Thanks for your message. The theme doesn’t have any voice search capabilities. I’m not aware and haven’t testing any plugins with the theme to add voice search functionality, so unfortunately couldn’t tell you if it’s possible.

We’ve been using your plugin Q and A FAQ and Knowledge Base for WordPress
Version 18.104.22.168 and it works quite well.
I noticed that this plugin is not longer in the WordPress repository >> https://wordpress.org/plugins/q-and-a/
In the WordPress settings for Q and A, there is a link for the premium version, which points to this page. However, this appears to be a theme and not a plugin.
Do you have a plugin available? We’d be happy to go premium.
Thanks for your message. I think there’s been some confusion as I’m not the author of that plugin. So not sure why that author would link here. It may be worth investigating the author of the plugin and seeing if they still have the premium version available.
I think what’s happening is that the author no longer wants to support the plugin, and deflecting users to you.
He/she does however make claim to your theme being THEIR premium plugin. Herewith the exact text in the WP plugin page…

We’re the former author of the Q&A plugin. We have not developed or supported that plugin for more than two years, and in fact don’t even have access to the WP Repo anymore, but people kept coming to our site to find out where it went! We created a simple redirect to point people to your software in hopes they would find it useful and purchase it. We definitely weren’t trying to imply that you were somehow providing support for the plugin.
Let me know if this is confusing and I’ll be glad to turn off that redirect.

I’ve installed the theme and I don’t have ajax live search working by default. I couldn’t find any option to switch this on/off, any idea ?
Is there any css theme alternative to make the look and feel a bit different (header, background color..) ?
On each article, tags are white on white background, so only a mouseover will make them appear…

Thanks – but there are no widgets on the main page as you have on Helpguru – is that correct? Since its your theme – does HelpGuru also use blog posts as Articles? It has this “News” content type it seems. So a bit confused. Can you pls clarify?
KnowHow’s main page is simply the knowledge base with a sidebar (which can be left/right or off) for widgets.

Hi, quick question. How can I remove sub-categories from the Categories widget in the sidebar?
I wanted to create a site with about 600,000 articles and each article has again more than 50 attributes. Have you seen any performance issues with lots of data? How is your search implemented.. can we customize it to include all attributes in search? We wanted to the search to be very fast.

I myself haven’t run into any sites running that many articles so unfortunately wouldn’t be able to tell you of any possible performance implications.

The theme uses the default WordPress search engine.

It’s not a feature of the theme, so you’d need to look into a plugin or custom functionality.
Is there a way to set access permission with knowledgebase articles? For example, I only want some articles to be visible to our customers while the company staff can see them all.
