I have one other huge problem only the intro of my blog posts shows – when you click read more it does nothing just stays on the same page. There was an existing blog I updated the theme. Bo new blog psts as well do the same thing

It’s because you’re incorrectly installing the template. Please extract the zipped folder you downloaded from Theme Forest, inside it locate “Template Files” folder and that’s the template inside there. Additionally, locate the “Documentation” folder inside it and that will walk you through the use and setup of the KingSize WordPress template.

Can the 4 col galleries have a text title underneath the images? None of the example demo pages show this…

It’s not possible with our unique galleries but it is possible when using the native WordPress galleries instead. With a little development though, depending how comfortable you’re with PHP and HTML/CSS, it’s definitely possible!

Hello,

Just because WordPress releases an update, doesn’t necessarily mean the template itself is going to break down. It’s all variant on the developers, how they coded it, what was used, what may have become depreciated and etc. As it stands, our template is fully compatible with WordPress 3.5.1 although the user-interface has changed a little, which we released articles about that explain the differences between the old interface and new interface in regards to our template use.

Hello,

Just tried uploading KingSize WordPress Version 4_0_3 2.zip to a client’s website but I keep getting the same error message…

Unpacking the package… Installing the theme…

The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.

Theme install failed.

I am uploading a .zip file, why would it be missing the style.css file?

Thanks for your interests. There are a lot of differences between the “Colorbox”, “Fancybox” and “PrettyPhoto” gallery types. One of the biggest differences being the visual display, second being the way it functions when being used.

If you view the demonstration website and open 3 different tabs with the 3 different referenced galleries / lightboxes, open each and watch how they work. Look at the interface, they differ most here.

Bottom line, they all do the same, just gives personal preference and option to personalize your website based on what you prefer most.

And also having to see the word- “phone number” under the 3rd column of the contact form. Unfortunately we cannot provide you with a license code. You would have received that when you purchased the template. I can see that this account does not have a “Purchased” badge which means you’ve not purchased the template with this account. I’d recommend you do some digging and figure out what account you used to purchase this.

Once you have that, you can go to the “Downloads” section of your account, view the license for the template purchased and follow the instructions at http://www.denoizzed.com/forum to finish your registration. Thanks.

Is this Wordpresstheme able to implement payment systems, so customers have to pay to see my videos? Or memberships?

There are numerous plugins out there that could cater to your needs in addition to our template, but this template specifically is not made for ecommerce purposes such as those you’ve mentioned.

A good “Ecommerce” plugin our buyers say work well is “Cart66” and “wp-Ecommerce”, as for membership plugins, there are a lot of them out there, although we’ve not personally tested, I’m sure one of those many available would work perfect. You’d have to research which of those available is best suited for your needs though.

Is it possible in WP to link pics loaded to other sites? e.g. Picasa? Like video that we watch from Youtube.

There are plugins that do this that you could likely find though. We’ll take this into consideration though with future developments but no guarantee we’ll include it.

Hello,

Yes, with WordPress you can create what is known as a “Static Page” and assign it as your homepage. It’s as easy as creating the page, adding in your content, widgets, text, etc., and going to “Settings > Reading” and changing it to the page you had previously created.

The homepage is not a widgetized area, sorry.

It’s not something overly complicated to do though, but would require you modifying the files, adding in your new divs and styling to compliment those widgetized areas, then calling the custom widget/sidebars you’ve created via functions.php.

Otherwise, as a default, this is not a possibility, sorry.

If someone would sit down with me, who understands this and walk us through how things work, as a developer, I’m sure we can do it and would try to make it available for our next release.

have been trying to hook up FOOBOX lightbox plugin

can’t seem to get the DISABLE LIGHTBOX on portfoli page to disable the exisiting (fancy box) lightbox, double lightboxes appear.

Hi, my question is when using self hosted video on the homepage what happens after the video finishes? Does it go blank? Can it go to the slidesshow or a still. Or is the option only to loop it? And is it the same for YouTube and Vimeo hosted video? Just trying to understand before I buy. Thanks.

Hello,

You can define within the Theme Option whether to enable “Loop” on the video or not (ie., Disable/Enable). If it’s set to stop, it will end with a blank screen or if you buy a premium license to JWPlayer, you can customize the player options at the end of the video.

I unfortunately have no good examples to use on the demonstration website and thus the reason why only YouTube and Vimeo are used.
