I just purchased the theme and tried to install it. After I clicked Activate,this showed up and I can’t even access the wp-admin. You guys know what the problem is? Thanks!

Are you using any plugins? Try renaming wp-content—> plugins folder and see if it helps.

As of now the video tutorials included in the documentation and the documentation itself do not reflect changes that where made in the wordpress 3.5 update. Users experiencing issues creating galleries where promised new tutorials that would reflect these changes “By Tuesday morning.” As of now these tutorials have not been published and there has not been a official response on how to create image galleries in wordpress 3.5

I’m having the same problem as some others on this website. Thanks for your help. I did end up fixing this problem, however, I now have the same issues as mermaid52 – I have followed the instructions to set the background slider and all I get is the spinning wheel telling me that it’s loading. Any suggestions for why this might be?

What problems did you have exactly with the CSS? There shouldn’t be any, unless the template was originally incorrectly installed, in which case it would state “missing style sheet”, that means you’ve incorrectly installed the template.

As for the Theme Options, glad to hear it was resolved. Looks to me like you’ve tried installing a separate Theme Options plugin. Did removing this resolve the issue? Just curious what exactly was wrong.

In regards to the background slider, please ensure you’ve followed the instructions by setting the folder permissions and defining the settings properly via “Theme Options > Home Settings”. Updating WordPress should not affect your images. It’s either your server has made changes, or perhaps the folder permissions have been changed. I’d advise you double check the folder permissions and perhaps contact your hosting provider to see if there were any recent changes to your hosting environment.

Have you read the template documentation and followed the steps for setting up your template? You need to set the folder permissions and if you have not the images you’re uploading will not appear. Furthermore, ensure that your hosting environment supports Timthumb.

Also, I upgraded today, and while the desktop computer version works okay, the iPad doesn’t display the home page slider, nor do the NextGen galleries display (when a thumbnail is clicked, the image just enlarges to bigger than the iPad screen, with no navigation arrows to move between images).

Our template is not designed for mobile devices or iPads, sorry.

As for NextGen, it contains scripts that will likely conflict with our template’s lightbox scripts. Unfortunately the issues you’re going to experience are unavoidable. We’d recommend not using this plugin or consider removing some of the template’s native functionality.

Hello – Is there any way of removing an image from a gallery WITHOUT deleting it from the Media Library – I have the site up and running and I added an image to the gallery that I no longer want to use, the image is in use in a different area of the site so I do not want to delete the image, simply remove/detach it from the gallery…. Please help me, thanks in advance!

Go to the page/gallery you’ve created and attached the images. Then (depending on the version you’re using of WordPress) click “Add Media” and there will be a dropdown menu in that new window, select “Uploaded to this post” and remove/edit those images. Hey I am really new to this…but I can see that when i am not logged on word press..there are some irregularities on my website..and when I try to fix them nothing works.. for example I placed some adsense ads on the footers and they are supposed to be on every page..and they look perfectly fine when checking the website through dashboard..but as soon as I log out…footers get distorted big time!!! please some help!!
