The links on your live demo site (Top-Menu) do not work they simply stay on the home page.
Thanks for pointing that out. It’s caused by the demo iFrame. Closing it would fix the issue. I’ve modified the redirects on the demo site, so you can view it properly now.
Hi – the live demo is not working at all.
That’s strange. Please try the direct link http://antonibotev.com/themes/kiddo/
When trying to update my theme, I am getting the following error message, and it appears to keep me from updating to WP 4.1. Can you please help?
Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_prepare_themes_for_js() in /home/nbelgard/public_html/justiceformurray.net/wp-admin/themes.php on line 95
Oh and, the site is www.JusticeForMurray.net…
Are you getting this error when trying to update WordPress itself, or you have WordPress 4.1 already, and can’t update your Kiddo theme?
This error seems to get triggered not inside the Kiddo theme, but WordPress itself. I’d suggest, try switching to a default (twentyeleven for example) theme, update WordPress, then update the Kiddo theme, with latest version, which you can download from ThemeForest from your account’s download tab.
Please let me know how this goes via email through the contact form on my profile page, if this didn’t solve the issue.
I’m using Kiddo Theme version 1.3.1. Is this the latest version, and if not, how can I tell from the download page which is the latest?
The latest is 2.0.0. You can check the theme versions in the theme preview page’s Update History (we update the description with each theme update):
As well as if you’ve signed up for ThemeForest email option on theme update, you should get an email with each new version being released.
Can you create a custom background for the site? Is the PSD included?
Yes, the main layout (default skin) PSD files are included. The theme skins psds are not I am afraid.
Hi, I am having problems uploading media to two of our clients websites. When I try to upload media I can’t see any of the media which has previously been uploaded in Grid View. However I can see the media in list view. But, when I go to a page to insert media, there is no media visible at all. I have put this down to an error in the theme because I can upload media ok if I change the theme. I am currently using WordPress 4.1. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Can you please check the version of the Kiddo theme as well? The latest on is 2.0.0. If you have an older version – please download the theme from your downloads tab on ThemeForest and update.
If that’s still a problem, please send us an email through the contact form on my profile page with a temp admin login for your site.
Interested in possibly purchasing this theme – is it still being maintained/supported ?
Yes we support our items with latest WordPress versions.
How do you update the theme to 2.0? I don’t see an option to update from within WP 3.6.1…
You can do a manual update, by downloading the latest version and copying over the kiddo theme folder via FTP to your server’s wp-cotent/themes directory.
Another option would be to use the Envato Toolkit plugin. Here is a useful link on this:
Please let me know via email if you find trouble updating.
Can you give me some discount, please? I’m from Russia and $43 is very high price from last economics default.
I am afraid we have no control over items’ prices. This is handled by Envato, as well as all money transactions from purchasers. if you’d like, you could send an email to email@example.com to get more info on that.
Hi there – I’m having some issues installing this theme. Each time I install it, two error messages appear at the top of my wordpress dashboard stating that there are header issues
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/p3pnexwpnas08_data03/26/2486326/html/wp-content/themes/kiddo/widgets/gumm_twitter.php:1) in /home/content/p3pnexwpnas08_data03/26/2486326/html/wp-includes/option.php on line 748

I’ve tried disabling all plugins and completely reinstalling wordpress, as well as several different downloads and reinstalls of this theme however I can’t seem to find the root of the cause. I do not have this issue with any other theme on the same installation.
I see. On some servers a the specific file gets interpreted with wrong encoding. Can you please try replacing the gumm_twitter.php file in the appropriate folder from the zip:
Please let me know if this did not help with an email through the contact form on my profile page.
Just trying to translate a few things like:
“By” author “in” category “on” date.
Where can I find these files to edit? I’m translating in to Welsh and have already tried the po files – that didn’t work. Thanks.
I am really sorry for the long delay in getting back to you. We were away for the week, now catching up with support requests.
Kris has your email and is looking into the issue. Will let you know asap.
Another issue has just occurred. Only the most recent blog post is showing on the Homepage. It’s set to show twelve. Any idea? Thanks!
Can you please send us an email through the contact form on my profile page with this, so Kris can look into this?
I am trying to install the theme into wordpress using the documentation provided and I am repeatedly receiving the response ‘Failed’ Do you know why it would be doing this?
Please make sure you’re installing the installable kiddo.zip file, rather than the whole package downloaded from ThemeForest.
If you’re using the whole Kiddo package – please unzip it, and inside you will find the kiddo.zip file, which you need to install from the WordPress admin.
As well as check if your server is limiting your file upload.
Thanks for the help
Is it possible to remove the arrow option on the gallery thumbnail? We like how the magnifying glass opens up the image viewer, but don’t like the way the gallery presents when you click the arrow.
Are you referring to the arrow on hover on gallery index pages?
If so, please send us an email through the contact form on my profile page so we can adjust it with some CSS.
Yes that is what I mean. I am trying to register on your support forum but I cannot locate the purchase code. I have been into my themeforest account however, it does not display like the photo on your support forum shows. I have the link to ‘Regular License’ but no to the ‘License Certificate’
Is there any way you can verify my purchase and give me access to the support site?
When you go to your downloads tab – just hit the download button:
then you can register with your Envato username and the purchase code found in the text file.
So, I have been through the registration process now (thanks for the help) however, I now press ‘support forum’ and it is redirecting me to a wordpress dashboard to login, when I try to log in it says my Zendesk logn could not be authenticated. If I press the signup button it loads a page that says ‘401 Access denied. User registration not enabled for account wordpressica’
Hmm, quite weird. We are actually preparing a Zendesk switch for all our support… maybe we’ve left something out. I am sorry for that. Please try again now.
Its still not working. could you please contact me via email so that I can send you a screen shot of whats going on
So we’ve launched our new support system, which you can make us of now – https://wordpressica.zendesk.com/hc/en-us
You can submit your request from the link on top, or navigate here:
Or send an email through the contact form on my profile page.
Is it possible to change the text in the footer?
Yes, you can modify it from the footer.php file. If you’d like submit a ticket with this on our support system, and someone will be able to assist with this.
