt” excerpt_words=”18” limit=”3” paging=”false” orderby=”date” order=”DESC” offset=”0” post_type=”post”]
if i want to display posts by specific Post_IDs or Category then what i should do?
how can i reference a different logo for iphone? the desktop one is so wide that it looks teeny on mobile. thanks!
You can add different logo for mobile using CSS, which would be easiest way.
Add another logo image in header.. php files and set display:none to it. Then in responsive css set display:block for it and display:none for the standard logo.
I see WooCommerce is an option, how do I turn this on after I buy??
You just have to install WooCommerce plugin. Theme provides styling, all functions are coming from WooCommerce plugin
Waiting for an answer to ticket on support site. Getting The called constructor method for WP_Widget is deprecated since version 4.3.0! Use

which seems to be related to RevSlider. This theme came with RevSlider. If that is the problem, what is the fix? Thanks for replying either here or through support. Need an answer either way. For the most part Kickstart has been a great theme.
Manually updated Rev Slider from 4.6.5 to 5.0.7 and it was successful but did not fix the error. Updating this comment and my support post over at MNKY hoping for a little help. Thanks.
Thank you for reporting, we will update theme to fix this error.
Excellent. Can’t wait.
Is it part of the theme to put the Site Name in the Title tab? If so how can I stop it?
Do you mean logo area? You just have to replace site title with your logo in theme options.
Or do you mean ThemeForest iframe?
I mean the “Title” in the window tab of browsers. Typically it is built in to WP, but some themes take control and Yoast SEO (installed) handle url structure, meta, and SEO title for pages, but something is inserting the “blog name” into this.
I don’t want it too.
Why am I not getting notified of theme updates if in my Downloads section here on Envato I have selected “Get notified by email if this item is updated” ?
We do not always check that option, for example if only plugin is updated. But probably we should, so we will in the future.
Yes, that would be super helpful if you did. Thanks.
Does this theme support RTL ?
There is no rtl.css out of the box, but if you create one, you can use it with rtl language.
Here is how to create one: https://codex.wordpress.org/Right-to-Left_Language_Support
I can not activate a custom widget in my blog page or a post. I’ve disabled all plugins and resetted .htacess file without any luck.
Any suggestions ( http://testwebsite.gereformeerdekerkoldebroek.nl/blog )
Custom widgets can be activated for pages only. If you want to do that for blog, you can use plugin like Dynamic Widget.
I just updated the theme and my Wordpress to 4.3.1. I want to find out the theme is compatible with the new Woocommerce 2.4.x before I click update for it?
Thank you in advance.
We run latest WooCommerce version on demo, so far no issue were detected.
