Nice work mate
Hi Rich, i’ve bought Koi theme and i love it. It’s perfect for what i need to do, but i have a problem. I really need to have multiple portfolios. I read this section on the support faq (http://help.themebeans.com/customer/portal/articles/1351730-display-portfolio-categories) about the possibility to have “portfolio categories” on the menu, but unfortunately does not work for me. When i click on the “screen options” i don’t see “portfolio categories” but just “portfolio”, as you can see here (http://www.outsiderock.com/inri_problem.jpg).
Can you help me please?
Hey Davide, glad you’re liking the theme! Try adding a link such as this below, to your menu. It’s also really easy to remove the title up top too – if you want help with that, let me know!
Oh well, sure.. the links! I didn’t think about that.. thanks. It works now. Can you tell me also how to remove the title up top? tnx
Sure, no problem! Remove the following from your archive-portfolio.php file (http://thmbns.co/TANe).
Happy new year! Really solid theme! (no surprise for Themebeans)
2 quick questions: for the portfolio “likes” feature, are the likes for each folio post captured somewhere (in order to see how many likes a certain piece has)?
Additionally, would it be difficult to add the “like” feature to the portfolio detail page as well (instead of only on the main folio page with all works)?
Hey GBrownel, sure no problem:
1. Not out of the box, but the variable is stored for easy retrieval – like if you wanted to display it on the single portfolio view, in the meta list. I can help you with that. Ah, that answers both questions!
Perfect! Thanks Rich. I’ll reach out to you again once I’m to that point.
Alrighty mate! Let me know!
Hey Rich. Getting the theme set up & excited about it. I’m curious on adding the number of likes to the project detail meta… is that a fairly easy addition? Thanks in advance!
Hey mate! It is indeed. Open a ticket at our Support Center and we’ll get you going
Great work as usual guys! We wish you a happy new year and best of luck with sales!
Thanks Codestag – loving your new theme as well! Let’s keep 2014 rolling strong!
