Hello Sir,
I don’t want people to comment on Articles. Is there any plugin, that will stop the Commenting Section.
Hey there,
You’re probably looking for this: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/disable-comments/
Thanks
Hi I just purchased this theme, before purchase I read that you could change the theme colours and presumed this included the background colour etc. I do not want every page to be white I need to be able to brand myself with different colours, is it not possible to change the background colours in this theme?
Hey there,
Apologies for the confusion, but the theme color is referring to the “highlight color”. In the demo for example the theme color is red. This is what can be changed (along with the links) in the theme options panel. If you would like to change the background color you would need to edit the style.css
Thanks
Hi Just bought the theme and I’m only getting a partial file download – not a complete zip file – is this an error on your end or with Themeforest do you think ?
Hey there,
Try re-downloading. Once downloaded, unzip the file and upload the theme folder contained within.
Let me know if you have any issues.
Thanks
I got it working!
Hi, does this theme support multi editors. We are thtying to use this for support and at least 5 people should be able to log on and write.
What I should have asked is if the theme can be deployed on Wordpress Multi User environment.
Yes, of course. You just need to setup your users and set the appropriate roles in WordPress. Checkout this: http://codex.wordpress.org/Roles_and_Capabilities
Thanks
Hi theme looks amazing. I was just wondering if it was possible to make the wiki private so it was only viewable by those logged in? Thanks.
Hi there,
Check wordpress.org for a plugin, there’s probably something there that can help you out.
Thanks
I want purchase your theme. But i need show tags in my site. Can your help me?
Hey there,
It’s pretty straight forward to add tags in. It’s just a matter of using this function: http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/the_tags and placing it in the template files where you want it to show up. (usually in single.php).
Thanks
Is there a way to turn off responsive?
Hey there,
With a simple edit you could stop the responsive CSS stylesheet from loading. Let me know if you need help finding it in the theme files
Thanks
hello, yesterday I bought KnowHow theme … but there are some differences between your online demo:
- there are no red circle before the items of “category” - the “Accordions” stile is diffrent from sreenshot
can I have the same release of demo?
thanx
Hey there,
You need to use the Custom Category widget provided if you want the style used on the demo. Not sure what you mean by “Accordions”.
Thanks
hy, Thankyou for the answare,
ok for the custom category, but the FAQs page is different, in the admin panel I can’t find the same style of demo’s FAQ
Thanks
Have you setup the FAQ page as the documentation explains in “1.3 Setup FAQ Page”?
Thanks
thanks, I’m very sorry
perfect theme
bye
No problem, happy to help
The right side vertical category menu breaks in IE8 on certain pages on the demo, like this one – http://themes.swishthemes.com/knowhow/category/copyright-legal/
I see that you indicate the theme is only compatible with IE9 , but everything else seems to work fine other than this. Is there a fix for this as I would need it to display properly in IE8 .
Hey there,
It’s not exactly broken in IE8 , there’s just no rounded corners as the browser doesn’t support it. Is that what you mean?
Thanks
The vertical category menu on right side is no longer aligned left, the menu lists is distorted with random indentations. The home page works fine but on other pages like the link I provided, you can see what I mean.
Ah I see, thanks for pointing this out. It’s most likely an easy fix so I’ve made a note to fix it when I work on the next version.
Thanks
Is there a particular theme file I should look at to resolve this issue?
Hey there,
It’s most likely a CSS issue, so check style.css
Thanks
Hello, Great Theme, any HTML version soon ?
Hey there,
I’m not sure how useful this would be without a CMS so no plans at the moment.
Thanks
Under Theme Options > Homepage Options I have the setting “Number Of Category Posts” set to the default (5), but on the home page the posts are not showing up under the category titles. How do I fix?
Hey there,
Please email me via my profile with your WordPress admin details so I can take a look.
Thanks
Hey Chris,
Strange thing happening with the accordions short code. When I take out the third accordian code it doesn’t display the style any longer…any suggestions on how to fix this.
Also the images for the icons that I am updating are not showing up. I have changed the image in ftp also and still nothing.
Hey there,
For the acordion issue I can’t replicate it. Here’s the shortcode I’m using:
[accordion][accordion_block title="Accordion 1"]Accordion 1 Content[/accordion_block][accordion_block title="Accordion 2"]Accordion 2 Content[/accordion_block][/accordion]As for the icons, which icons are you trying to change? Can you provide me a link? Feel free to email me via my profile if you’d like to keep it private.
Thanks
Thanks Chris, that code worked!
Sorry to have bothered you with the images, I forgot to cache my browser…oops!
No problem, these things happen
Hi, I am almost ready to publish my site, very nice and easy theme, even for a newbie like me.Thumbs up for your work! Anyway,is there a way to make my content visible to logged in users only?I am using the security in every article you have, but its not the easiest thing to type a password for every article.I do not need many users 2-3 and I am covered.Plus, only the admin should register them from the beginning. Thanks.
Hey there,
By the sounds of it you need a plug-in to show content only to logged-in users. Search wordpress.org for something suitable or here’s a tutorial to cook something yourself: http://justintadlock.com/archives/2009/05/09/using-shortcodes-to-show-members-only-content
Thanks
hey mastelios,
chris told me about privacy htaccess and so i set it up under my cpanel hosting account. Works like a charm!
I want create subcategories in my knowhow, but i can’t make this ?? can you help me ?
Hey there,
You just need to make categories a child of a parent category. Like a hierarchy. Check out the docs: http://codex.wordpress.org/Manage_Categories_SubPanel
Thanks
I have wordpress MU and i can’t show in faq URI : http://domain.com/faq/faqs-prueba/
Can you help me?
Hey there,
Sounds like you need to setup your permalinks: http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks
Thanks
Hello Chris,

Hey there,
Send me an email via my profile with your WordPress admin details so I can take a look.
