When this is active will it be easy to update from the present theme to the responsive theme version?

Thanks for your kind words. We believe in offering effective support and we guarantee a response generally within 24hrs from Monday to Friday. Weekends, like everyone else, we usually like to take time with our families.
As for updating your version of the template, it’s pretty straight forward so long as you do not make major modifications into our coding. If it’s your intention to make changes to the CSS , we advise you to use the overrides option inside the Theme Options, this way when you do update the version you’re using, those CSS Overrides placed into the Theme Options will be carried over upon updating, but making updates directly into the “style.css” file or any other files will be overwritten when updating.
Additionally, if you were to change the color of the images used by the navigation or body, it would be as simple as carrying those modified images over into the updated version after updating so they’re again applied in that version.
It’s pretty straight forward but we’ll be available should you have any problems and we do provide tutorials on how to update.

Firstly love the theme! Fantastic… I’d be interested in making the social media more prominent. Is there a way to implement them on the homepage? perhaps by a custom css field? (as i’ve used templates in the past with such things)

It is possible but requires you making some modifications to the files. If you purchase the template and register for our support forums, we can point you in the direction of where to apply your edits but it’s going to require you having some experience and knowledge of CSS and HTML to complete and perhaps PHP depending on how you wish to manage them.

Looks to be a simple plugin. I cannot make you any guarantees as I have not personally tested the plugin and cannot say whether or not this plugin is making use of any scripts that may conflict with our template. If it’s straight forward CSS then I don’t see why there would be a problem but again, I cannot make you any guarantees with the use of plugins as we do not provide third-party script support. It is my thought though that likely there should be no issues, but please do not take this as a guarantee.

Thanks for the interest. Yes, it’s possible and as easy as editing an image and overwriting the original. The navigation and body content backgrounds are both images and in the downloaded files, we’ve included both the original PSD and also the sliced PSD ’s. Looks like I am going ot buy, just need to settle on a domain name..
One last question if I may…
On some of the full screen images a transparent dotted filter appears “over” the image, this looks superb and my question is this…
Is this something we can turn on and off and are there a choice of filters…. for example, horizontal lines, small dots, diagonal etc..

In our template it’s referred to as a “grid overlay” and is optional within the Theme Options. You can disable it, apply to all pages, exclude the homepage but enable on all other pages, and etc. You can make your own grid overlays and overwrite the original and it will work in the same manner.

Hello, Just bought the theme and it’s great! I’m having a bit of trouble getting the home page to behave the way it does in your demo. I want to have the menu with just the sliders in the background, and a headline and caption in the lower right – no “home page” stuff (the big square saying this and that). I used your website but was unable to get an answer, only a reference saying to use the advance search which, as far as I can tell, still left the question unanswered. How do I do this? In short though, it is possible but would require you making modifications. By default, our template uses “PrettyPhoto” for general lightbox use when not using a specific gallery.

I have a problem with my theme, it doesn’t show the preview images anymore in the portfolio. Only the + sign. I saw that someone else asked this before and you said I could fix this with timtumb but this option isn’t available on version 3.3. I have enabled every option in the general settings. Nothing works. It’s weird because it suddently happened while I didn’t make any changes.
Next to that, it doesn’t show the background in IE on all the pages. Where can I fix that?

Did you email “support [at] kingsizetheme.com” or did you use the Denoizzed profile for email support? I don’t personally recall the email but in all truthfulness we’d prefer to keep support to the support forums and we’d be happy to help you out.

If all else fails, write us at the above email address and we’ll try and resolve the forum issues for you or we’ll at least extend the support you need via the support ticket you open with the above email. We’d prefer to avoid offering the patch you need for the older version 3.3 publicly.
As for the Timthumb issue, contact your hosting provider. If this suddenly happened when it was working before, it’s likely your hosting provider has made server changes or if you were using permissions “777” they may have enabled “suPHP” on the server in which case you’d need to modify those folder permissions to use “755” instead. Best you contact them about any recent changes they may have made.

Absolutely think this theme is awesome, though I’m concerned a little on how it displays within mobile devices, Ipads and smartphones. It’s very difficult to select links and the display is too large for small screens. Are you working on fixing these issues, and if so when do you anticipate the changes to be implemented? Ken

I have seen a few different buyers using the website for similar purposes so yes, it’s definitely possible. (1) You can add a master card icon anywhere you like but does require you having some knowledge of general HTML and CSS . (2) It’s possible, but again not something part of our template as a default and would require you having a knowledge of CSS and HTML to position and place the new coding and whatever else may be involved with that (ie., PHP , jQuery, or etc). It’s definitely all possible.

It is currently compatible with WPML but there are some issues to be addressed in the release of version 4.1. As for booking plugins, I cannot honestly answer this question as we did not design our template for this purpose and haven’t tested before any booking plugins. Chances are they’ll work but we cannot make you any guarantees.

Can I change the shape of the navigation dropdown (see attached link)

Yes, it is very simple to do and just so you’re aware the navigation is simply an image. We have provided the original PSD ’s, as well sliced PSD ’s that you would simply overwrite with your modified version of the navigation. Some CSS may be required to be changed depending on your navigation approach.
