I have a friend who bought this theme and last update give a fatal error and nothing is working anymore. I think is important for customers to take care..
Of course it’s important customers are taken care of! We believe in this strongly. However, as it stands, there are no errors in our theme, so without knowing more about the issue, we cannot offer assistance. Your friend should have received documentation with their download and from there can learn how to access support (which is also mentioned in all past comments). Support is always available and if your friend needs help they should then contact us themselves.
Without details and without them contacting us, we cannot offer much assistance.

Chances are your not doing something correct and maybe reference the videos for help. If still struggling, post your question to the forums after registering and we’ll gladly assist you there.
I just want to warn people: The gallery option in this theme is VERY complicated. I have spend many hours getting it to work. It surprises me that something that should be so simple as to ad an image from the media library to a existing gallery, can not be done. I am very disappointed about that, because the theme is good.
I apologize that you feel that way but many of our buyers think it’s rather simple. I’m uncertain why it took you hours to figure out unless you did not read the documentation or watch the video tutorials.
Here’s a link to our Video Tutorial for creating Galleries with Shortcodes and it’s relatively simple.
In theory, it’s as simple as:
1. Create a Gallery via the “Gallery Post-type”.
2. Upload your images and attach them to that gallery post.
3. Create a page/post and use the Shortcode to call the Gallery.
The gallery will then show based on your shortcode used.
Pretty straight forward though unfortunately not everyone may feel that way (such as yourself) but this is how our theme works and I do apologize that it does not suit your simplicity requirements.

It’s true that it’s pretty straightforward if you have not already uploaded a bunch of photos. I have all the photos in the library already and then it’s impossible to attach them to a gallery. That is not good. And i think that should be solved from your side.
While we understand your concern, it’s how our theme has functioned for the past 5 years. Due to the limitations in the way WordPress media works, and the way our theme makes use of those images, Media files are not ‘attached’ unless uploaded to the post.
That being said, we are working towards an alternative solution for managing images but that is not yet available. It will be released in the near future, but at this time, it’s how our galleries are managed.

Hello, I am very attracted by the unique look of your theme, but I have some worries about functionalities I need for my purpose (not photography, but a theater-company):
1) I do not see any templates in your theme for standard pages like “about us”, “team”, “history-timeline”, “services”, etc… How easy is it to build these and what would they look like?
2) I also see no example or template for “Events calendar” and “Shop”, even though it says that they are supported. I need a themed page that shows a monthly view of events. I should be able to do this with “EventOn” or “The Event Calendar”, but how easy is it to integrate and how will it look?
3) On your example site, the background box of a page or post is always solid black. If I want to see some of the full-screen background image through it, can I easily set the transparency of this box?
4) Can I create a “client section” which is password protected? Can I manage multiple clients?
5) On a full-screen video Homepage, can I overlay text as in the sliders? Or, even better, can I create a small overlayed “news” or “event” box?

Thank you for your interests. I’ll do my best to answer:
1. These are not demonstrated but easy enough to create. You can either use Visual Composer (included with our theme) or create your own by means of the standard WordPress Content Editor. There are many different shortcodes available. Making your only limitation your imagination / creativity.
We did not setup “About” or “Team” or “Service” pages because those are unique to the individual purpose. For example, if you wanted to create an About Us page, you could use the columns shortcode, to create an image aligned left (or right) and content aligned right (or left). Same can be said about services and team.
2. Our theme does not claim to include “Ecommerce” support, but rather, says “Coming Soon”. We are currently working to release a version that offers Ecommerce possibilities with WooCommerce but those developments are pending completion.
As for the “Events Calendar”, we state our theme supports and works with the calendar, but does not come package with it [EventON]. It does however work well with most Event Calendars but we do not offer support for them or any specific outside EventON, which can be customized and used based on the plugin itself.
3. Inside the theme options there are transparency / opacity settings which by default is set to “1” (full color / no opacity). The other options are 0.9, 0.8 and 0.7 opacity which is selectable from within the theme options. These black ‘content area’ backgrounds are an image, so if you want opacity any lighter than what is available by default, it would require you editing the image for the container and adding your own opacity / transparency via a Photo Editor program.
Black is the default color, but you can easily change this via your editor program by editing the background image (this is explained in our FAQs).
4. Our theme at this time does not come packaged with a client management system but there are MANY out there that are available to WordPress that you can download, install and explore based on your needs.
Our theme does however include the native “Password Protect” options which are standard to WordPress. Any further customization to that, would require developments or use of a third-party plugin.
Please note that in a future release we intend on including a more versatile client/member management system (so as to cater to Photographers and their clients a little more) but at this time that is not a feature natively available in our theme.
5. Video backgrounds do not include the possibility to have text overlaid on the videos. Sliders and background images can though.
It’s definitely possible to add text above the videos but it’s not an option natively available to our theme and would require customizations / developments.
Most everything you’ve requested is possible, but some not without customizations / developments. If you’re comfortable with CSS and light HTML, you could make most of this happen with minimal effort.
In addition, we are also available for hire to customize it further based on your specific needs.

