Any visitor ( registered or non-registered ) can like an article and an article can be liked once from one IP address.
I think what you are asking is how to disable it for non-registered visitors and sorry there is no way for now but if you create a support ticket then I can provide you related theme file modified for this purpose.
Please read documentation for how to create a ticket using item purchase code.

Great theme! I saw you said that articles can be liked once from one IP address. What if I use a private knowledgebase for a company and I have two different coworkers with the same public IP because of the network? How is this stored, an independent custom table? Custom post type? would be easy to modify it? Thanks.

Thanks for liking the theme.
Multiple users having the same public IP can like an article only one time (I mean only one user will be able to like an article once and later on it will behave as liked to all the user behind that public IP ). Article likes are stored as simple post meta ( WordPress post custom field ) and it has very simple code that is very easy to modify.

I cannot say for sure about this plugin. But, This theme is coded in a truly standard WordPress way and a plugin should work fine with it if the plugin is designed for standard WordPress themes.

Theme is tested and compatible with WordPress 3.5
This theme uses WordPress standard post as Knowledge Base article. So blog section apart from knowledge base is not provided in this theme.

Yes, it is tested on WordPress version 3.5.1
Author name is not provided in post meta as I think that a knowledge base site represents a company and name of individuals is not an appropriate thing to display with a post.
But if you want to show author info then here are two ways.
1st: you can show author info box using following plugin http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/fancier-author-box/
2nd If you want to add only author text name in post meta then please create a support ticket and our support staff will provide your related code.

Looking to purchase this theme but curious whether the homepage columns can be customised through widgets or whether they only show Featured and Latest articles? I can see from the screenshots of widgets that the Featured can be changed to something else, but can Latest?
Also, does the drop down menu support more than the top level and one sub level?

1. Drop down menu support multiple levels sub menus
2. homepage have 3 different templates as shown in theme demo. and each template has right sidebar where you can use any of given widgets. But left side content area that displays featured and latest articles can be configured from theme options and does not support widgets. So, if you need to modify it more to your custom needs then you need to modify related template code or you can hire our customization services after purchase.

Hi, I need to build a website that will have a database of story books. A user who will visit this site, will be able to filter according to age group and genre of the story book or simply keyword search the story books as well. Then that will take the user to the next page which will have a list of story books, which is clickable to a more detailed page of that story book. A simple search based website.
On the admin side – I should be able to add the name of the story book, author, some photos for the book, a synopsis, a few keywords that will tag the story book for the search, placeholders for video and other media. I should be able to do this for 100s of books which will be searchable on the front-end.
Does this theme do this?

Hay excellent theme! Lets say I’m a bit cheeky and I want my post to have 200 likes?
you can have as many likes as you want. likes counter design in flexible for that.
Plus how did you set it up like that? I would like to know.
a visitor can like a post once. So, when he likes a post his IP address is recorded in database and he cannot like that post again from that same IP address. although he can like other posts.
