Hi Rich, It’s perfect for what i need to do, but i have a problem.

I need that theme has the possibility of creating landing pages of my services:

graphic design, web design and packaging for example, in this way I can generate a seo strategy and attract more traffic to my site.

Thanks. G!

did someone make the services section?

ThemeBeans

Hey G, what services section are you referring to on Koi? Koi does not have a set widget/plugin to display services.

Hi Rich, in “Portfolio Setting” I’ve limit the “Portfolio Template Count” to 20. Now I’d like to see the Portfolio Filter page with all the portfolio items and not only the 20 items visible in my homepage… how can i do? Thank you very very very much!

ThemeBeans

Hey there! Sorry I missed your comment here.

If you have not already discovered, you can set “-1” as your template count, which will pull all your portfolio posts. :)

Everytime I add a page in (like an about us page) it replaces the homepage gridded layout.. im not sure why but its [language] annoying

ThemeBeans

Let’s be professional with the language here. I’m going to have to flag this comment. Please contact us at the Bean Help Center with some details and a URL – I can’t tell what’s going on without any information :)

Also, try turning off any external plugins of the sort – to make sure one of those is not causing the error.

i have fixed it.. sorry about the language… i was going menta haha… it was my fault anyway. On my iphone when I scroll the scroll does no flick (if you know what I mean). If I scroll with touch and take my finger off the screen it will instantly stop and not continue to to scroll naturally after releasing my finger. Any ideas?

ThemeBeans

No problem – it happens :)

Sure, just add “-webkit-overflow-scrolling: touch;” like this screenshot of style.css: http://thmbns.co/Uwpg

ThemeBeans

Glad you like it!

You should be able to set that link via the Theme Customizer > Portfolio Settings. Here’s a screenshot: http://thmbns.co/UycM

Hi,

I remember you mentioning that there is an automatic retina display on this theme. I read that adding @2x before the extension will allow for retina quality, is that correct? If not, how do I activate the retina allowance and do I have to display my images at twice the size? If so, does it matter if the extension is a jpg or png?

Thanks,

Ashley

ThemeBeans

Hey Ashley, Koi does indeed use retina.js to handle retina images and you’re dead right on the @2x (just make sure the different images are in the same image directory). You can turn it on/off via the Theme Customizer, in the Theme Settings tab (screenshot:http://thmbns.co/Uzq6). You don’t have to use retina.js, and it’s ok to use jpg and png files, though jpg will be considerably smaller.

Hope this helps :)

2nd attempt… didn’t get a reply the first time:

How can I change the color of the text for the “Title” and “Tagline” ? I want them both to be white.

I found the html for the background color in “Koi: Stylesheet (style.css)” but can’t find where to edit the text color. Please point me in the right direction.

Thanks!

I also need to change the color of the menu icon.

ThemeBeans

Hey Blake! Do apologize for that! Unfortunately some comments get washed in the mix if there’s a lot of activity here. Here’s some guidance for you:

1. You’ll want to use the following CSS to change those colors. I separated them in case you wanted to have different colors for both:

.site-description {
color: #FFF!important;
}

.logo h1 {
color: #FFF!important;
}

2. You’ll need to edit the source file sprite.psd – and replace the sprite.png file in assets/images/ to change the icon’s color. You’ll also need to @2x the new sprite.png file, so that it displays correctly on retina capable devices.

Thanks!!! I was able to change the colors on the title and tagline. I’ve been messing around with that for a while.

Now… I know that you guys generally don’t do custom stuff like this but is there ANY way you would consider helping me change the color of the menu button (and “X”) to white?

I am afraid that your description above is beyond my ability, but its critical to my site. The current colors (white text on black) match the store front of the client I am building the site for. And obviously the menu button needs to contrast.

Very much appreciated! :)