why is the demo NOT responsive?
The demo IS responsive
and by responsive you mean every page example in the demo other than homepage confined to a 741px width? the content within the page (again that’s less than 800x wide) is responsive. does the theme offer settings to make the page respond to full width?
I am assuming you’re referring to the black container on the inner pages? Yes, this is the width of our theme. This is the maximum width. It is not a 100% theme. It is the intended design behind it.
To again confirm: It IS responsive.
You can make it a larger container, but that would require you making the CSS modifications to both the content area and inner elements and I’ll be frank, if your not familiar with CSS, it’s not going to be an easy task. Though you could likely achieve it with help from Firebug.
Also note that the background of the container is an image, so this image will also require being resized. All PSD files are included with the theme when purchased.
I purchased this theme about 11 months ago and as a YouTuber / Video Blogger, I thought it would be fantastic for us. Unfortunately on the outside it would seem so, but for us, we will need to move to another theme shortly.
The problem is when/if you like to create a blog post along with your video, this theme will obstruct view of your video with your blog post overlayed over it if you have one, so if you want your visitor to be able to watch a video without the blog post in the way, it is not easy to do without making a fairly hefty compromise.
That compromise is to default the navigation menu to hide itself from view. This becomes a problem when new visitors to your website try to navigate it, because with menus hidden, it become confusing to know what to do.
As a result of this, it’s a deal breaker for us. We tried to get support on this 11 months ago in the support forums and have recently brought it up again. Afterall, this should be a fundamental use of the theme.
Unfortunately the theme owner, Bryce, appears to take great offence when suggesting problems that we, his customers, are having with his theme. This self-importance gets in the way of true customer support and so you come away feeling belittled and that your problem is of no great significance simply because other customers have not brought the issue up before.
It’s a great shame because the theme looks great, and I’m sure it works out well for a lot of customers – But it is quite limiting for YouTubers or video bloggers who want to write posts along with the video… You have to ‘make do’ with the limitations.
In addition, I’ve found that the theme doesn’t seem to work well on mobile cell phones, but perhaps I need to install other widgets to make this possible. It could be due to changes I had to make so that visitors could watch videos unobstructed from the blog post.
So before you buy, I would just check the theme on mobile (cell) devices and also if you are a video blogger / YouTuber, check it can do what you need it to do. If you don’t write blog posts with your videos, you should be fine. It’s when you do, your visitor will have great difficulty switching between blog post and video.
You’re being quite unreasonable and rather immature in your stance. Because you feel a feature you want belongs in the theme, you’re finding reasons to attack us. Instead of being like any other reasonable person, understanding and accepting it’s not a feature and if really wanting it, considering it as a development.
You don’t have to have your developments completed through us, you can use anyone you want. Though there are benefits and as we explained before, we’d be happy to discount you this development if we could re-use it in our theme.
However, as it stands, the feature you’re requesting is not one of popular demand and we cannot simply meet every one of our buyers requests when they do not benefit the masses. In which case, personalizing the theme for your purpose, would be considered “outside the scope of free support” and a suggested development.
Though to show others how unfair you’re being, since you feel the need to bring this to a public forum, I’ve made available our discussions so I don’t have to re-explain and justify my position:
We feel that we’re being very fair and as mentioned and encouraged, you could seek out other buyers (post a comment, ask if anyone is interested, tweet it with related hashtags, etc) but instead of trying to find a beneficial solution, you feel the need to try and shame us.
Then, after all your positive words about our theme, you try and shame us publicly because we will not meet your request. Thinking only of yourself again, as pointed out in the discussion linked above.
We are very sorry you feel this way and have to sink to this level, but our position is still the same. If you find others who are interested in the feature and our buyers request it, than by all means, we’ll consider it, but we cannot add each and every personalization or preference to our theme that a buyer requests. It’s just not possible and in many scenarios, may also interfere with the existing features and functions.
Just as this one does.
A lot of our buyers are very much happy with the way this works and it’s intended behavior. You continue to feel that this is wrong because it’s not suitable for your need. In addition, as explained in the forums, it’s a feature that interferes with an existing feature and many of our buyers are currently using it that way, as it’s intended and are very much benefiting from it.
We are always more than happy to make new features available in our theme, as we regularly do, but personalizations such as this, preference requests that do not benefit all our buyers, is not something we can as easily (and quickly) consider without the ramifications of our other 17,000+ buyers.
You’re being unreasonable.
Though we wish you all the best in finding a new solution for your website and unfortunately we cannot meet each and every one of our buyers needs, but we’ll always try to do so the best we can.

I have accepted your position on this already and I understand what you have said, but it is not unreasonable for me to notify other potential buyers of this theme, exactly what my issue is. I’m not sinking to any level, I’m being quite civil and level-headed about it!! Look at it from my point of view as the customer:
Rewind back 1 year. I’m a video blogger / YouTuber looking for a theme that can meet my purpose and I come across your theme. Wow, this looks fantastic. I look through these comments first, I always do my research. Everything I read and saw appeared to show that this theme could do everything we needed it to do, all the bells and whistles, and it looked great. I’m psyched and I get to work learning all about it and build our website up using it.
But then I hit a snag and after airing it in the support forum find that I’m on my own with it.
I’m stuck. None of my research helped. Had I known then, that my visitors could not watch our YouTube videos on our website (this theme) without the blog text overlaying and restricting the view of the video, unable to move the blog post so they could watch the video unobstructed – Had I known that – I would not, honestly, have purchased the theme. That is why I’m posting this comment, so others have the opportunity to assess if this is something they need -
Yes, there is a ‘workaround’ – But the workaround is too problematic because it means hiding all important navigation menus which won’t do either. That’s it – That’s my problem in a nutshell. I’m not asking for much, I just want my visitors to be able to watch the video, or read the post associated with it, but not… both at the same time !!
That’s not being unreasonable or unfair. Our need is quite a fundamental need. I’m not asking for anything exceptional or strange. I’m a video blogger so I need my visitors to be able to watch our videos, unimpeded – That’s it! Would you go and watch “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” with a huge block of text overlaying the screen all the way through the movie? Of course not.
I am not trying to shame you or the theme, I actually think it is a very clever theme, very attractive and I’m sure it serves most people very well. But nothing is perfect and you can’t please everyone. I am merely informing others what the theme can’t do and why we are unable to use it. I think that’s helpful to others making an assessment, don’t you think?
I think it’s great you’re sharing your opinion of the theme with others and would encourage it, whether good or bad. However, it is you who still believes we should cater to your personalizations when those are not something included with your support.
What you believe makes it perfect for other video bloggers or YouTubers, does not necessarily apply to all of them. Rather, on knowing your suggestion has gone un-responded to since you originally requested it (publicly we might add), no other buyers thought it necessary or of interest, otherwise they would have voiced it in reply.
We take suggestions very seriously and will continue to. If there is a high enough interest in a feature, or change, than we’ll apply it. Though making personalizations to all 17,000+ buyers when requested is absurd and selfish if you think that is how it should be.
You’re getting upset about a personalization we’re unwilling to do for ‘you’. So you rate our theme “1 Star”, whereas you just said it yourself (here’s a screenshot):

We can go back and forth all day regarding this but the bottom line is, we do not offer free customizations. If you want to reach out to other buyers and get more interest, by all means we encourage it, though it’s current behavior is intended and our buyers [as far as we are aware, and been told] appreciate it as is.
We cannot meet everyone’s specific needs and we apologize that you cannot accept that. We again appreciate your past purchase and interests, wishing you well no matter the decision.
Of course I understand you can’t meet everyone’s specific needs. I grant you that. And I could support that objective assertion in my case if I were asking for something quite inane or incidental. But it’s not unreasonable for me to expect, coming across this theme that supports video as well as yours does, to be able to watch videos without the blog’s text blocking it.
But it’s one of those points we’re agreeing to disagree I think. You seem certain that the other 17,000 buyers have no need for this functionality hence they have not chimed in on our discussion, so this thread will have no bearing on their purchasing decision.
About the rating: Yes, I did rate it one star purely because the theme is useless to me in its current state – And I tell you what, if it had this functionality I would rate it 4 or 5. Why? Because it’s not just a mild annoyance that I can live with, it’s a deal breaker. We have to start again. It should have the option to switch between blog post and video, not forced both together. Definitely
And yes, of course I’m upset. It’s not the money, $54 is a small amount to pay and it is not the issue here. I’m upset because of the time, work and effort I have put into this already, which is weeks of time, not hours or minutes. The realization that it can’t work and doesn’t serve its purpose.
But please don’t interpret that as anger or a bid to try and get back at you, because I’m really not. I just wouldn’t like to see others who want to use this theme in the same manner I do, go to all the trouble I did to reach the same outcome! Nothing more than that!

The background container is an image. This can be changed simply be overwriting the original image. PSD’s are included with the downloadable files.
presales question: do you have other set of color theme?! Your demo side has only black theme! I don’t really like black!
At this time, our theme comes default with black, but we’re in the works to adding new colour schemes in the near future. In the meantime, it’s 1 colour but you can easily change that colour by modifying the PSD images included with your purchase (if you do purchase). The PSD’s are free with the purchase.
These black areas (navigation and body) are images. Then of course the text and other colour schemes are controllable from within the Theme Options > Style Options so you can customize those then to suit your specific needs.
